One and done. The pizza was ok as were the salads and it came pretty fast thanks to the brick oven. However, the total charge for two regular pizzas, 2 personal pizzas and salads for 5 was over $ 90. For that amount of money at other pizza places you’d be pretty full and we all left still feeling pretty hungry. Interesting concept but pizza is meant to be served with beer or wine and because this place seems to not serve alcohol for spiritual reasons, I will take my business elsewhere as anyone who is a serious purveyor of pizza should be able to put their personal beliefs aside if they want to have a successful business long term. Plus, the profits from beer and wine could enable them to price their product more reasonably and then they could have repeat patronage, the holy grail of any business.

Brick oven at its best. Love this style. Battle Ground has lots of good pizza to offer. Uncle D’s is set apart by their style. Very popular for lunch. Get there early.

Has got to be one of the best tasting pizzas in the PNW. You can’t go wrong with the Texan and their Hawaiian has an amazing hint of smoke that makes it unique over any other. If you want to pay for a cheap pizza then there are plenty of pizza places to go and it will taste cheap! But if you want to taste quality ingredients expect to pay a little more for your pizza. The price is worth it!

Priced to high for the size of pizza. And the pizza is chinsy on the Toppings. The cheese or the extra don’t even come anywhere near the crust edge. There’s about 2 ½″ of crust be for you hot the lightly sauced area with the cheese. For this reason I will not return here and pay my own money for this food. BTW where’s the beer… I know why but still. Cmon

Pretty great thin pizza!!! I actually never enjoyed thin pizza before this place… But their Wyoming pizza is hands down my local fave! Hubby loves pork face as well. Family friendly.

My friend took me here and I just fell in love with this place and the pizza! The place itself is very clean. The food was brought out quickly and service was great. The pizza is so tasty and ingredients all taste so fresh. I will be coming back again to try the rest of the menu!

Uncle D’s was much better when they were in Battle Ground Village. Since they moved the prices have gone up even more. The pizzas are great, but way too expensive! Wolfgang Pucks pizzas are cheaper… Now they plan on selling sandwiches and salads, hope they are cheaper than their pizzas. Sadly another example of a restaurant that has tried to expand and failed.

Okay. Before I get any further, know that my two stars DONOT have to do with the food quality or taste. The pizza is TODIEFOR. So good.(5 star pizza) But the two stars are for how the cost just isn’t worth it anymore:( Apparently, the prices went up.(Which was not updated on the website when we planned out our order — disappointing) So we went to pick up 3 pizzas & a dessert pizza. And it cost us $ 60DOLLARS. For those small pizzas(one size). $ 60 bucks?! It would be understandable if they were maybe larger… Or maybe even thicker… But I honestly believe $ 60 for 3 pizzas & a dessert pizza from here is pretty crazy… Especially since it’s just in Battle Ground… Yes, it is delicious. But not that delicious:/ Sorry guys!

Not impressed! Pizza was thin, weak, sad and expensive. The place was nearly empty. I asked a staff for oregano, she didn’t know what it was!!! YOUCAN’T BESERIOUS!!! They served Caesar salad in a plastic bowl!!! Sigh! At first, I gave them 2 stars because they keep the place pretty clean(you bust your own dishes) but changed my mind with a 1 star instead. :(

Love the interior décor! The pizzas are tasty! For what you pay the pizzas could be a little bit bigger with more toppings. My wife loves the Uncle Ds pizza and I usually order the meat pizza. She ordered a personal, and I ordered the full size pizza with 2 drinks for lunch and it was almost $ 40! Holy COW!!! This rating would have been much higher if it wasnt for the price.

I had such high hopes for this place. I like all types of pizza and all types of crust. I thought the thin crust was great, but it’s not for everyone. The issue for me was the value you get for the price. Four of us ordered four individual pizzas, and after paying all that money and being given the choice of sodas or water, I had to eat something as soon as I got home because I was still incredibly hungry. The taste is fine though I’m not sure that Dorito’s chips belong on a pizza. That combination seems to have been invented by someone with the munchies. I would recommend the owners consider price adjustments downward, and whatever the personal reasons toward alcohol, get a license for beer and wine. If not, we’ll happily go elsewhere.

