We love this place! Great atmosphere, great bar tenders, good food and good cocktails. I know saying the best in Beaumont isn’t that big of a deal especially with only options being players, Applebee’s and Chilis but this place is hands down our favorite!

We got here after work so that was about 11:30 in the evening and it’s not crowded. It was a week day as well. Food was fast, we ordered the platter with onion rings, chicken wings and I forgot the rest but it a lot for three people. Price is not cheap and service is okay. They close at 0200. Ambiance is quiet and good bar to catch up with friends.

This little gem is right around the corner from my house. The food is good especially the tomato bisque soup! The drinks and beer selection are excellent too! The servers are very friendly and make you feel at home here!

My husband and I love this place! We have been there several times now. We just tried it for the first time a few months ago and just went again recently. The bar is awesome and drinks are pretty standard price. They have lots of TVs with sports on each one. The wait staff is pretty cool. We’ve had several waitress’s having been there several times and everyone is super nice and attentive. The food is better than bar food. They have excellent burgers and sandwiches. My husband has also had their tacos and loved them. It has a great atmosphere lots of fun and pool tables to boot. Def worth 5 stars!

Went in on a Thursday night for dinner. Don’t go in on a football night if you want decent service. We were seated for quite a while before anyone even came to greet us and get us drinks. Everything took a long time and we had to ask for basics like napkins whenever we finally caught someone. The food was decent but nothing special. And evidently they have a refill limit! I get that for people who sit there for an entire game but through the course of a meal, come on! As always, my husband had more refills than I and then we were informed of the limit. He was brought a refill anyway and then I asked for only my second refill(and the glasses are by no means large) — which I didn’t figure should be an issue as I had only had 1 refill and I needed to wash down the end of my meal — but we sure got quite the eye roll. We won’t be back!

We love this place. After golf we usually come here. Veronica and laurissa usually wait on us, and we’ve always been pleased! Food and service are great! Some favorite items are bbq spicy wings, garlic fries, jalapeño fries, buffalo wings are good, cheeseburgers are good, decent steak, chicken tortilla soup has a kick and is good. I noticed the mixed reviews, but for us it’s been great! Give it a try. Note-happy hour can be busy, so be patient. Location-golf lovers will love location. Worth checking out! Pool table inside and they show a variety of sports channels.

Great service, drinks and food. The turkey burger is amazing and I love the fried pickles. All the bartenders are amazing. Love the atmosphere and décor. Fun friendly clean place to hang out.

Horrible service after ordering two beers. My husband and I went there on a Thursday afternoon about 3:30pm. There was only about 10 people at the bar. It was very slow. We told the waitress we would like round 2 of our beers. She took our order and walk over to a customer and had started a long conversation with him and forgot about our drinks. I kept looking over thinking I would get her attention. NOPE! 5 – 10 min pass by. I went to the bar counter and asked for my check. She then realized she screw up and said; «I am so sorry I am not myself today». At that point I was ready to leave and never return.

Strong drinks. More of an older crowd. Food is pretty good. I haven’t had a bad experience here yet!

Stranded in Beaumont and the only social activity in town appears to happen in this corner of a modest strip mall. The windows are tinted, so I’m surprised when I walk it on a Tuesday night to a packed house. It’s got a golf clubhouse vibe to it not surprisingly given the name. Watching the painting class going on was a small bonus. Limited draft options, but reasonably priced menu with burger focus. I had the Tuesday tacos, which after 2IPA’s worked just fine.

We Love SandTrap! Great local place when you need a night out! Very friendly staff! Atmosphere is inviting and fun! The good is delicious(buffalo chicken wrap). The only improvement would be to add Mojitos to their drink menu!

Even if you don’t want to drink, this is a great place for good food, fun and friendly service and late hours in the Pass area. My wife and I have gone there twice when we wanted a nice, late dinner. Awesome salad for the vegetarian and delicious turkey burger(try the«Fusion Burger») for both vegetarians and carnivores. You can have an intimate and yummy dining experience alongside the bar scene. Give it a try!

