Not sure why the low rating but my friends & I came here all of three times… from QUEENS. If there was no reason to return, we wouldn’t have. Get ready for something close to a hot mess, slight dustiness, and rows & rows of shelves. I think that’s the beauty of it. When you see old electronic wires, telephones, toys & comic books, lots of paintings… not all of them in perfect shape, but that’s their story. It takes you back in time when you vaguely remember seeing things like this around the house you grew up in. Even if you wouldn’t find yourself in possession of one now, I think this is an excellent place for amateur film makers, for instance, who wants to get their hands on oldschool props for their projects. My friends got: vintage comic books desk decorations rug earrings clothes I got: jewelry display(for $ 10, where it costs $ 30 everywhere else) painting($ 18WITHFRAME) ~an unforgettable moment~ i don’t know how they got this or how much they’d sell it for, but we found a box of old pictures, like sepia colored, with a handwritten letter. Date was mid-1900’s and written with pencil. Nothing scandalous, but just seeing something like that and running my fingers over the paper gave me goosebumps that each and every single one of these items have a history and a story. It was one of the most touching moments I’ve felt to this day :)

I took a ride to find this place to satisfy my curiosity. I hit two lousy tag sales and figured why not plug this into my GPS. This place is at the ends of the earth and not worth wasting your gas. It’s a shit shop. Just rows of shelves and tables and bins of random worthless shit and crapola. I don’t know which guy is the owner but when someone walks in, say hello. No. Now I’m looking for hidden gems that I can turn. I sell on Poshmark and eBay. It’s just a hobby and I’m only in certain categories, but I know my stuff. IF you live in Bay Shore and want to pick through random junk then go there. Anyone else skip it.

Wow was this place an experience! I have been hearing about this place for a while, but never in my life did I expect what I saw. They have LITERALLY everything from electronics to housewares to even some collectables. I bought a(barely) used Dewalt impact drill for $ 80 with a charger. Also brought in two old cell phones which were laying around the house. They gave me a decent amount of money and store credit for them which I used towards the price of the drill. My girlfriend also bought a bunch of clothes from them for standard thrift prices. Her and I LOVE the thrift scen and will definitely be returning. The staff was friendly enough. I’m not sure what the first reviewer was referring to but I actually spoke with Dean myself, and he was a very nice guy. Keep up the good work, Pops!

I loved this place. It’s not the largest, but there are plenty of gems to be found. The items I found were priced low(def below Goodwill) and straight up quirky. The portrait I found?(pic uploaded) Priceless. Picked up a beach chair for $ 5. Almost got a new karate outfit and sparring gloves for $ 20(I don’t know karate). How could you hate this place? You might not find what you are looking for, but you’re sure to find something(dirty).

The staff is cold, aggressive, and a total departure from the typical Long Island thrift scene. The prices are marked up well beyond normal, and their idea of negotiating is sick and twisted. Their main concern is money and bottom lines. Obviously they don’t spend their time organizing the place and making customers happy. Spoke to Dean many times about selling and trading items, very uncooperative and negative. Terrible experience, refuse to be a patron.
