North Shore Lawn Care and Small Engine

After moving from Chicago to the great «up north» winter hit. Unlike our city home, we now have a massive driveway, with massive amounts of snow. You can not NOT have a snowblower for this, unless you are strong like a bull. While I own a snowblower, when I went out to start cleaning Mother Nature’s cold wet hissy fit that was all over the ground, my snowblower threw a fit of it’s own, and ditched me on our first rendezvous in our new home.
Not having had to deal with a DOA snowblower in this area, I asked our neighbors if they could recommend anyone to help resuscitate my poor friend. While my neighbors typically would not get a great review from me if I could Unilocal them, they were helpful this time and provided the number for North Shore.
James was extremely polite and pleasant despite my having no idea why my snowblower and I were no longer on speaking terms, and even came and picked the carcass up to take it in. Needless to say I was pleased as punch to not have to try to move that thing around on my own! (If you ever need a laugh, you should watch me try to maneuver it while cleaning the darn driveway!)
I was quite surprised to get a call back the next day telling me that everything was done, and my red snow baby was ready to be returned to me. Yes, returned to me. The price was good, the service was great, and now I’m throwing snow like the best of them! (Well, not quite the BEST of them, I’m still ill practiced at the art of effective snow removal.)
The point is, I HIGHLY recommend North Shore, and will be calling them again before the grass starts growing to have my lawn mower checked out.
