Love their products, love their fresh food, and love that they are small business. Here is the problem, I can’t believe no one has wrote about this before, the service is unbearably slow. Every time I come in, about twice a month, it is understaffed and the time it takes to have someone ring you up is just ridiculous. Why do I keep coming in? I go in because I really want them to succeed. Please work on training staff to acknowledge a customer when they come in, ask if you can help, don’t turn your back if your overwhelmed, train staff to know what you carry, ask staff not to hide in the back, if your out of something then please note it on menu, and, lastly, be sure you sell only fresh pastries. I wish you all the success in the world and I know it will happen with more focus on the customer.

darling little tea shop, great forms girls afternoon, without kids, OMG we are out of the house, kind of a thing. I love the lavender tea latte… like a meringue tea, treat. Tried my friend’s golden milk and it was delicious also. I’ve used their comfrey and their vapor rub salves for years on my kids. I smear that comfrey stuff on everything! Bug bites, diaper rash… whatever! Love it. Love them. Love keeping it local.

Everything is yummy but it took 30 mins to make my burrito and I was the only person there. The phone number attached to Google is disconnected so you can’t even call it in.

Locally owned & run, this is a deliciously scented shop. The variables are teas, herbs, candles, soups, moisturizers & bath salts. The have dried rose petals by the pound for sweet soothing baths at home. The owner’s daughter was cooking when I walked in & as I went to pay she asked me if I wanted to taste«a lemon bar?» Then when I looked dubious she flat out said, «You want to taste THIS lemon bar.» Well, then, yes indeed, I guess I will. Boy! She was not exaggerating! That’s the best lemon anything I’ve ever tasted in all my life. It’s called a Sunflower Seed Coconut Lemon Bar. And, yes, you absolutely have to try this at least once while in in Los Osos!

I love having the choice of an organic coffee shop in Los Osos. What a treat! I have two favorite breakfast items. The«Joyful Burrito», eggs, potatoes, pepper jack cheese, corn & onions… pan seared, the warm toasted tortilla. Yum. I add avocado. My second is the Sweet potato scramble… Well there both becoming an addiction. The drip coffee is good. I treat myself a couple of times a week with a vanilla bean almond milk latte or the Dirty Chai Latte. Definitely give Native a try!!!

Pros: Good food + drinks made with quality ingredients. Good selection of herbs, loose leaf teas and homemade soaps. Cute shop. Cons: No wireless. Unfriendly costumer service. Disgruntled owner. Overall: After experiencing the customer service go down hill over the past few months, I won’t be returning until they revamp their guest experience. I can buy great quality local products anywhere — we live in the land of awesome local goods! I choose to give my business to shops with both quality products and friendly service from employees willing to educate, answer questions + personalize my experience. I hope to see some changes so my family and I can support this local business again!

Great for coffee and tea lovers! I ordered an Earl Grey tea and the sweet owner said he could make it into a soy latte with honey for me. What?! It was like he read my mind and made me a most delicious beverage. Their lemon bars are amazing and my husband is in love with their cinnamon rolls. They offer organic half and half for their coffee and have a delicious menu of farm fresh foods. If you need bulk spices or teas, this is the place to go. They also sell honey, homemade soaps, salves, candles, and offer classes on how to make them. Skip Starbucks and head to this cute café instead.

Sweet! I’m so happy I stopped in to Native Herb & Honey right here in Los Osos. It has a wonderful energy, as others have mentioned. The products are beautifully packaged and displayed. Bulk herbs and spices, wonderful salves and soaps, incense, coffee and teas, and homemade fresh baked goodies(I had a warm strawberry scone, Yummy!) Check them out, you won’t be disappointed!

I dropped by on a whim because I needed a coffee on the way out of town. We don’t really have a great little shop in Los Osos so I gave it a go. I found my new home. While lacking in the ambience of location, it makes up for in character. The women working at the shop were super personable, it felt like family. In fact, one of the staff had dropped off a framed news article for them because they ARE family to the regulars. I picked up some tea supplies and a batch of cinnamon rolls that were AWESOME. It’s going to definitely be my town coffee shop/breakfast joint from now on.

This is by far the best little secret out there that everyone needs to know about, and experience. From their fine homemade soaps, teas, and now pastries with breakfast and lunch being served. On the weekends Violet, the owner, makes a delicious frittata. Different ones each weekend. Everything is fresh and organic. Her baked goods are top quality. If you like lemon, a must to try is her lemon bars. If your a coffee drinker, there’s some fine brews daily. The owners and staff are all so sweet and helpful. The atmosphere is charming and relaxing. You won’t be disappointed. Stop in! Anything you get will not disappoint you and a guarantee you will return. It’s a gem of a place. A must to try.

Native is incredible. The staff is so nice and welcoming, and extremely accommodating. The woman eating next to us had dietary restrictions, so the owner made her a custom salad. They offered us samples of the daily soup and were just overall so great. The cinnamon rolls are incredible– the frosting is perfect– and the golden milk latte is to die for! The soaps are also really great, and they have tons of herbs in bulk. Not to mention delicious honey! I am so happy Native is now part of our community. I will be eating here as often as I can!

I love native soap and tea store. All the products are handmade with care. I get my black and chai teas here. I also just started buying my soaps here. I purchased the go go goat milk soap gardenia. Super soft on the skin and smells absolutely divine! I value that the products are organic and chemical free. Cheers!
