If it were not for the ‘I could care less about the customer’ attitude I would give this place 4 – 5 stars. I mean I don’t mind over paying, and that is exactly what you will do at Furci’s…over pay, but over paying and being treated like you are invisible is unacceptable. I have been coming here for years and have let the attitude fly as they generally have a good product. However today I was starving, 30 minutes before close I was craving an Italian hero. What did I get, sorry we just cleaned out slicers. It’s sad when a local business can not go out of the way for its customers. When they cry and complain about competitors I hope they read this and understand why I will take my business elsewhere. Sad day in bayport.

Furcis IS fine food I won’t go into an elaborate review, but I will say you should definitely try these items specifically: (Top 3 fave in no particular order) *Fried artichokes– garlicky delicious *Chicken parm — thin, tender, fresh basil *A spiral pasta salad with chicken, Kale, red onion— dying for this recipe again Everything is on the more expensive side, they have nice meat but you can find nice meat for cheaper in my opinion. As well the pasta is all frozen I’m in search of fresh pasta in the area so I’m not into their frozen stuff, although it all sounds great, it’s hard to resist; what I’ve had, I’ve liked

I have been going to Furcis I guess since it opened 10 plus years. This is one of the best Italians speciality stores and butchers. Everything form the bread to the special dishes are delicious. I just wish they sold a larger selection of vegetables so I could avoid the supermarket. It is just my husband and myself since the kids are grown so Furcis is expensive and not an everyday place to buy meals but I always get the Potatoes crochets when my son Comes home for dinner. I would give Furcis 10 stars. Remember in life you pay for what you get and at Furcis you get top of the line food prepared with top of the line skill and preparation methods. That is why I have been a customer there for so many years. Thanks from the D’Onofrio family

I used to be a huge fan of Furcis, especially in high school during lunch. However, I have to say that mainly because of the price, I have to bump it down a star. If it weren’t for being so pricey, this is a very solid 4 star establishment. I usually get either a chicken parm, or the chicken stroganoff. The hero is usually good, but the stroganoff is absolutely delicious. I would get both of those things mainly in high school too. But over the last years, man, when I go in and order those things… my eyes pop out! If you get a sandwich and a drink, you’re going to be spending 10 bucks. I usually ask for 5 bucks or so of the chicken strog, and that used to be MORE than enough. Now it’s just an ‘eh’ amount. It must have gotten more expensive, otherwise I never would have been able to afford this 5 years ago in high school. I think they have great quality, but man do you pay for it.

Nothing short of the best. The ingredients are top notch best on the market. I go here for the large Italian hero. The large is made with balsamic while the small is made with pesto. I like the balsamic one better. Also the pene chicken stroganoff is killer. And another top dog is the orecchiette with sausage and peas. it has the most pleasing delicate sauce and excellent little sausages. Also a fan of the pene with tuna, different but very good. Have tried alot of other stuff but to me these are the superstars.
