Abscission Precision

Truth be told this is my first ever Unilocal review but this barber shop deserves the props. I am extremely particular when it comes to barber shops. For example, before I found Abscission I tried a number of places in the valley that were sub par, thus I would make day trips to Brooklyn to get my hair cut. With that said, Abscission is the best barber shop I have ever been to. Stone has cut my hair twice now and I thought the first hair cut he gave me couldn’t be topped. I was wrong. I’m sticking with Stone because he is damn good and I’m a creature of habit, but I’ve seen the final product of the other barbers and those cuts were just as amazing. I have to comment on the vibe of the joint as well. Not only does every barber make you feel at home but the old school hip hop and r&b combined with the camaraderie amongst all of the barbers makes for the best experience. I am extremely happy at having found what I consider to be the best barber shop ever and suggest that you all treat yourselves and hit up Abscission.

Amazing barbershop, I just walked in today during my visit in Beacon.
I waited only a couple of minutes and Darrell took care of me.
He really took his time and paid attention to every detail. He gave me an amazing haircut and the best close shave !
Everyone was super friendly, funny and welcoming .
Will be back for sure whenever I am in Beacon !

My son just just got his hair cut and beard trimmed. Looks fantastic. So much so that I will be trying it next time I need a cut. If they added a hot shave… perfection!

Justin, Darrell, Stone and Viejo rule the day. Beacon’s needed a solid barbershop for years and this place definitely stands up. I work in the city but I get my hair cut here.
