Though no manager ever called me back I finally got to speak with management. They explained the reservations system and how the call center is in NV, but since the call center knew they were closed, and that reservations were made via computer, the same computer that emailed me my confirmation, how about hitting a button that informs those of us with reservations that we should call or something. What a concept!
What they couldn’t excuse however was the behavior of the pro shop hero. They apologized. Gave us a complimentary round and Disney’s Director of Golf found me and apologized profusely. They made it right.

Played the course yesterday– this review will b two parts one for the course the other for the service. Great course layout and design. Greens need maturity, very firm, wont hold wedge shots. Great scenery for wildlife gators, turkey, and deer.
Service– Stood in line too long in the pro shop and missed my tee time bc they only had 1 person running the counter with abt 10 – 12 ppl waiting in line. Course was crowded, slow play, sent meesages to the shop no response. Was told by the cartgirl they sent the marshall home.

This is the best of the Disney tracts albeit the greens at Magnolia are more manageable now as the course has just recently reopened following an overhaul. Overall great conditioning, playable for all levels with multiple tee boxes and beautiful scenic routing make this a regular for us on our Orlando rota. We enjoyed this tract better than we did Orange County National’s Crooked Cat from an overall experience point of view. Handicaps contributing to this review: 2, 6, 15, 18

Great layout, brand new greens which are very difficult to hold. Suggest waiting till 2015, after greens are punched a couple of times.
I’ve played this course many times over the years and it was one of my favorites. In 2013 they rebuilt the greens and bunkers. In the long run, this is great. But right now the greens are too hard. Well hit shots will bounce over the green. There are too many other great courses to bother with The Palm right now.

Holy cow is this course awesome!!! If you are not a 10 or below you can forget breaking 90! LONG beast!!! Greens keeper is magnificent! A must play course!
