I have to remove a star because a month after the visit, this office is trying to bill me for uncovered services. The thing is, when I was there for the visit, I specifically told the receptionist to call and check with my insurance BEFORE I went in for the exam, so they knew what would be covered. Anyway, I am not paying. My insurance company says the provider signs a contract agreeing to accept the insurance’s payment as payment in full.

Dr Lutz was horrible. Bed side manner was nil and he left me for 30 minutes to see another patient. Received completely different pair of contacts that are way too strong had a headache the entire day I tried them out. Won’t be wasting my time

Had the feeling of something in my eye all day. Called at about 330p to see if they could get me in same day or next. They told me to come right away and fit me in! I did wait in the waiting room for about 30 minutes but I don’t feel it was that bad as a last minute appointment. The front desk gals are great. Really nice, helpful and funny. The Dr was really nice too. He was very thorough and found a small scratch on my eye.

I’ve been misdiagnosed by Dr. Rau. I knew something is not right. Went to a different doctor… and yes! Finally I see. I don’t get how he could determine how bad my eyes are within 3 minutes of testing. No «blinding drops», just regular test, thank you for sucking out of my VSP! Not a specialist!

I’m giving 2 stars because of the poor follow up service from the staff. I got a new prescription and frames and I told them to call me when they arrive, and if possible to speed the delivery. I had to call them the day before my trip to see if my glasses came in yet because they failed to call me. I was told that they came. Since I work, there’s no way for me to pick them up during the work week so I was going to stop by on Saturday, being that they’re open those days. Again, they failed to mention they will be closed on that particular Saturday-leaving my trip abroad with no new glasses and a slight blurry vision. Thanks Palisade!
