Ahhh, so, yeaahhh, ummm, it look’s like it’s time for the«It’s not you, it’s me» speech. Did I order the wrong things? Did I somehow encourage the flaky disappearing service? Did I stumble into some bad lighting? What’s wrong with me? Pasta GiGi’s is one of those dining experiences that made me question myself. Don’t be a d-bag Unilocaler … give em’ another chance. So, I did. And did once more. After a couple visits, the food seems to vary widely in quality & flavors while the service has been flaky despite being a relatively small restaurant. It literally pains me to push Pasta GiGi’s into the just a-ok 3-star category, but here’s the math: Food: 3 stars for taste & quality Value: 4 stars for high, but reasonable prices Atmosphere: 4 stars ambiance, décor, & cleanliness Service: 2 stars for just not being there or responsive It’s not you, it’s me … but, ya, I think it’s kind of you. * Caprese Salad — Thick ‘n hard Mozzarella defeat * Veggie Flatbread — Loaded with melted Cheese * Side Salad — Greens + Cucumber Slices + Red Onion * Crespelle — Odd, off, or weirdly burnt? Not sure … * Penne al Pesto — Flavorful … go Pesto, young man * Quattro Formaggi Ravioli — Kind of average, but safe * Rigatoni Bolognese — Worthy of getting again if extra spice * Mac & Cheese with Bacon — Liked the Cheese more than the Mac * Spaghetti with Meat Sauce + A little runny, but a-ok It’s not you, it’s Pasta GiGi’s

This is a decent and not too expensive pasta place. The dishes are pretty basic and I would categorize this as an average place. The restaurant was very clean. Brodie, our server earned the fourth star. He was very attentive and polite. Because of the service we will be back.

We FINALLY made it to Pasta GiGi’s last night and after reading the Unilocal reviews, it was as good as we had hoped! My wife had the crespelle and was raving about how good it was from the first bite. I had the chicken parm and it was a very tasty dish as well. Great service, great food and a table side visit from the chef/owner made for a very nice night out. We now have a really good Italian restaurant here in Battle Ground!

Food is fantastic. Would rate higher but the wait time to get our food has ranged from 15 minutes to over an hour. Must have a small kitchen.

Took the family here for dinner. First let me say the employees are AMAZING! Our server Lindsey was top notch in every way, from treating our three children like actual people and talking to them about their dinner choices, through being a self taught sommelier and directing us to the perfect wines to giving us lots of recommendations on things to do and see in the area since we are recent transplants. We even received a visit from Gigi herself at our table to check to see if everything was perfect… which of course it was. The food was absolutely delicious. Each sauce is made in house, many ingredients are fresh and locally sourced. I cannot recommend Gigi’s highly enough. Everyone in Vancouver and The surrounding areas should make the trip to Battleground just for this little Italian delight.

First visit, we sat upstairs since the entire downstairs had a large party. We ordered lasagna and the mac and cheese. Service was prompt and pleasant, atmosphere was good even though the folks downstairs were loud. Lasagna was oustanding, great blend of cheeses. Loved it, probably the best Ive had. The mac and cheese was also great. Only negative was the house Cab wasnt good at all, didnt even taste like a cabernet. Dinner was $ 46, really enjoyed the food.

Oh My God! Coming from an Italian girl from Jersey this is some of the best pasta I have ever had! Great wine selection, delicious food and wonderful service! Lindsey was super personable and attentive, she gave us such a memorable experience. We will be back a million times for sure! What a little gem!

I really enjoyed Pasta Gigi’s on my trip to Battle Ground, WA. I had their Grilled Cheese on rustic bread. It was made with several tasty cheeses, toasted in olive oil & had a light dusting of sea salt. The sandwich was served with super crisp & nicely flavored potato chips and a big dill pickle spear. Num! I stuck with water because it was infused with fresh strawberries, which I could see as I walked in the door. We sat on the quaint upstbalcony overlooking Battle Ground Village, but they have

Some of the best macaroni and cheese I’ve ever tasted, incredibly good and quick service, too. Love the café-like environment/atmosphere! The ice cream is «to die for» good. Very family friendly, I would highly recommend them!

