Sadly the last time I had D&G pizza was about 7 years ago… My daughter and son-in-law just had some a week ago and assure me that their pizza is as good if not better. I used to work and live in Beaver Falls back in the late 1970’s early 1980’s. We would walk from one end of BF to the other just to get our regular fix of D&G pizza. Light and crispy crust, plenty of tangy sauce and a nice helping of cheese made it the nectar of the gods. I’ve moved away from the pizza mecca of Beaver County to a place outside of Washington, DC. Pizza here sucks big time… when I moved into my neighborhood I asked were I could get some good pizza… I was told Pizza Hut… so that goes to show you the disgusting level that they consider to be good. I wish I could teleport myself up there to get another taste of real pizza again maybe it will revive my now dead taste buds. For those of you who live close to D&G do yourselves a favor, stop by pick up some of their delicious pizza and ENJOY…

D&G is definitely a favorite, you have to try the sausage pizza it’s by far my favorite. There’s nothing else like it around!

Fantastic homemade style pizza! I’m a pizza lover and have been to plenty of pizza shops. If you haven’t tried D&G pizza then you don’t know good pizza!

If you’re not from here then you will never understand. My dad was born and raised in beaver falls so D&G was always a part of growing up in the area. We ate Augustine’s and D&G and that was it. I’ve been all over the world and I still feel that D&G is the best, hands down. Does it have to do with nostalgia? Absolutely. But the sauce and the crust are the perfect compliment to each other and the cold toppings set it off perfectly. I’m about to order my dad a sheet for his birthday this week and have it shipped to him in South Carolina

Grew up on D&G Pizza it hasn’t changed in 50 years still the best I’ve ever had. And you can still buy it by the slice. :-)

D&G is a Beaver Falls landmark. Pizza is ordered at the counter by the slice and cooked in sheets. As soon as it comes out of the ovens, the toppings you ordered are added. The crust is thick but crunchy. The sauce has a little bite to it. They put the normal mozzarella cheese on it and also a grated cheese. It’s an old school pizza place that I guess people either love or hate. Personally I love it. There’s a reason it’s been here all these years.

Felt like I was being Punk’d with this place. We kept hearing people say it was fantastic, and I am going to assume that love is based on nostalgia rather than taste or quality — yes, cold topping pizza IS a polarizing type of pizza(a «you love it or you hate it» sort of thing), but while we don’t hate cold topping pizza, we DID hate this. It tasted to us like the crust was made 4 years ago and, while having no mold, was beyond stale and tasteless, and the service was worse with no hello, rolling eyes when they had to walk away from a conversation with their friends to help us, and just the most minimal amount of communication needed to complete the order transaction. I sincerely don’t know what’s good about this place, but congrats to them on having such a loyal following!

Best pizza hands down in Beaver Falls. I have not had many pizza’s in the great state of Pennsylvania but I think I would brave this out and say this has to be some of the best pizza in the state. What makes this pizza so great? The crust is thick without being too thick. It is buttery, flaky and just enough bite to it. The sauce has a bit of red pepper in it, which makes it wonderful for me. The cheese is always melted just perfectly and is some of the best. Secondly, the pizza is always fresh. Thirdly, the pizza is cooked only with sauce and cheese. After it comes out of piping hot oven, then they add the rest of your ingredients. The first time I ate here, I ordered my pizza with everything on it and OHEMGEE, that pizza was piled high to the sky with ingredients. It was good, but a heaping mouthful to the say least. Upon my returns after that, I learned that a little less was better. But there is just something about how they put the ingredients on after wards instead of cooking it all together. You truly get the flavor profile of each ingredient starting from the dough to the very last topping. If you ever travel to Pittsburgh or the surrounding area, this is definite must go to and try out. They don’t open until 4, so coming here for lunch is out of the question!
