I love the store on Garth Rd. and can’t wait for the new one, but I live by the old one on the South side. They don’t have as much of a selection due to the size of the store, and the way things are situated makes little to no sense. Also, by the time you get used to the layout, they rearrange the whole store and claim it’s for marketing purposes. How frustrating?

Kroger should just hire me part time. I’m in that place atleast 3 – 4 times a week. They have a wonderful selection of wine. Their produce is fresh and they offer organic and cage free products. They also have a sushi Kiosk and the sushi is made fresh daily. Don’t you dare tell the sushi chef that its not fresh. She will put you in your place. Yes, she did it to me. The sushi was made probably an hour earlier but I wanted one done that moment and saw she was working on some new rolls, so i told her I would wait. She prepared and packaged some sushi with no problem. This Kroger location is not very big but its convenient. I also have the shoppers card so once you register it online and download the APP you can download coupons and they have Free Fridays. Every Friday they advertise one item you can get for free and download to your card. Your purchases also accumulate points which can go towards gas purchases. Kroger Cards work at Shell gas stations and usually save you between 10 – 12 cents a gallon. Every few months I get a preferred customer booklets with all kinds of discount coupons and have earned up to 75 $ off one purchase. So I like Kroger. That’s my jam.(you can buy that in Kroger also)

Love this location. Every time I go a member of their staff goes out of their way to make my experience awesome. The most recent time I went I had my two young girls with me, one of them asleep in my arms. You could tell I was struggling and had my hands full trying to get around. At least 4 people asked to help. The manager checked me out really fast and unloaded all my things for me. Such a blessing. Great staff here!!!

I love Kroger! They seem to get a bad reputation in Texas for being expensive, but I’ve found most items comparable to Walmart and HEB. On top of reasonable prices, they offer a lot of variety in a compact space. This location has 2 aisles devoted to organic foods and products at prices cheaper than Whole Foods by far. There’s also a great international aisle as well. They are always stocking new items which matches my desire to try something new and makes shopping more enjoyable. The produce is a great mix of organic and not, so whatever your budget and interest, you can get fresh produce. I really like the self check out(living my little kid dream of being a cashier), and since there are 6, I almost never wait in line. Use the Kroger app to save coupons to your Kroger card. I often do it right before checking out and as long as you scan your Kroger card first, watch the savings add up! Kroger also has a great gas discount program. This location does not have a gas station but pretty much every Shell station also works with the discount. There’s one nearby on Baker Rd. There are lots of useful services as well like water jugs, gift cards, ice bags, Redbox, coinstar, etc… My only negative comment is that the flowers seem very pricy and the meat selection really varies depending on the time of day. Still, just like my previous comments, they have a great mix of organic and not meat as well. Kroger truly makes shopping a pleasure(I know I sound like a commercial but I seriously love shopping here) 24 hours a day!

This store has some major problems. Selections are not the best for some items. For example, if you want 2% sliced American cheese you have exactly one option — Kraft singles. The prices for name brand items of products that have a Kroger brand counterpart are usually higher than normal in an effort to push the generics. I’ve found many expired items on the shelf, sometimes by months. This has been on lunch meats, dry good, but mostly in the dairy section. One time, all of the«fresh» store made salsa was expired by two weeks. I told a stocker who was stocking the case next to it and handed them to him. He then PUTTHEMRIGHTBACKONTHESHELF. Last week there was slimy mold on the lunch meat rack. I didn’t see it until I had to dig past the four expired packages of ham. I wonder where else it is hidden from view. One other annoyance is that after 10pm they turn off all of the freezer lights, the cold cooler lights, the produce lights, and half of the overhead lights. It’s almost like the store is closed and it’s hard to read some of the labels. Unfortunately there are not many other options in Baytown.

Every thing you need is right here! I like this Kroger because they are open 24hrs! You can find almost everything in here! I love the talenti ice cream. It is a bit on the pricey side, but I think it’s worth it. This location had a little sushi bar. I would recommend giving it a try! They are really good!

I don’t care that the store is nice, newly updated, and full of several varieties, that is no excuse for such exorbitant prices. So, I usually only shop here when I’m looking for a particular flavor or variety of food. I visit with a pocket full of money. There are even times that one can speak with the grocery manager, and he will special order whatever may be lacking but wanting. I also enjoy seeing my students working. They are always pleasant, helpful, and excited for someone from their educational lives to see them working.

Nicest grocery store in Baytown and the only place youll find any kind of organic selection. It is probably a little more expensive than the other options.

I’m from the East Coast and this place is WAYYY too expensive for organic food and they lack variety of products that are organic eg: soy, tofu, meats, veggies, drinks. Also, the aisles don’t look clean at all! But I have a feeling that this Kroger might just be a little old — I’ll keep my review on the products, price, and quality of service. First of all, I pay on average of 0.50 to $ 1 more on anything in here! I thought NYC was expensive, but this place is ridiculous! Sushi, was surprisingly amazing and fresh! I am a sushi lover and part of my hobbies is to go to various restaurants to compare their foods. I would give the sushi at Kroger’s 3.75÷5. This is compared from my experience from the sushi restaurants in Baytown.(Those were terrible, badly made, small portions, high price, and they lack the usual staples in a sushi restaurants: miso soup, kani salad, etc — I’ll review those restaurants later. But for now, expect those sushi restaurants to receive a 1⁄5). Conclusion: This place needs to revamp. Way too expensive, hands down.
