Chipotle Mexican Grill

I’ve been to this chipotle 3 times, each time was a horrible experience. Your might ask «if you had a horrible experience why return 2 more times» well the only reason was because my friends loved chipotle and I didn’t want to be the only one to say no, it sucks lets go somewhere else.
Ok let me start off with my first time there
I ordered my food everything was fine, I ordered a veggie bowl. When I sat down to eat it by my second or third bite I bit into something hard that came apart into smaller pieces in my mouth as a kept chewing it was a really wierd texture. I spit it out, and it looked like a piece of charcoal, it was all over my bowl I had to throw it out and just let hungry.
My second time there I ordered another bowl, sat down at the seating area and found a leaf identical to the tree leaves outside of the store, Let me keep in mind that I went no where near the door when I got my bowl. When I brought this to the attention of one of the employees she told me that it was a garden leaf…(uhhmmm ok???)
Third time there I ordered a veggie bowl, went to the seating area to eat and ¹⁄₃ into eating my bowl I find a dead fly. yum. That immediately went in the garbage, I was so grossed out and nauseated, That was the last straw never going there again.

I’m not coming to this place again because of the crude and deliberately RACIST behavior of the employees. I went to order my food and the food handler, immediately after looking at me, starts a conversation with another employee about Chinese people and starts snickering.
If you’re Asian, do not shop here because they will make sure in their passive aggressive manner, that you know when you leave the place you are nothing but a RACE to them.

Convinced this made me sick less than a day after eating it. With this 2015 ecoli outbreak going on I wouldn’t be eating chipotle at all for the next few months.

I should not be able to comfortably finish a steak burrito bowl with guac. The portions are small and the staff doesn’t keep up with the dining space. I sat on the lower level and kids sitting on the upper level threw water on a friend and I. Another time going to the upper level, there was a full cup of Coke spilled on the stairs. When I got up to the upper level, these 12 or so teenage boys were having what could only be described as a drunken mosh pit in the center. Half an hour into dealing with them, I went to go downstairs, almost slipping on the same Coke spill on the way down. I’m still going to go here because I don’t feel like hopping on a train and traveling for an hour to the chipotle on court street.

This Chipotle gives the smallest portions out of all the Chipotle Ive been to, about ¹⁄₅ of the bottom of my burrito bowl was visible and the top wasn’t even flattened by the cover.

This Chipotle is TERRIBLE! You should have to learn how to wrap a burrito if you’re going to work here. With so much amazing Mexican food in the area, save your money. Getting asked «do you want me to wrap this twice because it’s a messy blob of goop is not acceptable

This is the dirtiest Chipotle I’ve ever been to! There are no napkins no forks AND there’s no ice in the soda machine. When I walked in there was no one in line so I don’t know what the employees are doing but they’re not working. The manager on staff he doesn’t care about the restaurant conditions. The guy making my burrito couldn’t have acted more like I was putting him out as I ordered my burrito. This was a horrible experience. I like chipotle so I hope this helps to get this place in shape.

OMG! Worst chicken bowl… Please don’t go here…
I usually don’t, well actually, I never have listed a comment but I had to!
Asked for med spicy sauce, they put hot sauce! No offering for new bowl. No apology. Asked for corns, no corns… Asked for lettuce, there were only 5 pieces of it… Only to find out when I got home. Be careful, make sure you check your bowl before you leave… Because when I called back to speak with manager, she said it was my fault of not looking when they were making it. The cashier distracted me to pay when I was looking! No wonder they were rushing to take my money!!!

I was so excited for this location to open up, because Let’s face it the other food options are pretty terrible on the immediate strip here. I was so extremely disappointed with this one. I mean how could you go wrong with a chipotle? I came here during the day and it wasn’t too busy. I ordered my food and went to the upstairs seating. I noticed some of the tables were really dirty. I’m talking garbage and food particles. I thought okay maybe the people just left I’ll just sit somewhere else. The whole time I was there not one employee came upstairs to check. I was seated for about 35 minutes before I left. I could understand if it was busy, but there weren’t people pouring in here so I thought that was odd. Secondly my chicken was way too overly salted and burnt. I was sitting with friends and was so turned off by my food that I didn’t want to ask for another one. They also said that their food was on the salty side too. I’m guessing it was the bottom of the pan leftovers? Who knows but chances are I won’t be back here.

