I hadn’t been to Chucks in over 20 years because I no longer live in Bay City. It is still a great breakfast place with that low end diner feel. Don’t let the exterior scare you. The food was great, the portions are plentiful and the prices are reasonable.

It’s been about 7 years since I have been to Chucks but the place has not changed a bit. My parents used to bring us here when we were children and I moved out of state almost 20 years ago. Still the best blueberry pancakes I have ever had in my life. Service isn’t very friendly but very efficient. I ordered my hashbrowns extra crispy with onions and they could not have been more perfect. The link sausage was really good and I am not sure where they get the bread for the«texas toast» but it was amazing! It was not toasted but grilled to perfection. Without a doubt the best breakfast that I have had in a very long time. There is also an outdoor(but covered) flea market that has a lot of hidden gems. Do yourself a favor and check them out. You can thank me later.

Ummmm. Shit. I don’t even know where to start with this one. OK. So a friend of mine wanted to go here for lunch. When I pulled up, I must say, I was a tad frightened. It looked scary from the outside. Like some horror movie. Inside. Equally as afraid. It’s really small with a round bar and some tables. Sat down. Cheap prices on the menu. They even sell… Cigarettes??? Ordered scrambled eggs, american fries and toast for less than $ 4. The food was actually pretty decent… So 3 ½ stars from me.
