Waffle House Beaumont was both a true culinary and cultural experience at 2am. The eggs we perfectly firm yet with a subtle yolk that blended well with the crisp toast made of the finest white breads. The steak was nicely griddle seared with notes of bacon and hash brown that complimented the finely sliced t-bone cut. Served with aged Heinze 57 it was excellent. coffee was black and hot with profiles of pecan waffle and syrup. The orange juice de concentrate was blended perfectly with finest local water and offered a light acidity that complimented the meal well. Above all the service was excellent, staff well trained in the art and comfort of diner cuisine. The classic yellow décor and shuttle glow of the iconic Waffle House sign was representative of days gone past.

Waffle House — a Southern goodness! PROS: — Located right off the highway which gives anyone who is passing by a chance to experience this delicious Southern batter goodness before heading in to Louisiana or if you’re coming in to Texas! — Friendly service. — Nice size parking lot. CONS: — Although the service is friendly, it can be a bit slow.

The food was good – bacon, eggs, and grits – pretty hard to mess up. The service – HIGHLY disappointed when she dropped my bacon on the ground and said«5 second rule, right?» Only she made eye contact with my friend, and only then decided to throw it away and prepare me another piece of bacon. Will I return to this location? Heck no!

I’ve been here a couple times and it’s a great diner! It’s cheap and efficient. I recommend the omelets. It’s affordable and the food is great! There are plenty of breakfast food to choose from and there are some lunch items that are available as well. The place has limited seating so it’s first come first serve basis.

Waffle House oh Waffle House. You’re tasty, you’re cheap, you’re fast. I grew up with them every couple of miles depending on what stretch of highway you were on and no matter which one you go to, it’s always kind of the same. Other than that time I was at the one in D’Iberville and SWORE I was in Alabama… Firebirds, Camaraos and Mullets EVERYWHERE. This one was no different than the rest, other than being in Beaumont! It was everything I ever thought Beaumont would be. Let me fill you in! It was SUPER slow so most of the staff was just hanging around and shooting the breeze. I got to hear about all kinds of things like Cricket phones, ‘scraping the rims’ of some dudes car(not sure what that means but It may have been that the lady was ‘large and in charge’?) THEN came the shift change! Oh man, I guess the new shift cook was talking mad smack to the other cooks and everyone else. I could’ve sat there laughing all night(think barbershop the movie) BUT I had to drive to MS. The food? It was typical Waffle House fair, it’s all the same. except the time the cook decided smoking was more important than actually toasting my bread. This one was COLDASHELL though. Bring a jacket or a hoodie for your own good!

This waffle house off of I-10 is by far the best one I’ve been to in Beaumont. Every waitress we get is very friendly and helpful not like others that really don’t make you feel welcome… As most customers that come in i USUALLY order the ALLSTARSPECIAL you cant beat that!!! waffle 2 eggs bacon toast hash browns and orange juice… you cant go wrong… Whether its Breakfast, lunch, or dinner its a good place to eat at!

A Waffle House is a Waffle House generally. They are pretty interchangeable. But this was the most fun I’ve had at a Waffle House ever. When my boyfriend and I arrived for dinner we we traveling from Houston to Alabama on I-10. We stopped at a time where conveniently there weren’t any other customers, and our waiter and waitress Ryan and Tristan were lots of fun. They were incredibly conversational. Ryan offered to dance to Beyonce on the jukebox, but by the time that song arrived the waffle house was much more crowded than when we arrived. I had grits, eggs, and english muffins and it was exactly what I expected from a Waffle House but oh so much more entertaining. Sometimes atmosphere makes a stop that much better.
