Fantastic food. Really friendly staff. Salad bar is fresh and has several different salads on it. Plus dessert. Plus bread. Plus soup! I had stuffed shrimp. FANTASTIC!

Good food, good service, good prices. Even though our server got my sister’s order wrong and could/​would not correct it, I’ll be back. However, the same server, at my request, did ensure that my favorite dessert there, fresh banana pudding, was put out on the salad bar. :-)

Out of the two Captain Joes I have eaten at this one is well worth the extra ten miles. Food is superb, flavorful, and crispy. Salad bar tastes fresh. Service is friendly and glasses don’t go dry. My wife and I love fresh seafood. We choose the Baxley Captain Joes over our local Jesup location every time. A+ all around.

I usually visit the Captain Joe’s in Jesup and I am very pleased. We met a friend at the Baxley location, however, and the quality is not consistent. When I eat in Jesup, the shrimp are HUGE! In Baxley, the shrimp were tiny– like grocery store $ 5.00 a bag tiny. The fried macaroni was dry and gross. Only redeeming quality is the salad bar. I love a good salad bar.
Visit the Jesup location if you want the better quality out of the two.
