HELLO All Five Star Dry Cleaner Users of Mont Belvieu:
After three months of back and forth with this company, I am now being offered $ 50 for a $ 400 dress I wore once.
After taking my dress to this cleaner, which I used frequently in the past, it was returned to me with streaks all down it. Being a reasonable person, my mom took it back to the cleaner and requested a second cleaning to remove the streaks. After numerous tries, the streaks are still there, rendering the dress unusable.
Mr. Waller, this is my question for you. If you bought a $ 400 suit, wore it once, and I spilled something on it that could not be removed, would you be happy if I said «oh well, here is $ 50 bucks?» I think not.
I have recommended your business to numerous people in the community and made you profits well over the $ 100 we have been asking in compensation for the ruined dress. I would think that in such a small community, the reputation of your business might be a little more important to you. I always thought that in Mont Belvieu, we would learn to be a little more compassionate to others.
All in all, Five Star Cleaners ruined something of mine that was supposed to be returned cleaner than it was left. This did not happen. I understand mistakes happen, and that is ok. The lack of attention, sincerity and genuine desire to right the wrongs of your product is very disappointing. I would recommend your business to no one, by your conduct alone.
