Know what’s great? Overcharging for gas… unless you’re on the receiving end of the metal pipe. Then it blows. So, let me get it straight: not only do I get to wait in line, but I get to pay more for gas than I have anywhere else all year, including the high octane stuff I run in my truck? Nice! Congratulations, I guess??? But thanks a ton for that… except for not the thanks part. I don’t know what’s better, having the ineptly positioned pumps or the scarred and awful displays that are so slow they actually cause lines. Maybe it should be the lack of maintenance because I guess I didn’t really want my receipt after all. All that extra paper would just weigh me down anyway, right? First and last time here to this disgrace… maybe they could take some of that money they’re spending lining I-15 with billboards and actually upgrade the stupid pumps so people at least can get some value for that overcharge(at least $.50/gallon more than anywhere else on my mini-trip — small town gouging much?) and get in and out quickly.

This is one of our usual stops on the I-15 corridor between Las Vegas and SLC(Salt Lake City). Cute selection of books, unusual snacks, Wendy’s, and an extensive selection of «inappropriate» tshirts, hats, and other assorted novelties… I’m all for civic pride and all,(and who doesn’t «heart» NY?)…well…if you or someone you know enjoys knicknacks emblazoned with touristy double entendres, then, when you are done here at the Flying J in Beaver, I would also suggest the Pilot in Weed, CA and the Love’s in Hooker, OK. Not sure if the«Virginia is for lovers» tourism campaign is still alive, but Pennsylvania has Intercourse and Blue Balls.

We’ve stopped through here several times whilst en route to or from Las Vegas or Denver, depending on which direction we’re traveling. The restrooms are indeed capacious and well-kept, and they always have a good selection of convenience store necessities at fair prices. Gas may be a bit more expensive than some places, but it is right off the highway and some manner of markup is to be expected. I didn’t think it was an unduly high price for fuel when we stopped through, and I can hardly expect they’d be offering fuel at my price-of-choice(that being free), so I found it to be acceptable. I believe they have a restaurant of some kind built into the place that seemed to serve breakfast burritos at the very least, but we came through in the middle of the day so snacks and drinks with lids were more in order at the time so we didn’t try their offerings. However, we know where to return in case we should ever require«I Heart Beaver» logo merchandise at any point in the future.

Most of us know Flying J has a reputation nationally of offering very competitively priced gasoline. Many drivers will consciously stop at one to refill for that reason alone. But for the several Flying J’s around the Beaver Utah area along I-15 that was NOT the case. I should have noticed something was amiss when these station’s prominent flashing LED pricing signs displayed only their diesel price. When I puled up to their pump their regular gas prices 15 – 20 cents a gallon HIGHER than the competition. Be warned! They are Flying J’s but in name not by their gas prices. If you don’t see their LED sign showing their price for regular keep driving!

A few rude employees, dirty restroom. Manager acts like she would rather be somewhere else than at her JOB

This place is seriously popular, maybe it’s just busy due to people traveling for Thanksgiving like us. That said though there’s a bit of everything here — gas, food mart, restaurants, even has a motel. A good road-trip stop point for sure. There was quite the wait at the gas pumps, and they were seriously slow at pumping. Bathrooms were large and clean, no wait there despite the crowds. Food mart is nothing special, what you expect in a small town travel stop.

If you want literally anything with I Beaver plastered on it then this gas station /truck stop is for you. I admit I had to giggle and even bought a nice I Beaver refrigerator magnet. Flying J knows it’s audience and I was happy to see the vast selection of energy drinks to provide my driving fuel. We had already filled up earlier in our journey so there was no need to buy gas, but we did partake of the expansive and clean restrooms. If you need a pit stop, this place meets the high standards I expect of a Flying J.

Great place to stop, fill up and use the bathrooms. The bathrooms are huge and seem to be well kept. If you need a quick break from the road and this is your next exit then I would recommend stopping at this place.

None of the pumps seemed to be printing receipts, which was a pain, and not terribly cheap gas despite nearby competition, but not bad, decent store, and the restaurant seemed to be popular.
