Clean and fresh room. Nice location close to restaurants and coffee shops. Nice and approachable staff.

We stayed here for 3 nights. We had a problem with our room the first night and the staff took care of the problem right away. Customer service was excellent, breakfast was good and the room was good. We would stay here again next time we are in the area!

I stayed five nights in the hotel. It was clean and the staff were kind and helpful. I will definitely be staying here again! The only complaint I have is the breakfast was not that great. I ate it one morning and then just walked over to Cracker Barrel each morning after that. Still five stars because the staff was SUPER awesome.

Very good staff. Very friendly and helpful. Two things kept me from giving this motel 5 stars. One, no refrigerator in the room. In this day you can buy a pallet of refrigerators for about 20 bucks apiece. I am tired of half the rooms at marriots not having a fridge. Two, the bed in my room was a little old and could stand to be replaced. I found EVERYTHING to be working smoothly and properly and the staff very friendly and obviously well trained to do their jobs! Great no issues stay.

This was my second time staying at this hotel. I really like staying here when I come to Battle Creek. The hotel room is extremely clean, I always do a clean sweep when I enter; I check the bathroom, check around the bed, and check under the bed. The rooms are clean and comfortable however the bed was too firm but the plethora of pillows made up for it. The reception on the tv isn’t that great somewhat fuzzy. The hotel offers an upgraded Continental breakfast, which consist of eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, and more. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly I really do enjoy staying here

Marriott! This is a bit of an older property, but it’s not that bad. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the beds were clean. There’s a bit of road noise, but I didn’t really notice. A few quick and easy fast food chains around, and easy access to the Firekeepers Casino(10 minutes) and the highway!

It took my wife several years to convince me to stay at a Marriott property after our last experience and after this experience, it will probably never happen again. But I wanted to share these issues with you… At first, it seemed things would be okay, the presentation of the property was fine, but every time we did something, there was an issue. The room had stained bed runner in it, which was pretty gross, but we removed it and placed it in the corner of the room. When we went to use the pool, we we had to wait a while because the lock was broke and it appeared as though nobody knew how to fix it. The staff was very friendly about it, but not knowledgeable of the situation. In the pool area, the water was cloudy and the timer for the hot tub was not working, rendering it has nothing more than a giant tub of hot water, very disappointing. But at breakfast this morning, that was the deal breaker of all… The food was nearly inedible. There was sign advertising breakfast sandwiches, but. there were none. There was no coffee available, and there was only enough waffle mix to make one. Then there was no pancake syrup. The woman that tried to help could not because the cabinets were locked, and the front desk associate came over, could not get the lock open and then said there she had to go because a guest needed help. This was offensive… was I not a guest that needed help? So by the time we got syrup the waffle was cold. What should have been a nice relaxing evening, turned out to be nothing an enormous waste of money. We could have stayed elsewhere, bought our own breakfast, and took our chances that the facility was better maintained. Disappointing for a Marriott property for sure!

Affordable, clean, comfortable, friendly staff, great free breakfast. Came here last minute as our camping plans were shortened by my wife, mosquitoes, a heavy heat advisory, and a previous night’s poor sleep in the tent. We are mountain bikers and frequent Fort Custer’s MTB trails. Camping is enjoyable but when you start going every weekend, your body craves something other than a sleeping bag and a musty pillow. We were impressed by almost everything this two/three star hotel had to offer. While we might have been impressed simply because there was running water, I believe our satisfaction was a result of other factors. The room was very clean and everything appeared updated. Would certainly stay here again. Most likely this weekend!

This place was probably more like a 3.5. Positives: Right off the expressway. Close to food, gas, convenience stores, grocery stores, etc. The hotel itself is clean and well maintained. Nice pool and hot tub area. Fantastic continental breakfast. Negatives: A little pricey. The hotel is smoking-free, but our room smelled like an ash tray. They ran out of roll-away beds. Double charged us for our rooms. All in all, a slightly above average experience and I would stay here again.

I’m pretty happy at this hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The building is very clean and well maintained. The beds are nice. The whirlpool rooms are reasonably priced as are the normal King rooms. Nice large empty pool and hottub. Decent workout area. There is some road noise, but not too bad. Bonus points for providing reliable wifi without some weird login system that requires you to call the support line every other day. Additional bonus points for having on-site coin operated washer and dryer! I do wish there was a thermostat on the AC/Heater, but now I am splitting hairs…