So extremely disappointing. This place looks amazing, great décor, creative menu… but it fell totally flat. The pizzas are basically paper thin, with very little toppings. So what seems like a great price for a 12″ pizza actually is way overpriced. Also, there was no beer or wine served here, which was very strange for a pizza joint. This was our first time trying this place out, and I can assure you we won’t be going there again. I’m assigning this review one star, because I really liked the décor of the place, but that’s it.

Great selection, really good flavors. The kids love it and so do the grownups! I think it may be a bit pricey for the amount of pizza you get since the crust is so thin, but it’s still good enough to keep us coming back for more!

Uncle D’s sucks. The pizza is just eh, and the staff seem like they could care less if you were there or not. The new location is a lil more convenient, but I’d rather just go another couple blocks and get great pizza from Detroit and eat at home.

«Wowwwww!!!» Oh, my… I just can’t!!! This place will knock your socks off! I was so impressed! The décor is so, so country-rustic and beautiful!!! And the pizza… It’s kinda on the smaller size, but super tasty and flavorful! What a great place to have in Battle Ground! Definitely a good dinner restaurant. Love, love, love!!! I’d go here just to stare at all the pretty décor! But the food is amazing, too… I can’t stress how much I enjoyed this place!!!

ok, so we decided to try this place out… and have a mixed review. Pros: cheese sticks were delicious. Melted cheese inside and cheese over the top. Crispy edges, wonderful flavor, decent marinara. Personal size Mediterranean Chicken pizza: pleasant combo of flavors, not too bad. Regular size Italian pizza w/added pepperoni: again, nice flavor, crispy edges, not too bad. Cons: It was all not too bad, just not all that great. Skimpy amounts of toppings, flavors were rather generic, chicken was rather bland and the amount of food for the price was just not worth the price.

I am impressed! I was given this recommendation by coworkers so my husband and I had dinner there this weekend for the first time. I am blown away at the details in the design of this place! Every detail was crafted just right from the outdoor tables to the indoor water-fountain/fireplace. I can see where this place is going to be very popular with large groups and couples alike. Now, onto the pizza. My husband had«The Montana» and I wished I had ordered it because the base was a sweet chili sauce and it was AMAZING! the flavors complimented each bite. The unfortunate part was that I was not as adventurous as my hubby and stuck to the cheese pizza. It was good, but there are so many other choices I will try next time. Pizza is a thin crust pizza so keep that in mind. It was great how my husband and I ate our pizzas and we didn’t have that gross, icky feeling like we normally do from your standard pizza joints with thicker crusts and butter/oil etc… Also, prices are great. We both had a 9″ specialty pizza and two drinks and the bill was $ 21.00. Excellent. I have heard good things about their dessert pizza(something about a blueberry pizza with drizzle of goodness but we were too full to order dessert. Next time, perhaps we will start with dessert. Great place, great staff and great ambiance. All in all, a good new find in Battleground.

Had lunch there today consisting of 29 «personal pizzas: The Uncle and The California. Excellent crusts, fresh toppings — upscale delicious pizza. Loved the décor. Bill was $ 20 + $ 4 tip. Great place, will be back. Needed background music for ambience.

Two large pizzas, three drinks, and two ice creams. About $ 33. All were great. We had bbq chicken loaded up with several additional toppings. Staff was friendly, food was quick, i felt the price was right. I still think of it as pizza but some call it ‘flatbread’. I prefer this as I’m not getting stuffed on bread. It’s only about 100 times better than Rockys. I highly recommend this delicious alternative to Rockys and Little Caesars.

Ordered take out for the first time here. Thin crust, adequate toppings but something was not right. I’ve had wood fire pizza before in NYC and the crust is puffy when it comes out of the oven. Ours wasn’t but then it was driven home and cold by then. 37.00 for two pizzas and one personal. That’s why I gave it three stars. I will try the pizza fresh and edit my review at that point.

I walked in a little indifferent but keeping an open mind. I was greeted by an extremely friendly cashier whom I asked to suggest a pizza. She said the most popular was The Texan, I ordered the personal size. I was given a number(#NumeroUno) and I walked to a window seat. Sat down and admired the asthetics. I knew this place wasn’t going to disappoint. The gazebo in the middlebof the restaurant presented all of the lovely cold beverages and hot coffee. I walked over to get my self a nice root beer. Settling back down im my seat I was greeted by the man who made my pizza. At the first sight of this pizza my mouth started to water. I put on some red pepper and parmesan. The first bite into this hot pizza was just absolutely glorious. The cheese was cook thoroughly to the middle and the crust was just right! After my meal was completed I walked around to some other clients who were sitting and waiting for their pizza. They all had positive things to say. I proceed to walk over to the two gentlemen who were sitting in the corner out of everyones way. They just so happened to be the owners. I gave them my compliments. I wanted to explain to them that they should some so of night sky bat signal to notify me whenever they wanted me to nom on glorious food. 5⁄5 will recommend to everyone I know and meet. Thanks for all your pleasentries and helpfulness.

