We used to love coming here on our way to Louisiana but now what a rip off! Don’t get me wrong food is good but for the same prize you can get a decent size burger at Whataburger. Fries are delicious but the size of the burgers are the ones that appear in a kid’s menu. I also ordered the wings and they were tiny. Very disappointed!

Ahhhh, the old Checkers. I used to sneak out of class at St. Anne’s to grab fries in middle school. The fries are the tits and can be eaten without ketchup. Which is a pretty big deal. I probably haven’t actually eaten here in about 7 years but I was bored at work decided to Unilocal about my love for Checker’s fries…

This fast food joint is predominately responsible for any weight I gained while in college. I recently visited my old stomping grounds and had to stop by Checkers! The burgers still taste just as good as they did then, and the fries are ridonculously good! It’s probably one of the most fattening fast food restaurants ever but I don’t care! I’m a fan and always will be! So there!

*Rating only for fries Whenever I come back to this side of Texas, I ALWAYS have to stop by checkers. Not for their burgers, or their chicken clubs, or even their hot dogs. It’s for their SEASONEDFRIES! I’ll get a large order of fries(not) to share and it will satisfy my craving and make the 4 ½ hour drive worth it. I know they sell the checkers fries at wal-mart but… it’s just not the same.

Checkers just rocks. Cheap eats. Two drive thrus. The tastiest french fries in the business. And they are right around the corner from my house!
