Judge Judy has asked, «you know when a teen is lying? When their mouth is open.» The same with this dealer. Stopped in and was told about the 2000 Honda insight, full of dings probably from driving gravel roads. Cost? $ 4000. Mileage? 200,000. I was unfamiliar with the car so I said I needed to research it. He had told the customer before me that he had no business cards so I didnt bother to ask. What kind of operation is this? A week later I went on his website and saw the car listed there. Cost? $ 5000, no mileage listed. No hours listed on the page for hours. I emailed through the site. No reply. A week later I stopped in again. Same guy was busy with a customer inside. Walked in and was not greeted. Place is a run down house. Not very clean. There were no hours listed on the door. In the top of the window above his desk was a small piece of paper with hours on it. You don’t see that from the outside. I have been there 3 times now and have never seen the hours. He was completing the paperwork for a sale. He told the buyer his prices were low because he is out in the boonies and that is how he gets people to come out this far. He was also complaining about the lack of dealer plates claiming after the owner put most of them on personal cars there were only 2 left for the dealership and if one was out on a test drive and one on a car in the shop, he has to refuse customers a test ride. Now how long are test drives anyway that a buyer would not want to wait a couple of minutes? His conclusion was that he likes customers to call first. What? This is not a restaurant needing reservations! When it was my turn, I reminded him that I had been there 2 weeks before. I mentioned I had emailed and he said he he always replies and right now he had 53 emails. So that means what? All I know is that in 1 week he had never replied to mine. He asked why hadn’t I called or stopped in sooner. I said that when he never returned my email I didn’t think he was very interested in selling me a car. I asked him why the price had increased. He said that when I was there before he just threw a price out there. So that is how pricing is done! Silly me, I thought it was all about the market and the car’s value. I said I was there for a test drive, he told me that the car had a broken windshield and he was getting it fixed. I asked why if the car had been there at least 2 weeks it had not been done. He said he was researching the price, but it was going to be fixed Monday and Tuesday it would have the safety inspection so if I would stop by or call it would be ready Wednesday. He kept repeating call. He never asked for my name or phone to give a call when the car was each. That Friday I did call during business hours. Left a message. No return call. The next week I was out of state. A few days after I returned I checked his site, the car was still on it. I drove past on my way home and stopped. There was a crumpled note on the door saying no one was in, but to ask the lot attendant for help or call. Well there was no lot attendant in sight. I saw the car. No new windshield and a failed inspection sticker. The strange thing is that I saw no crack or ding in the windshield either. Just as I had not the first time I had been there. So how many lies had I been told? Oh and the great pricing to drive the customers to the boonies? The car black book fair trade in is $ 1,375 remember the dings, 200,000+ miles and a failed inspection.
ave. dealer price states $ 2,450, NADA clean is $ 4350. He’d told me $ 4000, then it went to $ 5000. And right now the price is $ 7000, but «sale» priced at $ 5000. Other dealers have the same car, newer years by 1 or 2 and at least 50,000 miles fewer priced at $ 5000 or less. Where is the great pricing? Not at NVA motors that’s for sure and neither am I and neither should you be. This dealer is the epitome of the typical rip off used car dealer.

If you want to save yourself a ton of money and don’t mind a drive, this is your best place. Wonderful selection of cars and honest to deal with. These two items don’t normally go together. AJ is great to deal with and does his best to make your experience second to none.

AJ the sales guy is a good person. he will help you get into a good reliable used vehicle that will last you a long time. My friend purchase a vehicle from there and its been running great ever since she got it. Just like brand new. The payments are reasonable and can fit anyone’s budget! I joined Unilocal just to write this review. We purchased a 2011 Nissan Altima in January 2012 from Northern Va Motors. We worked with AJ who informed us that the car had previously been in an accident but assured us that it was a very minor one and it had been fully repaired by Nissan. We were told that the car’s warranty was void because it had been in an accident. Less than a month after purchasing, we had a fluke hot day and I found that the AC wasn’t working. I immediately emailed AJ about it and he didn’t even bother relplying. We had a fair amount of communication via email before (he was being extremely difficult and taking forever to send us the title) so I know that the email address works. We ended up finding out that there is a kink in the metal refrigeration line and it needs to be replaced — no cheap task. The worst news is the part is on back order with no projected availability date from Nissan. After a month of waiting on the part, there is still no word from Nissan. No fun with two young kids and a 6 week old infant in the VA heat! I just am disgusted that AJ lied to our face about the car and withheld the info about the AC from us and then ignores me when I bring it to his attention. STAY AWAY. EXTREMELY DISHONEST!!!
