Over the past few years, I have made multiple trips to eat here for breakfast, lunch and dinner. My overall experience has been very good. Food and service are always good, fast and friendly. My only criticism is that they need to change things up or add items to the menu more often. It’s always good to have your«favorite dishes» but occasionally it would be nice to try something different.

This was our third visit to Z’s and The experience has been the same each time. The service was inattentive and the food was only okay. The Mix It Up Monday special was a Reuben Burger. The burger was decent and had a small amount of sauerkraut and an even smaller amount of «tender» corned beef thrown on top. Even served with fries(not all of which were cooked through) didn’t add up to being worth $ 11. The three egg omelet with American bacon and Italian sausage was good in the beginning until the middle was reached and the uncooked eggs were discovered. They did take it off the bill, but it was still pretty unappetizing. For being there on a Monday evening when the place really wasn’t that busy I would have expected a better overall experience. Almost 30 minutes for a burger and an omelet during a slow night is not a way to win my business.

We just left the Z Pub and had the most amazing dinner. We had called ahead to make sure they served cottage cheese as our son has to have it with his dinner and we’re told that yes they did. When we got there we placed our order and was told they don’t carry cottage cheese after explaining that we had called and we’re told yes the manager went to the store and bought our son cottage cheese to go with his dinner. To us that was going above and beyond service and not to mention everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. Will definitely be going back.

Went in to have breakfast this morning and I was pleasantly surprised! All the staff is extremely friendly, especially Karen. She is definitely the best and most efficient server there. I ordered quite a bit. When trying new places I like to order many items. I ordered eggs, sausage, home fries, a pancake and French toast. Hands down, the French toast was the best. Second would be the pancake. The sausage was a non event. Wouldn’t order that again as it had no taste. The potatoes were good. Overall I had a great experience and Pat, the cook is awesome as well! I would definitely go back. I heard the gyros are awesome.

Had a wonderful experience here on my recent road trip! We got off the highway when we saw the high ratings, and upon finding out that breakfast is available all day, we knew we made the right choice. Great service, delicious food, and a laid-back atmosphere. 4.5 stars for our family vacation. Food: Our table ordered a few different dishes. The Z…-Plus breakfast was awesome for my 9 pm dinner. Eggs,(slightly salty) bacon, home fries, buttered toast, and most importantly, two HUGE light and fluffy pancakes really hit the spot. I recommend adding strawberries to the pancakes, and avoiding the sausage links. Way too much food for one person but it was exactly what I wanted! 4.5 stars! One in our party ordered the Breakfast Burger, which was a hamburger on a bagel. Fries were a little salty, and he gave the dish 3.5 stars. Another in our party ordered the Hot Mess, which really was a mess! They may have overdone the gravy for his tastebuds, and the fries were not piping hot, but his plate was cleaned with a smile. 4 – 4.5 stars. Service: Wonderful! Our waiter was efficient, charismatic, and was really welcoming. Ambiance: The place didn’t look like much from the outside, but the inside was cozy and well laid out. Really happy with our stop here! Would come back next time we’re passing through.

MESSAGETO Z’s MANAGER: I’m a regular at Zs pub. I’d like to point out a few things to the management where in my opinion they need to improve to continue to be be successful as I’d hate to see your business fail. Usually the burgers are really good. The wait staff ask what temp you want your burger at, which I appreciate, as at a clean place I’ll order a burger medium rare. The other day I had a really disappointing burger here, I order the«works» burger. It came out like I’ve never seen it before, on an oversized bun, with raw(not sautéed mushrooms), no sauce of any kind, and the burger was well passed«well done, and very dry. It was actually charred black on one side. I’m not one to send food back, or somebody that has time to wait for another meal, so I tried to eat it. Not good. It made a little sense when a young scruffy guy came out of the kitchen to get a drink, and he looked pretty hungover. A change in kitchen staff is what I assume was the problem, as the food is usually pretty good. Z’s: Please work on your consistency Another thing I’ve been troubled about is the fish sandwich Z’s serves.(Yes it is a nice piece of fish, and fairly priced) It apparently ONLY comes panko coated, and the sandwich comes as only fish and bread with tartar or cocktail sauce. I’ve ordered this multiple times and I’ve been craving some veg on this sandwich. Some fresh lettuce, tomato, or homemade pickles would make it SO much better. Also, the piece of fish is fried, great, but apparently it is Impossible to get it «beer-battered». I know this because I’ve asked many times. No restaurant close to Chippewa, PA serves a good beer battered fish.(sometimes my family drives to a place 1 hour away to get good beer battered cod) It doesn’t make sense that a restaurant that doubles and a 6 pack shop/craft beer focused establishment would not offer a killer beer batter. This would set you apart. I think customers would love to see that, thank you.

