The food is cold and old. The bathrooms are so disgusting… Will never eat there again!

Since they opened I have enjoyed it. For a Mandarin buffet they are the best in town and the wait staff are always friendly and alert.

This place is dirty. The bathrooms are what my daughter described as what you would find in a prison. She’s never been there, but her imagination of what they would look like is exactly what you get here. In the men’s room, you will find mystery puddles under the urinal, sink, and toilet area. Various plumbing parts under the sinks, and a towel under one of the sinks plumbing to prevent leaks. Needs updating and a good cleaning. Wow. We arrived around 445p, and a lot of the food was leftover from lunch yet. So imagine burned, nasty stuff sitting under the burner and steam table since 11am. We will not be back. And to top it off, it was around 34.00 for 3 people to be disgusted.

We paid $ 43.60 for my family of two over six foot boy teenagers, 6’5″ husband, and myself, to eat rice and pudding for dinner. They were pulling apart the buffet and yelling across the restaurant at each other an hour before close. The slim picking pig slop that they served as food was crusty and old on the buffet. When I made my concerns known, I was ignored — wouldn’t even look at me as I spoke, and no discount, meal coupon, nada was offered. Avoid at all costs! I hate that I can’t give negative stars!

we always go here because it has the best choices. I think tonight was our last visit. I got the sweet and sour chicken, and some egg drop soup. I ate ½ of the soup, bit into the piece of chicken. Not only was it ice cold, it has a long black hair wrapped around it. I started to gag! The server took the plate away, and went over to the hostess. She came over and asked«Can I help you?» I told her and she asked me where was the plate. Told her the server took it away. She never came back, she took some silverware as placed it on the ledge, face down. All I could think of was the contamination that are on those ledges ! Not to mention the chicken was never checked, and my husband said the small bit of his food was tough and cold. My husband did not receive a refill on his coffee, and he was not keen on finishing eating either. we got charged over $ 19 anyway. Nope, not going back ever again!

You are taking a chance if you come here. Half of the food on the buffet was cold and looked like it had been sitting out there a few days. Everything about the restaurant has this filthy and dirty vibe to it. All in all… it’s bad.

Just normal mini mall Chinese buffet, nothing special. We went for dinner on Saturday December 28th2013. First thing I noticed was it was very humid due to the buffet steam tables, bathrooms not in the best of shape. Food was just okay, if this is the best bay city has to offer for Chinese then I would find another town for Chinese. Paid $ 27 plus tip for my wife and I and 10 year old.

Everything is deep fried and it all tastes the same. The place is unclean. The only positives were my drink was kept full and the server was pleasant.

The food and service here both live up to the name. They truly are great! If you haven’t eaten here yet, I highly recommend giving them a try.

Decent chinese buffet cheap prices! Seems clean to me, nice people working the tables. Food is hot and fairly fresh, tasty too. The usual assortment of meats and veggies and casserole type choices. I would go again especially if they accepted AMEX card. I travel weekly for business and my corporate card is AMEX, here have to use my own money and get reimbursed which is okay but I prefer the direct way.

One of the best Chinese buffets to go to in Bay City for the price. I can’t speak for cleanness, but only the food.

Chinese buffets seemed to be booming a few years back but now they’re dying off. Great Wall is the best on I know of in the area. They have a mongolian area but I don’t use it. For mongolian buffet, go to Chen’s in saginaw. For regular buffet items, Great Wall is the best.

The BEST Buffet in Bay City for sure. The staff was friendly, and the food was cooked just right. We tried the Mongolian side also. Not like what you might hace expected at a BD Mongolian Grill, but still quite tasty. The food was FRESH. We WILLCOMEBACK!!!

Not a huge buffet fan, but its pretty decent. Especially since most of our chinese restaurants in bay city have closed. Quite a bit to choose from compared to the small buffet at mandarin. The people at great wall are usually nicer than the ones at the Chen’s in Bay City. They had kid friendly options. You can even get takeout off a menu or the buffet for cheap.

In Bay City, MI, I feel this is the best Chinese Buffet. A very good selection of primarily«Chinese Food», but enough«American Food» like Chicken Nuggets or Mac n Cheese to keep the kids happy. There is a Mongolian BBQ, but I personally have never tried it yet. The service, over all, is great. The food is also excellent, I have never had a bad meal yet(and I go a LOT). The atmosphere is, for lack of better term, «Light Asian», meaning it has the look of a standard American Diner/Buffet, with the occasional Asian décor.

Your typical Chinese buffet, with crab. Sometimes the crab is pretty good. Everything is pretty greasy, but decent. They always have some sort of broccoli, green beans, beef, pork, chicken, and shrimp, plus those little donuts. Mac and cheese, apple pie, and garlic bread for people not wanting Americanized Chinese food. Oh yeah and for some reason, the vegetable rolls are called«taco». The egg custard is really good, even though they are in wonton wrappers that look like they were baked inside cupcake tins. They also do Mongolian BBQ, but if you get there too late(as we often do on our way up north), they close the grill and make up all the chicken for the next day.
