The Village on Beaver Creek Apartments is one of the better apartments around in terms of cost. The apartment is three levels with different apartment buildings. It kind of reminds me of condos. What’s good about these apartments is that there is a washer and dryer in every apartment. Also they don’t have a gym or a pool so you don’t get charged extra on the rent if you’re not going to be using that.(if you got to another gym already) There is open parking(uncovered) for all the tenants. And the rooms aren’t too bad. Although the apartment they showed me reeked of cigarette smoke. It’s in a nice area, but there isn’t really much within walking distance from The Village. What’s good about these guys is that when you’re looking on Craigslist for apartments, you don’t see fifty spam adds just for one place. Also, they had a staffing turnover in June. Denise used to work there as the community manager, but she might have retired. Bobby still works there, but on the days that he’s off, they have someone come in from the corporate office in Indiana to work.

I miss this apartment complex so much! I lived here for three years and I loved it. It’s super-quiet(it’s in a noise-restricted area). It’s tucked away from the«business» part of Beavercreek so it’s very private and peaceful. But it isn’t so far away that you can’t get anywhere relatively quick. It is really close to The Greene(just get on Research and keep driving straight) and Fairfield Commons(just get on North Fairfield and keep driving straight). There’s Kroger Marketplace, Jack’s, Tim Hortons, Frisch’s, Taco Bell, McDonald’s, Hotheads, Beaver-Vu Bowling, Marion’s, and a few other assorted businesses less than five minutes away. It is about 15 – 20 minutes from Wright State(depending on traffic), so it’s doable if you’re a student. The community is small and most of the neighbors keep to themselves. The only problem we ever had with a neighbor was there was one guy who had a loud dog, but other than that, most people were pretty respectful and quiet. The leasing office is also super friendly and just awesome people in general. The only reason I don’t still live there is because the rent is on the higher end, and I can’t afford it anymore. But truthfully, you get what you pay for. If I ever get a better paying job, I’ll seriously consider moving back.

I don’t write many reviews, but I lived here for 2 years as a medical student and I loved this place. First, you have to know what you are looking for. This place doesn’t have any particular amenities such as a gym, pool, or lobby, but if you are just looking for a quiet and clean apartment to live, this place is awesome. Pros: close to the 35 freeway made my commute the MVH easy, and still close enough to drive to Wright State. Kroger supermarket is 5 minutes away, the greene is about 10 – 15 min drive. They have a washer and dryer in the unit. The place itself is quiet and I had absolutely zero issues with neighbors. Ample parking for yourself and visitors. They have a grass lawn in the front with some benches and cornhole and grill to enjoy a nice day out. Rent is very affordable and they give you a student discount. They have an online portal setup to contact maintenance, which by the way, I never had to contact, and to set up automatic rent payments. The management(Denise) is great. Always greets you with a smile and knows who you are. In my case, I had to move out early out of my contract. I wasn’t sure where I was going to end up after graduation so I was unable to give much of a notice. Now, I was willing to pay up to my contract, but she was able to have someone else move in early and recalculated my payments, and in the process saved me a lot of money. Cons: If you are looking for a «fancy» place, you might be disappointed. I lived in the Lofts at beavercreek for the first 2 years, which had a very nice lobby, pool, gym, etc. but the rent was way too expensive. I still think this place is a perfect place for someone looking to pay a fair rent for an apartment.
