A Higher Security Locksmith

Great service. I accidentally locked myself out of my house. Searched «Locksmith» on Unilocal and Chris company was the first to pop up. Called him made a appointment same day! Also can’t complain about his prices. Thank you again sir.

I am a little late on posting my review, however A Higher Security Locksmith is #1 in my book. I have a 1980’s lock on my front door and I did not want to replace the whole unit as it is original & I like the way it looks as opposed to my neighbors (Condo’s) who went the fast route & replaced the whole component to a cheaper ugly lock. My lock (cylinder) broke on a Saturday after 5 pm & I called several company’s who wanted to charge a large amount & insisted that I would not be able to find that part. In my frustration & low pocketbook, I ended up «googling» Locksmiths again and found above company. The owner was very nice and asked me to send pictures of the lock/​door handle ect. & stated that he could come out or I could go in to his shop on Monday as he could more than likely fix my lock component/​cylinder as he deals with a lot of 1980’s homes/​locks in the Beaumont/​Banning area. As I was trying to save money I chose to go to his shop in Beaumont (I live in San Bernardino). It is a family run business & I was immediately comfortable. Christopher and his wife took the utmost care of me. He was able to repair my lock cylinder & re-​key it and I was able to go home and reinstall it myself (and even when I had problems with the installation, I called Christopher & he walked me thru the process!!!). As a single woman you always have to be on guard as to not be taken advantage of !! Christopher Abeyta took extreme great care of me and my lock works like it is brand new & therefore I was able to keep my original lock/​hardware/​handle. Mr. Abeyta did not try to sell me something that I didn’t need & I appreciate that. I highly recommend his company, as I was treated fairly, honestly & with integrity. Great Service. My sister got us locked out of the her house and Christopher came out and got us in within 5 minutes. Such a life saver!!!

ABSOLUTE HORRIBLE costumer service! I would never recommend them in a 1000 years. Had an appt booked with them and ended up needing to pull back and cancel their services after two terrible conversations with the owners wife. She was extremely rude when u tried to change my time… very unprofessional… talking badly about me to her husband thinking I couldnt hear her. I am still in shock. I told the man how disappointed I was in her words and actions toward me the past 2 days and he told me to watch my mouth because that was his wife. Extremely horrible company.

Took our key to be copied at Home Depot and they couldn’t copy it, so we were referred to A Higher Security and they copied it with no problem, this couple does and amazing job with a fair price, they have integrity! and even had pepper spray my daughter was looking for to purchase.

This place is great. Chris and his wife were very helpful. I found myself a new locksmith and will be reccomending this place to all my family and friends.

Had keys made, very resonable prices. Has a variety of safes in stock. Excellent customer service!
