I held a baby shower here and it was fabulous! Food, Service, atmosphere, everything was terrific. We had a buffet luncheon and they packed up anything that was left and we brought it home. Everyone raved about the food but was over the top about the Strawberry Shortcake we served(as it is my daughters very favorite) Who would have thought in late November you would be able to get such fresh strawberries. Price was reasonable. My sister-in-law is now thinking about throwing a bridal shower here. You won’t be unhappy. Thank you Anthony and staff for making it a memorable event.

We had my daughter’s baby shower here on September 12, 2015. It was a small gathering of about 30 people. I have nothing but good things to say about our event. The food was very good and plentiful, the service was impeccable(thank you Anthony and Amanda(I think) and the rest of the crew) and the price was absolutely manageable. Made-to-order omelets, great sandwiches, really nice salads, plenty of champagne punch and soft drinks(we opted not to have alcohol) and we were able to get in an hour before it started to set up our decorations. I’d also like to acknowledge Lenny, the manager. He was very helpful and available for our questions and various issues. The only reason our experience is not getting 5 stars is because the parking is awful and we all had to run out periodically and move our cars(in a municipal lot!) to avoid being ticketed. Aside from that, the place was great and I highly recommend it as an affordable place to have a really nice occasion.

Went tonight for an anniversary party. Great service, great food, nice ambiance. I love the old-style chandeliers and candleabras, they really make for a nice effect.

Visit Date June 8, 2014 My friend’s hosted their engagement party here. At first I was really excited about it because I heard awesome things about the Milk & Sugar Café(The Victorian Room’s sister room across from the Victorian Room) but as I experienced the party I just considered the Victorian room to be okay. It had good points and decent points. They served a brunch and sadly I didn’t get to have an omelet made so I couldn’t tell you how the eggs were although they did look good. I had some salad, a few appetizers, a bagel, some pastries, cake, cookies, french toast and the waffles. Honestly everything except the cake and one of the cookies I had was just okay. I wouldn’t say it was wonderful. I wasn’t a fan of the doughnut I sampled so I ended up leaving it on the plate. The cake that they served for dessert after brunch was over was very good and they did make the cake themselves, I didn’t like the regular chocolate chip cookie it wasn’t soft enough for my liking but I did like the all chocolate cookie that I had. When everyone sat down to eat the space felt a little better but before they served food everyone was crowded around the party room while appetizers and cocktails were served. I personally hate feeling crowded but I think if you host or attend a smaller party here the space won’t be an issue. The engagement party had a pretty big attendance. When they served the food it was slightly confusing, as far as I know no one on the staff got word out that brunch was ready but maybe they discreetly told a few people and let the word spread that way. At the end of the party it was nice they didn’t rush out the remaining guests to make way for the next party they let everyone linger. After sampling the food I’m not sure I want to try Milk & Sugar café but I did like the décor and atmosphere of the Victorian room and the staff was nice. The coffee was decent too not terrible but not amazing, but as long as I’m not served weak swill that taste like milk or water I’m good with it.

Was at the beautiful Victorian Room for a Christening party. The room was so pretty and«victorian»…the food was delicious and the portions were BIG. When we arrived, they had a really nice veggie and cheese display. They had the most AMAZING artichoke dip. I think I had about 10 serving of that with crackers. The first course had pasta that was delish… and choice of 2 salads; I had the Ceasar and it was really tasty, others had a raspberry walnut salad that they said was also great. Then for my entrée, I ordered the eggplant rolatini… DELISH…and they gave 4 rolatini’s which was very large(usually other places give one or two). Others at my table ordered fish and filet mignon and they all liked their entrees. The desserts were also sooooo good! But most importantly, the service was impeccible. Highly recommend!

This beautifully decorated restaurant was comparable to hopping on a plane for eight or so hours and walking into a restaurant in England. It’s not called Victorian for just a phonetically pleasing sound, but because the atmosphere delivers an other-worldly elegance. I went here for a surprise bridal shower, our party was in the main room, and there were about 50 of us. It was a tad cramped, but we made do and were comfortable. It was a little difficult to maneuver gifts and people around, but there’s nothing a smart group of women can’t accomplish. The fruit champagne served throughout the afternoon was divine. It didn’t taste like the bubbly champagne you’re used to popping on NYE, but it was rather subtle and refreshing, pairing well with the antipasto and veggies. The entrée was buffet style. I believe our party had a cranberry dish, two different kinds of salads, mixed veggies, pineapple pork, chicken marsala, stuffed shells, and delicious DELICIOUS steak. The cranberry dish was meh, and the stuffed shells were pretty awful, but everything else I enjoyed. For dessert there was cookies, brownies, and veggies. The brownies are AMAZING. They are deadly so. I had two and if I wasn’t so full from my main course I would devoured at least a dozen. The Victorian Room is owned by Milk and Sugar, which is across the street, so I’m not sure if you can just go to the Victorian Room for dinner but rather Milk and Sugar.
