Great bar by the pool! We finished our boat ride and decided to get an adult drink. Sure glad we did, it was just what we needed. My wife and I got the black cherry lemonade… with vodka ;-) we recommend the drinks and the location!

Simple outside bar, conveniently located near the pool. Drinks are expensive but tasty.

Meh, it’ll do. I suppose coming from years of experiencing the poolside bars at the mega-resorts in Vegas, I have high expectations. But even considering that, I have every right to have high expectations of Disney. I certainly spent WAY more at Disney over the course of just a weekend than I did a couple of weeks in Vegas. The bartenders here were ok. Not at all what I would expect of Disney or what I experienced at other Disney resort pool bars during my trip. It just didn’t feel like anyone was giving beyond a super small fraction of an effort. Friendly enough. But not great, or even good, service. And the drinks were eh. The speciality drinks that are particular to the Polynesian cannot be found here. The drinks that are here are similar to what’s found at all other resorts. Now, don’t get me wrong, it’s not like I sent my drinks back. They were made just fine. Not great, not good, just fine. Note the hours. This poolside bar doesn’t open until the afternoon and it doesn’t stay open late. Prices are high, but so it everything at Disney. Magic Bands and Key to the World cards are, of course, accepted here when cashing out your tab.

Located at Disney’s Polynesian Resort it is the Mickey Mouse version of a tiki bar on the beach ;) It is located between the main pool and the walkway to the ferry boat launch. It has a concrete patio area with tables and chairs w/umbrellas for shade. It goes right up to the white sand beach, where there are lounge chairs and a few scattered hammocks under the palm trees. The bar has limited hours and usually closes right after the evening fireworks. They have a full bar menu but very limited wine selection. They do not serve food from the bar. During the day this area can be full of running kids and wet towels. But after dark is not usually that crowded. For a relaxing area to enjoy an evening drink and view the electric boat parade and the Magic Kingdom fireworks display, this is a great location. However during high season at Disney, you may not find a seat.
