Starbucks

Terribly slow and my order has never once been correct on the first try (even when using mobile order app which clearly labels the order) Customer service is lacking and a bit condescending.

This Starbucks location I have mixed feelings about. The coffee is just as good as the other locations however it’s a nightmare just to get into the parking lot. This location has a tiny tiny parking lot and it’s very cramped. Additionally, it’s not very easy to get out of this location and get back onto College dr. talk about a headache! Also, note this location is pretty large inside so that’s a plus plus for me. This location stays pretty busy too. I would frequent it more it’s just kind of hard to get into and get out. Anyways, I’m around the area and my coffee cravings are kicking in. Watch me go be a hypocrite and run here right quick, bad traffic and all, lol.

This Starbucks sucks :(I usually go to the one on Perkins, but I go here when I’m extra lazy and want a drive thru. What’s the point if the drive thru takes forever and the coffee is not on point?
The service doesn’t really stand out, but I’ve never had a problem with it either. They just never get my morning fix right.
Green Tea Latte: matcha powder with milk, basically.
What I get: Iced coffee with matcha powder. green tea + coffee is sooo not my thing. Maybe yours. But not what I signed up for.
Besides that, my usually coffee orders always vary in degrees of a strong espresso or not, levels of sweetness, etc. I just never get the same thing twice, and I never know what to expect.

I have been to this Starbucks many times before, and I’ve never had a problem with the workers. I am also a gold member of Starbucks. I get a free menu item on my birthday, and every I think 12 stars I earn, I get a free beverage. About a month ago I went to this Starbucks to order a breakfast menu item. I ordered a «Bacon and Gouda Breakfast Sandwich.» When I got home to eat my sandwich, all I had was bread and a scrambled egg patty. This sandwich was missing the two things the sandwich is named after. I was so disappointed and upset. I’ve never had service like this from any Starbucks. I contacted Starbucks and they put money back on my card. Today, I went and got a Roasted Tomato Mozzarella Panini. It was just pesto cheese and bread! Then when I was ordering I said I wanted a «venti iced caramel macchiato with extra drizzle» and she heard «grande caramel macchiato with extra drizzle». I corrected her and said «iced and venti» and she took it as I wanted the same drink in both a grande and venti. So I was charged for both. I love Starbucks, but this location needs to get their workers actually trained. I don’t think I will be returning to this location.

Menu is several months old in drive thru and does not reflect any current sandwich choices. Disappointing

Worst drive thru service EVER! 19 mins in line. Asked the window what the issue was and the response was…“sorry, the health inspector is here”. Who cares, it’s supposed to be about the customer! SMH!

If there were zero stars, I’d rate it that. This morning, this place was horrible. They LOST our order and didn’t seem to care. No big deal that we waited for EVER. The parking! Horrible… What a mess…

3.5 stars would be more appropriate. The location is terrible and an absolute nightmare during high traffic times. The parking lot is kind of cramped but the drinks are good. Depending on who’s working. Certain baristas mess up my order no matter how many times I try to reiterate what I want and others just get.

It’s a Starbucks, what more can I say. Nothing more or less impressive with this location. We stopped here while visiting from Houston.
Be warned that during peek ours this location is extremely hard to get in and out of! You can cut through the shopping center parking lot instead turning directly into Starbucks when headed from the LSU area to 1 – 10, this will alleviate some traffic.
Sorry to give you three stars but awful location to maneuver through. But again, noting wrong with the inside or drinks :)

So, a few factors were at play when we went to visit this location. First, it was Christmas. Second, it’s one of the only places open on Christmas. Third, it was very busy. However, all of that being said this location was very dirty and also very slow. I’ll give them a pass on this since it’s a holiday. Therefore I’m giving this location 3 stars when I normally would have given it probably 2.

Who loves coffee?! This girl does and who loves it maybe more than me? My son. I love coming here in the mornings to enjoy a nice cup of Joe and I love it even more now that my mini me enjoys himself a decaf Frappuccino. I wish they would bring back the mini frap just for him! This location always has spot on service with a smile. I frequently like to pay it forward in their drive thru because of it. It’s always nice to see how far just one pay it forward can go at Starbucks and it’s always because of the delightful staff and service! You guys rock it! Don’t forget to try some of their parties when you stop by.

This is an older Starbucks that has survived the boom and bust. The exterior shows in that it is not the cleanest, but inside it is clean. There is better coffee nearby, but they don’t open until later in the morning so Starbucks has to do on those days.

