I actually have never heard of this place, but I decided to give it a try since Groupon offered me $ 100 for only $ 40. After reading some Google reviews, I figured why the heck not? Even though I live 1.5 hours away, I really needed new tires and will be in Baton Rouge anyway. I came here on a Saturday morning at 9:30. Let me tell you, the décor of Treads made me feel like I was shopping in a high end boutique, but for tires. Leah helped me out right away and was very polite when the phone rang. She didn’t make me wait, making me the priority since I was physically there. She gave me two options for tires and explained the differences and shared some specials with me(four tire purchase gives you 2 free oil changes). I honestly can’t remember what tires I got, but it’s supposed to last 70k miles. I had to wait about 45 minutes for them to start on my car, then another hour for them to work their magic. I really didn’t mind waiting because the waiting area was comfortable, 3 tables, 2 couches and a TV. pretty clean too. I like how(non-alcoholic) drinks are free. The wait was literally what they quoted(1.75 hours). The price tag? $ 526 total — $ 100 Groupon = $ 426 for the tires, mounting and balancing(and a few others I can’t remember). I also get 2 free oil changes, so dock about $ 100, which brings the cost to ~$ 326 for a good amount in services. I also get a free/discounted alignment next time I come in. Leah also discussed with me what maintenance my car needed just in case I wasn’t sure(how wonderful, she didn’t make me feel like an idiot either). In my eyes, the cost was worth it. The last time I paid that much was for Goodyear tires, I didn’t even get an oil change. Also, after driving home from, the tires felt a little slick, but the ride was super smooth! I didn’t even notice I was going 90MPH. My brakes weren’t squeaking either. I wonder if they solved that issue too.