My husband and I went here twice two weeks ago. Once the two of us and once with friends. The margaritas are as horribleness others say!!! Both times! The sandwiches were good, however, we ordered the wings and they were either over cooked or cooked in bad oil. (The BLT and club sandwiches were amazing) I totally agree with some of the other reviews as far as the drinks go. It needs a complete over haul! This place has so much potential and we loved that it so close to our home and adults only… But disappointing if we aren’t going to get good drinks and good appetizers!

In Beaumont there isn’t too many options for«nightlife.» This 21 and up place is the go to place. They have many televisions to watch sports. The bartenders are nice and attentive. They have music sometimes. They carry local microbrews on tap, wine and your normal liquors. A good place to just chill out after a long day at work or golf. I recommend the Karl Strauss Red Trolley if you are looking for a good microbrew. Hanger 24 has some pretty good ones as well. We have ordered lunch to go here a few times. The food is «ok», however not something I would instantly think of or crave. I have had the roast beef dip and the pastrami burger. The pastrami burger was definitely the better of the two. Pastrami, burger, lettuce, onions, tomato, 1000 island dressing with some pepper jack cheese. It was pretty decent.

Good food, good service and good prices and best of all NOKIDSALLOWED. Pretty much a sports bar but has better food then most. Daily specials and happy hour prices. Nice place to get away and chill out.

My 5 year old granddaughter and I walked over to this strip shopping center from our Holiday Inn Express hotel to grab some burgers for dinner. We could smell the burgers grilling and the sign on this restaurant stated that this is a grill. Imagine our surprise when we went to open the door and saw a sign that no one under 21 years old was allowed to enter. I have been in many restaurants that serve alcohol, but have never seen one that discriminates against children before. What on earth are they doing in there – showing porn or something?

Nothing has changed and I haven’t nor will I ever return. I ordered my whiskey to try it, then had the coke added. I wasn’t complaining about the Jack. It’s my favorite alcohol and I would never tarnish it’s amazingness. I was talking about the joke of a margarita that was served to me. As well as the fact that we were literally sitting next to the bartenders conversation with someone else about nothing, yet it still took minutes to get served after my fiancé’s beer was done. Don’t try to defend horrible service. Nicole had just turned 21 and it was supposed to be a good night out to celebrate that. Unfortunately it was ruined by your establishment. Now good day.

The wife and I decided to try someplace different so we traveled out to Beaumont on a Saturday night a couple weeks ago. We were hungry and were hoping to try something really fantastic, unfortunately we did not find anything that we deemed fantastic here. This place is primarily a bar and it feels like the restaurant aspect of this establishment was simply an afterthought. There were signs posted all over the place forbidding anyone under 21 admittance. Does that sound like most restaurants to you? Anyway, we sat down and a waitress came over promptly. In fact, she kept coming over to our table many times; it was our first time there and we were looking over the drink and food menus. It seemed like she was starting to grow impatient w/us, but I could have been wrong. I know I said it felt like the restaurant part was an afterthought, but only in terms of the layout of the building and table placements– they actually had a solid food menu. Anyways, I decided on the U.S. Open adult beverage and the Sandtrap Signature Burger medium well. My wife ordered a different burger and requested it to be cooked medium. Our burgers both came back well done. Why did the waitress bother to ask us how we wanted them cooked if Charmander was gonna burn ‘em up in the kitchen anyway? Well, my wife sent hers back and it finally came back as she originally requested(I imagine that was after the cooks shooed all the Pokemon out of the kitchen). My burger was pretty average w/decent flavor except for the overpowering onions. My adult beverage was mixed fairly well also. The tables are layed out in front of the bar w/the long, wide tables having what appeared to be vinyl tablecloths(which gave me a bad flashback of Yucaipa’s American Road Trip’s early days). There were several TVs playing sports and there was a very tiny stage w/a microphone presumably for karaōke. There is one pool table located off to the the side right before you get to the restrooms. A nice plus is they offer a Unilocal check in offer for 10% off your food purchase. I’m sure I’ll be back here for a drink w/some friends in the future, but the food didn’t really stand out as noteworthy IMO so I won’t return w/hungry intentions.
