I honestly don’t understand a majority of the 1-star reviews for this Gamestop. I’ve been going here since the place had opened and haven’t had a bad experience other than there only being 2 registers and it can get busy when it’s the holiday season or when certain games/sales are going on. Other than that I haven’t had a single problem here. The staff is always nice, knowledgeable and courteous and I’ve never felt pressured to buy anything. I’ll definitely be coming back here in the future.

Let me tell you why I gave this place a one. First for lying about the pre order hours release date. You see I preordered street fighter v collectors edition which is out on feb 16 but they said I could pick it up on the 15th. Well today is the 15th I’m not playing it because their doors closed at 9:20 after they had told me 10 o’clock. I was in front of the door standing and nope they wouldn’t even open it, I arrived at 9:27, I am left not playing street fighter and then ruining my day. I will never ever pre order anything from here ever again

We stood in line at this place, not moving more than 2 feet from where we started for more than 45 minutes. Then some kid who works there starts coming around with a tablet like he was gonna help people and just asked everyone what they were there for. When they told him his response to everyone in line was, «they’ll help you at the counter.» After that a different employee came around handing out candy to people in line. Give me a break. Store is terrible.

Great staff and service. Extremely helpful and patient with customers and provide an endless amount of knowledge on just about all video games. Usually when I stop by, I’m pleased to be helped by Richard, he’s super friendly and very helpful. All of the staff gives great advice and always tries their best to help out each and every customer. This GameStop is, by far, the best one I’ve been to yet. Would highly recommend and will continue shopping here!

My first trip here has been an inexcusably long one. I came to trade some hardware/software and buy new merchandise. I waited in line for approximately 15 – 20 minutes while Jose(nice enough guy) assisted with a single transaction. It then took another 10 full minutes for me to trade in seven games and an Xbox 360 console, primarily because Jose moves with zero urgency. I fully understand customer service trumping speed, but there were four people behind me and my transaction was quite simple as I’ve done it dozens of times in the past. Then I browsed for a few minutes and selected two new games. I was in line behind three customers. This is usually not a terrible situation, however the same lack of urgency was on display and this ordeal took another 30 minutes. These were all very basic transactions, I might add. I think the thing that had me dissatisfied the most, was there was a clearly more experienced female employee that could have assessed the situation and given Jose(who by this point I’ve concluded is just new) a hand. I get that it’s close to closing time and there are tasks that need to be completed, but your guy is struggling and your customers are standing in line Unilocal-ing. The employees were not rude in any way, they just need to take notice of log jams and give each other a hand. This trip should never have taken close to a whole hour.

My family and I went to this particular gamestop location on today’s date October 5th, 2014. We waited in the long line to ask an associate about the free Gengar event and if we could get a couple codes for the 3 of us. We were then asked by one of the employees if we had pre ordered the new pokemon games, to which we replied that we hadn’t yet. The young woman with dark hair and glasses then refused to give us the code cards because we didn’t pre order the game, then reluctantly slammed a single card on the counter. I asked her politely for 2 more cards and she replied in an unnecessary tone«one per customer» then like a child released a heavy sigh and reached into the box pulling out a single card. The Gengar event does not require any purchase and is a public promotion. Today was the final straw in a long history of unpleasant visits to this gamestop location. The staff is rude and uninformed. If the slightest sliver of good customer service is a strong selling point to you, I do not recommend this gamestop location.

This has got to be the worst GameStop in the area! Service is the worst! Store smells bad inside. I live within a mile of this store and refuse to go in. I’ll go to best buy or go to redlands and go to the game stop there.
