Manicure review. I was in town for a wedding and the other nail salon in the mall wreaked of fumes so I came here. The manicure is $ 27 – ouch. For the record, this is natural nails, no gel just regular polish. In an emergency you do what you gotta do, right? No half stepping to weddings. The service– the manicurist was competent. There were maybe 30 colors to choose from. We sat between hair booths at a low table with a cushioned chair, you know just like the ones you see at a cheap nail salon? What I was shocked by is there’s absolutely no massage or moisturizing the hands. I know that’s a standard part of a manicure. As I’m starting to think to myself, this is feeling like a very high priced polish change instead of an actual manicure, I was quickly whisked away to an empty hair station. Why? To dry my nails. She plugged in a nail dryer and told me to hit 2 buttons several times to keep the dryer going.(wtf-am I the one working here or not?) All and all, the nails looked good but for $ 27 I expected the standard service I get a the cheap nail salons, that’s right massage my arms and hands with moisturizer, and don’t put me to work while I am there.

I’ve been using services provided by stylist Maria for a while now. She is miss excellence to say the least! Perfect sense of hair style that will match you, great hair color technics and wonderful personality. In overall outstanding customer service that you will definetly get there.

Im not surprised Dino has such a poor rating; our mom was a frequent visitor to the Beachwood salon for years and when she passed away we came to return some of the unopened products she had recently purchased only to be dismissed callously by a markedly unsympathetic receptionist and manager Shame on you for your lack of compassion! you’ve tarnished a place that was one of our mom’s most sacred weekly routines that made her feel good whilst she was ill. Awful

I wanted to give this place a try after my friend had a good experience with the stylist and decided to buy a Groupon for my first try. I showed up waiting 15 min for my appointment with Deana. I requested a layered look. She took me to wash my hair and my neck was cramped from the hard ceramic sink and she left me, luckily with a neck roll, for the hair conditioning. She returned after ~10 min and I smelled cigarette smoke on her hands. Throughout my cut, I smelled the smoke and would’ve appreciated it if there was gum or hand-washing before she returned to touch my hair. The black gowns are barely waterproof and my wet hair soaked through the gown and soaked my cardigan. When I requested a towel to soak up my cardigan, she swapped out the gown and I continued to sit there in a cold wet cardigan while with a cold. Towards the end of the 45 min(for which I was scheduled for 1 hour), the dark-haired receptionist interrupted twice to remind Deana that the next client was here, which I don’t know how it wouldn’t rush a stylist to hurry up. When I went to check out, I tried to present the Groupon and was told by the same dark-haired receptionist that it was unable to be accepted and that it was only for basic designers and not senior designers. Sorry, I didn’t know there was a difference in levels(never been asked what level I wanted and been told there was a difference in prices) was charged $ 48 for a master designer level, $ 6 more than what she was listed for on the website, $ 42 for a senior designer. When I mentioned that my dry-clean cardigan was soaking wet, the receptionist responded that it was just water and not chemicals. Then proceeded to repeat that again when I remained silent and told her that I wasn’t interested in getting in an argument. Getting to the root of the problem as well, my layered look was not great. I’ve requested a layered cut for over 10 years now and never been as disappointed as this day. The layers are uneven, the front locks are longer than the back locks in the front. The hair was not«thinned out» as much I wanted. I was rushed out of there when the appointment was started late. I left very disappointed. At least Groupon was able to refund me the deal. So to sum up the experience: — surprise charges — rude front desk receptionist who interrupts your hair appointment to rush your stylist(seems like every other post is about this and my friend also mentioned this) — overpriced charges for sub-par work — isn’t the layered look a more basic haircut? — clean environment/floor but stylist smelled of smoke in her hands and the gown is not water proof, so maybe wear a waterproof jacket under this so your clothes don’t get wet The Colorist Bar and Salon offers a paraffin hand wax and is a much more pleasant experience, not perfect, but scores above this salon. Update: I did call to inquire about the charge difference and the inaccurate website and luckily was able to get the $ 6 refunded. It required 4 phone calls returned but it did happen, so that’s a redeeming factor.

Color is terrible… i had to go back and she put a toner on it. It still looked yellow and was not highlighted to my roots. front desk has an attitude. They are very unprofessional and the salon is over crowded. I will never go back here!

I had a senior stylist cut my hair and for highlights(total $ 165+). The haircut was okay, but the colors did not come out. When I called the next day to inform, the receptionist gave me attitude when making another appointment to redo the highlights as if it’s my fault. I had to pay another $ 35 for styling, plus tips, not to mention double damage on my hair.

The groupon makes this place a good deal. For 29 $ i had a conditioning treatment and haircut and am happy with the results. The regular pricing is 38 $ so I think Ladies and Gentlemen is Legacy Village will still be my preferred haircut salon because they use Aveda products and do complimentary mini facials and hand massages. If you do book at Dino after groupon they will give you 10 $ future appointment.

Stylist was very nice and talkative but did not understand how to cut my hair. I like my hair cut into a sharp V, she couldn’t do more than make it rounded. She did a good job on my Kim Kardashian Bang. She also did not cut too much off but that may bc I threaten stylists with causing a scene of they cut more than instructed. The moisturizing treatment was very lovely and left my hair shiny for about 2 weeks. The overall experience was average.

I always enjoy my day here — it is a great pampering experience. The massage was exceptional — I came out feeling like a new person! This was my first time getting a massage and I am sure to come back. The only confusion was that I had a groupon which they booked me for the wrong treatment, and that I was unable to use… Also, it was the last day it was available :(Hopefully I will be able to use it next time for the amount I paid for it!)

Went here for the first time for some hair conditioning and trimming. I felt so lucky to have the chance to book an appointment on a Saturday because everyone knows that the weekends are always the busiest times to get anything done. I had Melissa C. do my hair and boy did she not waste any time. I got in there and got out! I absolutely loved it! Right when I checked in, she grabbed me right away! I was just thinking in my head«INSTANTSERVICE! YESPLEASE!» I felt like she was a bit nervous or stressed out during my appointment which is why I’m giving this a 4 star rating. I don’t know what goes on in her day, but I just hope she learns to relax and trust her skills. She is truly amazing and friendly! I felt like she was a bit shy with cutting my hair, since all she wanted to do was please me and not cut too much off. But after I talked to her about what I wanted she did exactly what I asked her to do and styled it to my preference. I was so completely satisfied with my service, I would not mind coming back again. I will also recommend her to anyone who is looking for some layers and volume. She knows her stuff!

The new salon at eton-run away don’t walk. The stylists colored my hair orange, not as i requested i might add, i wanted simple highlights like i walked in with and it turned out i had orange bozo the clown hair-totally disgusting, went back 3 days later, had another stylist tone the color down-they just simply don’t know hat the are doing over there. if you go to dino palmieri go to laplace or beachwood and ask for jaime-he is the best, does listen to you and offer suggestions, but would never make you look ashamed to be out in public. shame on eton.

I did not have a good experience with this salon. I came in on time for my appointment, but they had to move my time to 30 min later and changed stylists on me. The guy who cut my hair cut 1 blunt layer in the back so I only had 2 hair lengths in the back. Then he refused to cut my bangs the way I requested. I just went somewhere else to trim my bands and the stylist I was working with asked me if she could do something about my hair — for free. I wouldn’t recommend this salon.

This is my old salon! If Dawn is still here, she does great women’s cuts and color. Full high-lights, cut, and style for about $ 150. Of the 12 or so Dino Palmieri salons, this one has the best staff. I’d recommend booking a few weeks in advance to get the best stylists.
