This is a well kept cemetery in the middle of nowhere. It has a lot of Revolutionary War and Civil War soldiers laid to rest here. Other notables would be the original family members of Poolesville and the first victim of the sniper shooting in 2002.
It is a little hilly, but there is a lot of shade with many plots available which I was quite surprised considering this cemetery has been open since the mid 1700s!