There are some clear pluses and minuses for this location. Starting with the minuses, the exterior of the building is remarkably dirty. In fact, its just awful seeing small bits of trash and chewed gum on the side of the building and areas that have outdoor seating. The outside really needs to be power washed. Plus, depending on where you are coming in from College Dr, the parking is a bit sketchy. I wound up parking in a business center lot directly behind the store, as well as two other patrons.
Now, with that said, the plus side of this location is that the interior is roomy. In fact, quite possibly the largest interior that I’ve ever seen a Starbucks located in. That is a huge deal, considering the close proximity this location is to LSU’s campus. The staff seems to be made up of mostly current students, which was expected. One underclassman was telling me that he had 4 exams this week and had the perfect job to stay hydrated with caffeine! Lol. This location is also quite ideal for LSU students to hang out in.
Other than that, this Starbucks location is among the closest to the places around Essen Park Blvd and other hotel venues. If traveling from out of town, I would certainly recommend this place. Its okay.

Slow service. Bathroom was nasty! Not just a one time thing. There is grime all around, broken door lock to stall and toilet was not clean. Makes me wonder if the service kitchen gets cleaned…
Got caramel macchiatos to-​go. Yuck! Made with burned coffee and no caramel. I need my $ 16 back!
Worst Starbucks experience ever.

Fast and Versatile
⁴⁄₅ times I come here, my drink is made correctly. My go-​to is a Grande Caramel Macchiato with soy and warm. They make it just the way I like it, most of the time! I have only went inside once, and it is pretty nice and open. I use mostly the drive-​thru. it is just so quick; don’t be discouraged by the long lines! One day, while completing a mid-​term, they were opened a few minutes before opening! It was the best! I, most of the time, love coming here!

So let me just start of by saying «YAY STARBUCKS» like any other generic white girl! ha ha
But seriously this is some awesome coffee and I never get something I do not like and I like to switch it up! This location is busy, busy, busy and it took quite a while to get my coffee in the drive-​thru. I was fourth in line and the line grew to the street but I didn’t move from in front of the speaker for about five minutes and that can be annoying. But good thing my coffee was hot and delicious!

I’m rating this location and not Starbucks coffee in general. (I think by now you know if you like Starbucks so there’s no reason to say what I think about it…)
This is a really nice location. It is open and spacious with plenty of seating. There’s a couch and 4 really comfortable arm chairs. There are also a few tables if you want to sit outside, through it would be loud as it’s right on college drive. Parking is a little sparse, though.

Vacationing, if you could call it that, in Baton Rouge to visit family. Need, need my coffee fix. Alas, in LSU territory I found a taste of civilization. First time ordered the dirty chai latte, second time a pumpkin latte. Both were fine. It was the WiFi that filled my heart with goodness, the friendly people studying and typing on their laptops, and the grab n go options that brought my happiness. So, so glad this coffee shop is here

«Wake me up coffee, wake me up»! Oh the sounds of a busy coffee shop, the herds of people cramming the café for their daily caffeine high! It’s just another day at this buzzing Starbucks on College Drive! This is a very busy location… drive-​thru line is always out to the street and the inside can get packed like Walmart on a Sunday evening. No matter how many local coffee houses pop up in this city, it’s interesting to see hundreds still flock here! Why oh why? Well, you can get a piping hot cup of coffee here for under $ 2 and those mighty Frappuccinos that is basically dessert in a cup! Sometimes, people come here and forget they are on a diet and splurge on their order «Double Chocolaty Chip Frappucino with whip drizzled with chocolate, please». For many, it is an addiction and must have one on a daily basis! You will need a separate bank account just for your daily Starbucks visits because those drinks add up!
I enjoy busy coffee shops, keeps me motivated. Plus, if the place was dead, we would know why… no more coffee! No need to worry about that here, coffee does not look like it will ever run scarce! Since, I am using this as my «office» today and my grumbling tummy needed to be fed, I went ahead and ordered an «Old-​Fashioned Grilled Cheese». Oh my, I did not expect to pay almost $ 6 for it… $ 5.72 to be exact. Nothing fancy… 2 slices of whole grain toast with cheddar cheese oozing out of it. Eh, it was good… served it’s purpose! I do love the flourless chocolate cookies… they are quite scrumptious! Sweets… my downfall and one by will be the reason why I will be in DEA = «Dessert Eaters Anonymous». They are irresistible as are many of their pastries ever since the partnership with La Boulange bakery (based in San Francisco) began! I usually say that I am getting the cookie for my daughter… I kind of do… I give her half. She does not need the whole cookie and frankly, neither do I!
If you choose to come here with electronic devices, I do love this café because of their over-​abundance of electrical outlets! Almost every seating area has an outlet you can plug into! Fantastic for me!

Like most Starbucks you know what you can expect when you go in.
What set this one apart for me was the wonderful service. When I ordered by soy chai no water — the lady at the counter knew exactly what I wanted and commented on how she thought it was better with the no water and would have suggested it had I not said it. Awesome — you won my heart right there. She was also really patient with my mom’s complicated drink order (Love you mom) which is always a plus too.
Service was great and everything was nice and speedy. And my Chai tasted PERFECT!