This is a review by a vegetarian It’s flatbread not pizza. Very much in the same vein as what you’d get at Pieology or Mod. There’s no end-crust 11am to 4pm weekdays the personal sized«classics» are $ 6+tax. Glad I got that because I would have felt that the regular $ 8 price was too high. It’s about the size of a regular 1⁄8 of a 18″ pizza slice and it’s not very good. The restaurant itself is spacious, well-organized, clean, and efficient but it’s main product is lackluster and a little pricey. If you have kids you can take them here for prompt food that they will count as pizza.

We went to Uncle D’s for the first time last night and were pleasantly surprised. The pizza was delicious and the crust was perfect. We ordered medium crust and it had just the perfect amount of char. The pizza was delivered to our table quickly and was very reasonably priced. Plus they have some wonderful, unusual pizzas. Can’t wait to go back and try more. The interior of the restaurant is very nice. You can tell they really put in a lot of extra touches and they also have a wonderful outdoor seating area. Here’s wishing Uncle D’s great success. Great food. Great atmosphere. Great service. They deserve it!

A must try for this new establishment in BG. The pizza is unique and very delicious. Came here for lunch on a weekday so it wasn’t busy and was served quickly. When you walk in you order at the counter, take your number, and take any open seating. They will bring you your meal. Very friendly service and was able to take my time looking through their choices with no rush. Interior was very fancy and had nice décor. Everything looks brand new and nicely put out. There’s a station in the center where you can get your plates, utensils, pizza boxes for leftovers, drinks, and washing your hands. Ordered the Garden Salad($ 8) and regular size pizza, The Uncle($ 14). Garden salad came in a big white bowl with spinach, lettuce, croutons, carrots, veggies, and couple cups of ranch. It was good but wasn’t too impressed for the price paid for a bowl of simple greens. The pizza satisfied my taste buds. There is a generous amount of toppings and flavor on the pizza. You are able to request the amount of cook you want on it and the size(personal or regular). Very thin crust and was good to share for two people. I liked all the toppings on it from the protein, veggies, and spices. There was also a sweet taste in there like cinnamon but was most likely the sweet chili sauce. A great deal would be to go for lunch from 1p-4p for their $ 6 Personal Classic Pizza special. If you go here I recommend trying any of their pizzas. Yes, the price is a little steep in my opinion but you are paying for the quality. You can pay cheaper prices for those big chain pizzas, but you won’t get the same experience which Uncle D provides. Overall, a very nice pizza joint with fabulous food and extraordinary service.

We’ve been to Uncle D’s about half a dozen times since they moved to old town Battle Ground. We’d been hoping for a good pizza place to materialize — and it finally did! They have a simple menu, which makes things easy, and the food has been awesome every time. Their salads are fresh ad crisp, the pizzas are well-made with very nice toppings, and they will prepare them to your preferred level of ‘doneness.’ It’s a family-run business, and everyone who works there looks like they’re related to everyone else who works there, which is actually kind of fun. They are very gracious and polite, and they will do their very best to make things right if there’s a problem. The interior is spacious, relaxed, and CLEAN! I’m heading there for lunch in a little while. Our new favorite place!

We had driven by Uncle D’s on the way to another restaurant a few days previously. It looked interesting and we wanted to try it out. A few days later we did just that. We showed up just before 4:00 and discovered they run a lunch special during the week. If you order a pizza before that time, you receive a small drink. We made the deadline. The wood fired pizzas are good but not out of this world. The crust was crusty and just like we like it. However, the pizzas are rather small. You can order a regular personal size pizza which is only 8″ or you can order the only other size which is 12″. It’s about the size of a medium pizza every place else. Regular pizzas are $ 12 and specialty pizzas are $ 14. The building is nice. You can eat inside or outside. The place is huge and we were the only ones there. Thus, pizza was super fast. Staff wasn’t particularly friendly. I’m not sure we’d return or not return. There was not spectacular to bring us back.
