I remember my Dad taking me to DeAngelis when I was a kid. We usually went to the one in Rochester or Monaca. When I drive to Steelers games I always swing by this location. You cannot beat their bavarian cream filled chocolate long johns! And the hot chocolate is yummy… may be a little too hot but yummy. This place always brings back good memories for me :)

Stopped here for a doughnut and coffee on the way to Youngstown. I had the Bavarian chocolate custard long john… I liked the custard cream as it was very light. I also liked how the donuts were long. It’s nice that the sweetness was not overpoweringly sweet. I find this to be very important.
I also like their slogan «Delightfully Different since 1947». I do like unique doughnut shops. The place has diner-​like seating area so you can stay in and eat.