We sat at the bar… the service was great. We were kinda needy asking a good few questions but the bartender(not sure of his name, was a Sat night) was super nice and didn’t seem to mind. I got a burger and my boyfriend got the chipotle chicken sandwich and we got the pretzels as an app. All of it was delish! They didn’t have Titos but I survived haha. Definitely will be back!

I was told that they have the best steak salads and it’s true. Some friends had complained of poor service but I have never had a complaint yet. If I had any complaints it would be bout the six pack shop which is a separate department but has the same owner. They always seem to be closed at the six pack shop, but even when«open«there may or not be anyone working.

I went to Z Pub with my girlfriend for the 2nd time recently after other meal plans had fallen through and had a decent experience. THEGOOD: The Gyros are some of the best ive had. They are enormous, flavorful, and a great price. Id say they put the local Papa Dukes in their place. The beer selection is great and the way they have the beers organized makes it easy to select something if you have an idea what your taste is. The restaurant both times was very clean and the open floor plan doesnt make you feel cramped. We really enjoyed the setting. THEBAD: THEGRAPELEAVES. I dont know where to start. I love grape leaves and was hugely let down by these. The fact that I paid 8.99 for only 5 small grape leaves that were flavorless and i couldnt find a bit of meat in is unacceptable. Our waitress was not able to provide me further information about beers we asked about. Her reasoning was that she was under 21 and hadnt tried any of them. It would have been nice for her to offer to get information from a bartender maybe as the beer I ended up taking a chance on ended up being Gluten free and wasnt good at all. Prices on the beer listings would also be nice as my girlfriend ordered a bottle that we ended up being charged $ 7 for. For one bottle? Some heads up would be nice. Overall we have enjoyed most of the food here but the things we were unhappy about were very disappointing. We will definitely be back for gyros but are going to have to be very careful to watch out for overpriced let downs, Worth giving this place a try!

I usually go for lunch and I sit at the bar. It is the same food, better service. ZPub’s team is always friendly and the food is home made and fantastic. Gyros are great and they run a feature on them on Wednesdays for 4 bucks I believe. Great deal!

Great experience yesterday evening! Our server Kaine was an absolute delight, prompt quick service and very attentive! Kaine was well groomed and polite, she took our drink orders and even made suggestions from the menu and it was a great experience. I am glad to have given Z-Pub a chance on clean slate and was not let down in the slightest. Clean restaurant, delicious food & cold refreshing brews! P. S.: if you are stumped by the variety from the menu. You can’t go wrong with the grape leaves, a works burger(Med-Rare) and a nice pint of Guinness. P. P. S.: The fries were warm but not«fresh hot» I’m not sure if the type of fries is what dissipates heat quickly but if i had to be picky that was my only gripe. Thank you Z-Pub for a wonderful experience. –Matthew

Great. We come here a bunch when in the area. We bring the whole family. Super friendly staff. Service is not slow, it’s appropriate. If you’re in a hurry: not their fault. French Onion fantastic. Fish sandwich, Stuffed or Cinnamon French Toast, Works Burger, shepherd’s pie. All great. THEFRIES!

