Cheap and cheerful country course. 9 holes, 2800yd, par 34. Cheap to play, never a wait, and walking and playing alone are always allowed. All ages/skill levels welcome, carts available. Friendly staff, magnificent views. Fairways and greens generally okay+, but the rough can be tough, so if you’re wayward on tee shots just take some cheaper or older balls with you, just in case. First couple holes are on a slope, but after that it’s generally flat. One blind drive near the end, across a horse racing loop, but the staff give you a good idea of where to aim. I play here sometimes when driving LA-SLC. If you’re tired of the Mesquite/St. Georges golf crowd, give Beaver a try. When the breeze kicks up it can be a challenge, but overall it’s good, and certainly good for a change. Nothing fancy, but definitely okay.
