Carlo’s HairSpot

After many years of NY salons to cut my hair, my friend from Bayonne suggested I go back to authentic barber cuts. Luckily I chose Carlo’s barber shop in Bayonne. I got Carlo himself and the cut was perfection. He’s a true master with clippers which is not easy. The place is spotless which puts your mind at ease about the equipment. Don’t even think of looking elsewhere this is the real thing. A true #1 Barbershop.

Its my first time here and all I can say is I am very satisfied with my haircut and very kind people. Super clean and relaxing place.

These guys are good. No frills barbershop, quick at what they do. Friendly, smiling, and even when I don’t make an appointment, they find a way to squeeze me in on a busy Saturday.

Both Carlos and Ramone are AMAZING! they take good care of you and spend time rather than rushing things through. I have been going to them for a while and would recommend them to others.

Carlos has been cutting my son’s hair since he was a year old and also cuts mine. Its a family run business as his son Roman also cuts hair. My son is now 6 years old and he will not let anyone else cut his hair. They are both extremely patient barbers. Their shop is very clean, comfortable. They are extremely patient with kids with special needs. I highly recommend them. Appointments are highly suggested as they get really busy Friday and Saturdays.

These guys are a terrific father-​son duo. The both do a great job and their place is comfortable, clean and welcoming.
I’ve tried several barber shops in the area and most of them are rude and unprofessional. Never going back to any of those places after Carlo’s.

Just happen to walk past this and get a service from them. Run by father and son. Service was quick and nice. $ 14 for haircut is not that bad. I am definitely looking forward to come back.
Call before you planned to have haircut. I think they do have appointment thing going on since its a busy and popular shop.

Had an excellent haircut — and it’s hard to get my hair just right. I was afraid to go to «Barber» at first because last time I did and asked for my hair to be «texturized» I got made fun of hahah. But Roman listened and did an amazing job and amazing prices too! Highly recommend!

I recently moved into the Bayonne and was looking for a new Barber after doing some research I decided to try Carlo’s Hairspot. I had the pleasure of Roman cutting my hair and I was very pleased. He was courteous, attentive, and detail oriented. I appreciated the fact that he took his time and gave attention to detail. My experience left me with the impression that Roman understands the importance of customer service as well as providing a good service so that customers return, needles to say he earned mine.

Carlos has been my barber for 10+ years. Over the years, I have grown to consider him a friend. He does great work and I would not go anywhere else. Even after moving out of Bayonne, I travel about 40 miles each way to get my hair cut by Carlos. Highly recommended and he is a TRUE professional.

I have been going to see Carlos for over 5 years and as long as I live within a 50 miles I do not plan to stop! And this is not a joke. Carlos does a great cut and I have never seen a customer unsatisfied with Carlos’ or Roman’s, his son, work. I tell Carlos all the time that if it wasn’t for him I would never get girls because he makes me look young and pretty.
I used to travel 80% of the time for work and there were days that I would fly home on the weekend just to have Carlos do my haircut rather than search on Unilocal for a well rated barber because nobody comes close. I always look presentable (extremely important for my line of business) and make sure that every two weeks I am there for my cut.
Another thing, I cannot remember the number of times that Carlos took after business hours because I was running late. So I’m happy that they have their own business because getting there at 6:45 for the last appointment is not always easy.
They finally have their own spot and within 3 months of business they are doing great. Good for you guys. Customer for life.

We started going to Carlos when he worked at Showcase Hair Salon. We really liked the way he cut both my boys’ hair (now ages 14.5 & 7 years) as well as their dad’s. A few months ago Carlos & his son opened their own shop & we were excited to try it out. We’ve been here several times since they opened & the service is always great. Carlos gives each of the kids the haircut they want (for my little guy it’s the «Alvin haircut» as he calls it which is really just a faux hawk. For my older son it’s the messy Justin Bieber ‘do). The place itself is new, clean, really nicely furnished & has a huge flat screen TV for all you men to watch sports. Prices are really reasonable so nothing negative about coming here. They do lots of men’s & boys haircuts & always do a great job whether the client is 7 or 47. Definitely recommend coming here!