Great sandwiches, greasy fries, slow service. We had the gyro sandwich and the hot Italian sausage sandwich and they were great. They have a new menu with a lot of choices. Unfortunately, the fries were overcooked and greasy. And the service was very slow. They were only ½ full with 3 or 4 wait-staff. But the sandwiches were so good that we will try them again. A note to the previous reviewer who was insulted because the waitress asked his son to pass his plate. Do us all a favor and stay in Pittsburgh and the 5 star restaurants you obviously frequent. There are nice restaurants here in Chippewa and nice people. We don’t need snobs who think they are better than us or too good to show some common courtesy. To your son: I hope you meet some nice people who teach you to be a decent human being. Your father is not doing you any favors.

Return To Dimension Z Burgers are always a default for me when I don’t know what I want to eat at a restaurant. Having been to Z Pub a couple of times before, I opted for their Works Burger. Featuring a dead perfect medium-rare chargrilled patty made up of 8 ounces of pure Angus(and I ain’t talkin’ about Mr. Young) embellished with cheddar, provolone, bacon, peppers, mushrooms, onions, and a «hot pepper» mayonnaise on a soft but absorbent bun only an expert baker could craft, it positively dripped with savory, piquant essences, the cheese melting ideally, the other fixings providing layers of texture and flavor. After some disappointing burgers in recent weeks, this was what I was overdue for. Z Pub’s sensational shoestring fries would flank the masterful Works Burger and the Margarita Pancake Stack, which I merely had a taste of during my initial visit, would act as my dessert, its creamy, tangy notes making it more of a meal-ending parfait than a brunchtime menu item. And before all of this, a serving of Fried Cheese teased our taste nodules with a crisp, seasoned breading that unleashed liquified provolone/pepperjack once our forks broke the threshold of each triangle. The service was typically stellar, and the casual but upscale ambience has yet to fade. Flip over to Channel Z for capably prepared barroom/diner eats the next time you find yourself in Chippewa.

I went here on a Saturday at 6pm. It was busy but not packed to the point of uncomfortable. There was room to walk and you could eat without feeling jammed into a small place. The place is really nicely done. Has modern décor and very clean. The staff was over the top helpful and nice! My great aunt needed a lighter and one of the bartenders looked all over the restaurant and into the beer shop for one for her. He was so nice about it. Our waitress was right on top of everything, and we had a party of 11 so she was busy, but polite and extremely familiar with the menu. I was very impressed with the staff to say the least. Wish it was closer to home, I would be a regular here no doubt! The food was about as good as it gets. My daughter and I split chicken fingers for appetizers. They were made from fresh chicken and hand breaded made to order. They were by far the best we have had, and being a parent you eat a lot of chicken fingers! LOL Then we had the fish sandwich. It was very good as well. The bun to the fish sandwich was actually the size of the fish itself. So it was probably around 10 inches long. We were very full even know we split it. The fries were very very good! I am not a fry eater, but these things were so good that my sister and I were really thinking about ordering extras after we got our food. I don’t know what exactly made them great, but they were awesome! Every person that was with us was blown away with their food. Like I said there was 11 of us, and everyone was impressed. My mother is very frugal and she was extremely pleased with the prices. I am more of a quality person, and the quality of the food was impressive. I also don’t like taking my daughter to bar type restaurants because of the possibility of drunken unruly patrons, but this wasn’t even a thought while we were there. So all and all this is without a question a 5 star place for me and my family, ages ranging from 86 to 13! :)

First time at Z Pub. Really nice interior. Clean and good atmosphere. Our Waiter/Bartender was really nice. I got the Hot Turkey Sandwich and it was pretty good. Was basically like eating Thanksgiving Dinner in a plate. My Date got the Club Sandwich and she said it was also really good. We split an order of the Mac N Cheese(with Bacon) and it was also really good. I would probably stop back here again. This was on a Sunday night so it was not very crowded. For Beaver County this place was pretty good.
