My wife and I came here for dinner and when we walked in it was a little unsettling because as the dining room was empty. I know it was a Thursday, but still surprising. The bar had a small group of what seems like regulars. We sat down and our waitress gave us menu and drink order. A short while later we ordered our appetizers we shared the«EZ Pickens Patter» and I had the French Onion soup. The soup was delicious, but the EZ Platter was a EPIC fail. The Mozzarella sticks, fried shrimp and chicken fingers all obviously just came from a bag out of the freezer, but the worst part was the still frozen cocktail sauce. This made us a little uneasy as we awaited the arrival of our burgers. We both ordered the Boulevard Burger and upon their arrival they looked really tasty. The looks were confirmed as we tried the burgers we enjoyed them. They are worth the $ 10. If you come here do not have the platter, but go for the soup and burger. There is also a certificate you can get it makes it a real steal.

If you’re looking for a home atmosphere where everyone(even the newbies) are regulars, this is your place. The place really does have a Cheers way about it. It’s just very local place and everyone really makes you feel welcome. The Inn always has a variety of different dinner specials that are interesting, though they seem to rotate the top 10 frequently. My one issue is that sometimes they don’t have certain dishes or sides, but the staff is very accommodating to finding an equal or better fit for their customers.

Small place, very cozy. The bar is partitioned off from the seating area… The French onion soup was awesome, and my friend enjoyed his beef and barley soup… My friend and I both ordered grilled chicken wraps and a 3rd friend ordered the house steak. Our steak friend was satisfied giving it a 7.2 out of 10. His fries looked ehh. Our chicken wraps were much better than we thought they could be… Approaching a 8 out of 10. The hostess Shiela was very attentive. We definitely will come back and try some other options.

This restaurant is very accommodating to special requests and celiac/gluten free needs. The food is tasty – I enjoyed the Greek salad and the Bourbon Steak. The French Onion Soup was excellent, and we appreciated the Mississippi Mud Pie slice they gave us for a birthday in the group. Very convenient for visitors to the nearby nursing home.

We craved a burger and fries and consulted Unilocal. We decided on this place because it was closest. It is a stark and ugly place. No pictures on the walls. Uninspired. Depressing. The waitress was sort of nice in a pale, bland way but ultimately she just kind of blended with the dismal ambiance. So did the burger. So did the fries.

We found this restaurant to have decently priced food but, overall, poor service. We arrived for dinner on a Sunday afternoon. When we arrived, we immediately noticed how dark the lighting was and how cramped the tables and chairs were situated. We were actually seated at the very last table in the restaurant. It took a little while for the sole waitress to come over to our table since she was so busy doing everything else in there. When she wasn’t making drinks, she was making change for patrons. For dinnertime you would think that they would employ at least one more waitress, right? We waited an inordinate amount of time to receive our sodas. Then we waited even longer for our appetizer. I couldn’t believe we waited so long for our meals too. My wife even asked me puzzlingly, «How long does it take to cook two burgers?» The food, beginning with the nachos and ending with the burgers were absolutely delicious. The portions were very generous. We have no complaints there. But, we certainly have complaints about the unwarranted, very slow service. It is primarily because of this deficiency that we will NOT be going back to this restaurant. It is a shame because we live only a couple of miles away and are always trying out nearby restaurants.

I’m a repeat customer. Usually sit at the bar and have something to eat. Burgers and fries are great. So are the salads and wraps. Fried calamari good too. Actually never had anything there that wasn’t very good! Prices are good too.

Great bar, great food, great drinks, great prices. The owner was there last time I went. Funny guy. Don’t come nicer. The bartender on Friday is a pisser. Highly recommend.

I must have passed by this place a thousand times and now I can say I finally went in. Arrived at 1:30 for lunch on Wednesday and there was only 1 table taken with a couple of guys finishing up at the bar. The waitress was very friendly, brought our menus and took our drink orders. We decided to order some burgers, which cost $ 6.95 +$.50 for cheese(or other toppings). The burgers took awhile to come out, considering they were not busy I thought it took a bit too long. The plates arrived and I was surprised to see how large the burger was and that it was accompanied by a large mound of fries. The burger was tasty and quite juicy, the fries were nice and crispy. For the price I it was a steal! All in all I thought it was a good solid burger that is more than worth it’s price.

The Inn is a great neighborhood place to grab some American style food. The menu covers a good selection of burgers, steaks, chops, Italian standbys, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and some top notch appetizers. Everything is good quality and satisfying. The appetizers are top notch, I would recommend the wings or calamari as being some of the best I’ve tried, as well as the French Onion Soup. The menu is moderately priced, with sandwiches and burgers all under $ 10, and a variety of other entrees under $ 20. The restaurant is small but they will typically accommodate groups. I haven’t tried it, but I would recommend calling ahead if going with a large group on a busy night. The bar is fully stocked with drink and beers priced on par with the average for Queens. Seating is available at the bar if you just want drinks, and they’ll also bring food to the bar. Service is friendly and helpful, however it typically seems like food takes longer than average to come out. I suppose this is because everything is make fresh, which is apparent in the quality of the food. Their lunch menu is an exceptionally good value — everything is $ 1 -$ 3 less than on the dinner menu, with the exact same food and portions. They also do a brunch on Sunday mornings/afternoons, with some breakfast foods available, as well as some of the regular menu items, for a fixed price including a drink. If you live in the area and you haven’t tried The Inn, you’re doing yourself an injustice. I doubt you’ll be disappointed.
