Will not go back due to slow service and unclean tables. The food was not bad it was just not easy to enjoy due to the condition of the restaurant

Love this place. Eat there at least once a week. Some times the service isn’t as quick but the food is always great. Every once in a while a language barrier but willing to deal with it because everyone is so nice. Ecstatic that the Thai Tea is always fresh.

I love this place. My coworkers and I eat here at least once a week. The staff is really nice and the food is always fresh. The service is slow but worth the wait. We usually call ahead.

My husband & I drove to Baytown for business(we had never been before) and we stopped in for lunch at Baytown Sandwich & Noodle House. The young man who waited on us was friendly and eager, though rough around the edges(for example when my husband asked where the restroom was, he jokingly told him to go outside to pee in the bushes; also he kept pushing a beef menu item on us even after we said we didn’t want it multiple times). When it was time to order, my husband & I selected main dishes off the menu and each time we were told the restaurant either ran out or they no longer served that item. We went through 4 different entrees and were told, no… no…no…and no.(We felt like we were in an episode of I Love Lucy!) In desperation to find something that they still made, I ordered the Singapore Noodles. The Singapore Noodles was one of the 15 or so items pictured as specials in large photographs over the counter. I’ve had Singapore Noodles many times at various restaurants, so I knew what to expect, plus THEREWAS A LARGER-THAN-LIFESIZEPHOTOGRAPH of the dish. But the waiter insisted that the Singapore Noodles was the same as a noodle soup dish on the menu by a different name(I can’t remember the name). So I ordered it, not believing him, but not knowing what else to do since they had very little else available, and I had ordered this other dish at a local noodle house in The Woodlands and had liked it. My husband ordered a mixed-protein lo mien(shrimp, chicken, etc.). When the dishes came out, mine, of course, was not Singapore Noodles, and it didn’t look anything like the Singapore Noodles pictured in their sign. Also, it didn’t contain the same proteins(shrimp, pork, etc.) listed for either the Singapore Noodles OR the noodle soup listed on the menu. The broth for my soup was very good, and the noodles were good(I ate almost all of both), but the proteins were awful. Artificial crab stick, artificial fish balls, artificial compressed bits… gross. Why make a lovely stock only to junk it up with artificial seafood? I would have gladly paid more to have shrimp and/or pork in it. My husband’s lo mein was terrible. Some of the protein bits tasted rancid(maybe that’s why they didn’t put them in my soup?) Also the lo mien was overly sweet. In the end, I can’t decide if I want to give this place one or two stars. In either case, we won’t be back. On the positive side, our waiter, despite being rough around the edges, did try hard to please and was friendly. Also, the broth in the soup was very good. But the negatives were too much: very few menu items available; I ordered one item and got something completely different; proteins in my soup all artificial seafood and inedible; proteins in my husband’s lo mien rancid; restaurant had a dirty, greasy feel to it; no toilet paper in the ladies room.

While this place is certainly not fancy and perhaps a bit on the unkempt side, I still really enjoy coming here. The phở here is one of the best I’ve tried and I’ve been to several Vietnamese restaurants in the Bellaire part of Houston. I admit the service is also not up to standard, which is why I knocked off a star, but that’s why I only come here when I have some time to kill and good company along to talk to while we wait. I also don’t come here for the atmosphere, which admittedly is not that great, just when I’m craving some wonderful phở and don’t feel like driving 30 miles or more to get it. I’d give it 3.5 stars if I could overall.

Went there considering I love phở and it was the only Vietnamese restaurant in Baytown. Soon as I enter the place, it had a weird smell. Reminded me of something old and dirty. Then ordered phở. It was ok until I saw the cook behind the counter walked outside the front door to lit a cigarette and chatted with another man who was also smoking. Disgusting.

The food is good. Especially considering its the only place around to get phở. However the service is poor. Seems unprofessional and kind of slow. If you don’t mind the wait them it’s not too bad. I continue to eat here regardless of the wait due to their satisfying phở.

I give this place NO stars. Went for lunch with a friend whom I had to talk into trying Phở. 45 min later, still no lunch and drinks only after asking for them 3 times. Awful experience. Flies, dirty floor. Egad!

Horrible service. Only brought out 1 of the 2 meals we ordered after 20plus minute wait and we were the only ones in the place. Fried rice that was brought out was not any good. I will not be back ever!

Flies in the restaurant. Service was ok. Took 30 min. To get one dish(chicken fried rice). Grilled pork and eggroll was ready when we got up to leave. Left a$ 10 bill on the counter only cause we drank 2 soft drinks. My wife said the chicken fried rice was ok. By the way, we were the only people there to be served WTF? Will not be back. Would not recommend this to my worst enemy. Baytown Needs a Good Vietnamese restaurant.

Food: Good phở for the area. No frills phở and bahn mi. Price: What you would expect. Atmosphere: Kind of like an Asian Jason’s Deli…

They need to get their act together. They are open but are only serving about 5% of the items on the menu!
