I didn’t get fancy, I asked the(very nice) kid at the counter to give me their version of a Fudgesicle, he did, and I started to eat it while walking down Main Street and got emotional! Beyond excellent, worth the price, and I’m hoping they still have the lime and coconut one the next time I’m there, that’s next on the list.

I have now had Cookies and Cream, Blueberry Pie, and the Better than Reeses pops. They are seriously delicious pops. Just two bones to pick. $ 3.50 a pop and cash only sort of stink.

We enjoyed their Popsicles at their stand at Walkway Over the Hudson Park. Amazing! We liked the passion fruit strawberry best.

Phenomenal! The owner is so amazing! We love Zora Dora! I’ve taken my husky here two days in a row now and we’re hooked! I can’t wait to take all my family and friends from MD. The owner even brought out my dog a bowl of water since it was such a hot day! So sweet! Oh and their pops are great! I had the peanut butter banana and the coconut lime! Both were so delicious! I recommend Zora Dora so much! Best place on Main Street! Worth the 45min drive I take to get here!

Really great fruit and ice cream pops. Got myself a salted caramel. Smooth and creamy with just the right mix of sweet and saltiness. Friend got a strawberry basil which was also very good. Came back to visit a few month later but seems like they’re only open for the summer season. Moderately expensive for Popsicles, but totally worth the homemade flavors. Note: They only take cash. Just to let people know.

A little pricey for a popsicle, but there are tons of flavor options including Mango, Cookies and Cream, etc. Not sure why I went with Green Goddess(beet juice, mango, jalapeño, and some other things) when there were clearly safer bets on the menu. My popsicle was«interesting» and had a bit of a kick because of the jalapeño. I think I agree with some of the other reviewers… some flavors may be awesome but some are misses. If I return I’ll be trying one of the safer flavors.

Better Than Reese’s really was better than Reese’s. I didn’t even think that was possible. Damn. 5 stars, no questions.

Excellent snack. Creative flavor combinations. Informative staff. Good vibe. Outdoor seating. Non dairy chocolate flavors are surprisingly excellent. Lots of zesty flavor variations(chiles, ginger, mint). We live nearby and do most of our shopping in Beacon, and every time we drive through we stop for a pop. Highly recommend it.

I was hankering for a post-Bannerman Castle snack and spotted Zora Dora’s. Ranging from classic to unconventional combinations, the menu surprised me.(Fortunately, the guy behind the counter was patient, as he’s surely seen many people oogle the menu options before.) Then, I really shocked myself when I resisted the decadent-sounding dessert ones and opted for the roasted beet, goat cheese and walnut pop. It had a touch of sweetness and all the ingredients shined. Never did I think this would be a frozen food combination, but I’m glad it was. Everyone in and around the store looked pleased with their popsicles too.

Had the«Seriously» Popsicle. It was delicious and refreshing. It is made with mango, pineapple, chia seeds, beets, kale, and ginger. Soo good and the customer service was great. I would recommend trying this place out.

first time to write a review on Unilocal and Zora Dora really makes me to do it! They have mojito flavor! What more do I need to say? The only thing I hate is it takes 90 mins to travel from NYC to Beacon. gosh!

This place rocked!!! My boyfriend and I stopped in here after a very lackluster meal down the street at Poppy’s burgers. We were feeling kind of down, but as soon as we tried these delicious popsicles, it turned our day around, lol. What can I say… Amazing. There are so many flavors to choose from. Actually, that’s my only complaint. There are so many you want to try, it may take a while to choose. I got a «Milk» flavor(Hudson Valley coffee) and bf got a «Sorbet» flavor. Def will be coming back here next time we are in the area.

I’d consider moving to Beacon to be closer to Zora Dora. I’m not kidding… We love these popsicles so much that we had them in lieu of favors at our wedding. Who really uses that crap anyway, popsicles are where it’s at! Not only were they a HUGE hit with our guests, working with Steve was a dream. I was a bit of a procrastinating bride and called him a mere week before the wedding to see if he could pull it off for us. No problem, he offered to make whatever we wanted. When our venue informed us they wouldn’t have any freezer room for them, Steve gave us a huge cooler to store them in. Finally, when I had to pick them up at 10am before the shop even opened, he opened early just for us. He never made us feel like we were bothering or burdening him. You don’t find that sort of hospitality just anywhere. Even besides the awesomeness of the owner, the popsicles are SO good. All summer I’ve been making excuses to go to Beacon just so we can pop into ZD, and believe me, it’s not a quick drive for us. My new favorite is the Saffron, Pistachio and Roasted Banana, though I have never had a single one I didn’t enjoy.

Zora Dora’s Micro Batch Ice Cream and Paletas Vanilla Beet Pumpkin Chipotle Chunk Cucumber Mint Chili …these are ice cream and sorbet flavors? There are many places that try to do the eclectic & surprising ice cream flavor thing, and it usually ends up being more«um, interesting» than«mmm, good.» Zora Dora’s is much more in the latter category, though may have a little bit of the former for some people. You go in and it has the sensibilities of a happy, no-nonsense Middle America ice cream shop. Colorful and quaint and perfect to bring your kids to. Hopefully, though, you applied molecular gastronomy practices to create your kids’ baby formula. The flavor choices for the popsicles and sorbet here have a true experimental, kinda ascetic feel. They bring some pretty funky flavors together, but nothing seemed random or silly. The choices seemed made by folks who really knew food, not just ice cream. And they don’t pull punches with creaming it up to soften intense flavors. I got the Thai Peanut popsicle, which tasted, well, exactly like frozen Thai Peanut. I tend to like creamier, richer ice cream, like the Fosselman’s in L.A. or some of the stuff at Handel’s Ice Cream chain, so I personally would have liked it softened a little. But if you like audacious, smart flavor choices with a bit of a purist bent, this place will be Ice Cream/Sorbet Valhalla. Zora Dora’s is a special place, for sure. If you are doing a drive up the Hudson to see Autumn leaves(if you aren’t, what the Hell’s wrong with you!!!), a visit to this Center for Ice Cream Experimentation would be smart. Amazing $ 3 popsicles!!! CAS had the Meadowlark Lemon. He raved about it. Wife had the Almond Joy. Tasted just like the candy bar… delicious. I went for the watermelon, mango and ginger. WOW!!! I can’t wait to return to Beacon to visit CAS… and have another popsicle.

Fifth time is the charm! Finally made it to the other side of the door-a of Zora Dora’s and glad I did. I had one of their Texas Red Grapefruit, Ginger and Honey non-dairy popsicles. The owner makes them himself and is super nice. Now that they are back open for the season, I will be seeing the other side of that door quite often. I am really looking forward to trying some more of their unusual flavors like the Beetsicle… Hot stuff!

Ever since I licked a dark chocolate ice cream popsicle, I just have to keep coming back. The owner makes homemade ice cream and sorbet popsicles with some wacky flavors. I tried the vanilla beet popsicle. It was interesting, a vanilla popsicle dipped in roasted beet purée. It was more vanilla, than beet. But, it wasn’t bad. I prefer the owner’s cream-sicles over his sorbet pops. The popsicles have the perfect creaminess. The paletaria is not open during the winter. It opened up again in April.