Yes they’re a necessary evil like the Panera Bread, McD, BK, Popeye’s and Wendy’s along 86^th St shopping corridor but to the detriment of quality food.
Chipotle’s tried and true fast casual formula is unmistakable here but while the process and procedure in place have been indoctrinated into the staff, its implementation here is shaky at best, akin to the fast food segment across the street and that is a shame.
With the exception of proteins like pork, everything else is simply dry and overcooked, hardly worthy of the price point people are gobbling it up. Expect quality and vote with your dollars. That being said, Tex-​Mex fare isn’t that easy to get to in this neighborhood unless you drive or enjoy walking long distances.
There is adequate seating but with the masses that come here, getting a seat downstairs or up will continue to be slim pickings.

My recent visit was better! Burrito was great and guac is fresh and doesn’t have unsmashed avocado. I will come back for more!

I love chipotle and get it very often, and was so excited when it opened in Bay Ridge. I went to get 2 burrito bowls and got the skimpiest bowls I’ve ever gotten in the 5 years I’ve been going to Chipotle. It opened recently so i understand that there will be kinks that need to be worked out, but they should really consider managing the portions more accurately.

The food was delicious!!! But, there were some rude customers that forced another customer out of her seat. Nobody did anything so I felt really awkward when I was eating. But, the food is really great and they have both qualities of quantity and quality. Chipotle is a great place for lunch if you have a lot of spare cash,

Here goes! Yes, I was extremely excited about having a Chipotle in the neighborhood. B UT there are a few kinks they really need to work out at this establishment. I first went there after it opened and they ran out of food! Rice, Chicken, etc… Waited, and waited… Then go back again a few weeks later food is cold. How does that happen. Go back again on May 5^th and the cashier is charging me $ 29.00 for 2 burrito bowls chicken. I say to her I never paid that much for my burritos anywhere and she said that I got extra chicken and I said absolutely NOT! She misread what the items were marked and made up a price!!! I agree about the amount of food they are serving here not like others!!!
Now I work in NYC and have been to several Chipotle during lunch hour and no one ever made a mistake like that and the food is never cold and they don’t run out of food. These people need to be re-​trained and the manager should be front and center when there are lines.

Oh, Chipotle. Woe is me. Staff was fast with my order. Zippity-​zip thru the line. Perhaps this was a result of the negative feedback received in many reviews. Appropriate ratios– not quite. My favorite staple at Chipotle is the [insert meat] bowl. This location gave me a few small bites of chicken. Not even enough to make up ½ a chicken thigh. How sad my stomach was. Usually, all the ingredients meld together in harmony. This time, I could taste the sourness of the unripened tomatoes, some spicy salsa that got mixed in accidentally, and lots of rice and beans. Why did the chicken cross the road? He was going anywhere, but into my chicken bowl.

I cannot believe how horrible this chipotle is. Management has to be changed asap. I made an order through the chipotle app at 7:30pm it said my order will be ready at 8:00pm. I arrived at 8:15pm and my order hasn’t even started. On top of that when i got home my order was wrong. What suck the most is that i have to pay for guacamole when they clearly left it out. When i called to correct the charges, the girl asked if i ordered online, told me to hold on and hung up. I tried to call back but the line goes busy. 10 minutes later they don’t even bother to pick up my phone call.

Food was ok, Its food for a quickie, but Christina the cashier made my margarita right after a stressful morning. Thanks.

The food is your standard Chipotle, but it is FREEZING and I couldn’t get into the bathroom with the code.

WORST CHIPOTLE IVE EVER BEEN TO!
I love chipotle and I am there all the time! I always order the same exact thing ½ chicken and ½ steak. Every other chipotle gives me a great portion but this branch give me literally three pieces of each! When I ask for more they tell me that that’s the serving size and every chipotle does that! The employees are extremely rude and difficult to communicate with (everyone besides the cashier). Also whenever I finish ordering, either there are no covers for my drink or there is jalapeño hot sauce! Honestly three to four times where I come here and have a TERRIBLE experience! Oh yeah, I went there recently and the entire building was like 100°F, not comfortable weather to eat in.

Yes, I know. You guys are just as excited as I am! A Chipotle located in Bay Ridge, Yay! Just what a shopper needs in the area. Enough of the fast food burgers and fried chicken, finally a place with actual food for a quick fix.