This place has great food and the service was awesome. As a big pasta fan I see myself coming here often. The prices are much more reasonable then like an Olive Garden and food is better.

We enjoyed the food and service here very much! Chicken Parm was amazing, as was the Penne al Pesto. It did seem priced a little high for the area its located in(Battle Ground is still a smaller town, folks). The ambiance was fabulous, and we will most likely be back again… but its somewhere we will save for a date night, or a special occasion rather than just dinner out with the kids.

Food was ok… mozzarella on the caprese salad was not made in-house, but store bought. Wine was very good and the server was attentive. The food was slightly bland, but not bad.

Huge disappointment!!! I have a hard time giving this place one star. Recently featured as «local» and«fresh» in The Columbian, this place is anything but. Although the server was friendly, she lacked tack. We started with an appetizer and were told«sorry we’re out of mozzarella»!!! Then she brought the salads to the table and when she realized the dressing was on the wrong plates she swapped them around and(it gets better) said«you had no onions right?» I replied no that was me… She PICKEDTHEONIONSOFFTHETOPOFTHEMIXEDGREENSWITHHERBAREHANDS! My husband ordered the chicken Parmesan and when we asked our server where they got the chicken from she replied«Cash and Carry but we doctor it up real good»!!! WHAT??? The greens for the salad were also store bought, as admitted(but then boasted about the«fresh herb garden upstairs») not from the local farmers market. The table next to us ordered the cheesecake for dessert and it had mold on it. The server took it back, pulled out a box from the fridge, put the moldy piece back in the box then picked a «new» piece for the guest– from the same cake!!! The sausage is also from Cash and Carry, says the server. I’m guessing most things are. If you order a topping of shrimp to go with your dish be prepared to pay $ 6 for four pieces. The wine was tasty but the food was not what they say it is. If you do decide to eat here, sit towards the front and watch what happens in the kitchen– appalling. There was nothing organic, fresh, or local about this place. DONOTGOTHERE if that is what you are looking for. Shame on you Viki Eierdam at The Columbian for a terribly misleading read of the«Fresh & Local» guide to Clark Counties foodie scene. But even more so to owner Kathy Aikens for total and complete misrepresentation! Not cool at ALL! Especially for those of use who actually give a crap about what we’re putting in our bodies, our children’s bodies, and where things are being sourced from. We are not a family that supports factory farming and tonight we were sickened and saddened by being tricked and swindled!

we were hoping that this would be the restaurant that would save battleground, wa from restaurant doom. but unfortunately, we were very disappointed AGAIN. the owners did a beautiful job on the ambiance. and the hostess and wait staff were very gracious and attentive. but the dishes were very bland. since this is an Italian restaurant, we assumed that there would be lots of garlic and basil on the dishes. sadly, there wasn’t even a hint of garlic. not even on the garlic bread! zero, nada! the only dish we liked was the caprese salad which did have basil. I must complement them on the extensive wine list. so, 2 stars for the staff, ambiance and wine list.

Amazing food, amazing staff. Yep that sums it up. We have been coming to Pasta Gigi’s pretty much since they opened in BG and have never been disappointed. The food is always so yummy and the staff is the best! Highly recommend Pasta Gigi’s for lunch or dinner.

We are here last week. A cute little restaurant with great food at a reasonable price. It’s not like your big chain Italian restaurants. The food was fresh and delicious. My wife had the fettuccini Alfredo with chicken while I had the chicken parm. Both were superb. I would have given 5 stars but it was hard to find and it was awfully cold inside, otherwise a great find.

Came here for dinner before a father daughter dance. The staff was great, service was great, and the atmosphere was great. The bruschetta was great, and the food was pretty good. We enjoyed the spaghetti and a ceaser salad. The chicken in the salad has a bit too much salt though. All in all, great place. We needed an Italian place in BG that wasn’t pizza! We will be back.
