Prestigious Painting

This company did a terrible job on our kitchen cupboards. I was nervous about having the cupboards painted, but Nathan reassured me that they would be «Out of business if they didn’t paint kitchens.» The painter did not remove a single drawer and only removed a few cupboards. How do we know? When we removed our drawers and cupboards to install new hardware, we saw that trim was skipped or simply painted with only primer– leaving the old color pushing through. Not a single bottom to our cupboards or drawers that was visible was painted. I have the pictures as proof. Of course we would have only noticed this if we removed the cupboards and drawers; we can only assume that the company did not expect us to ever do this. What a disappointing surprise when we did. We sent the pictures to Nathan and asked him to come fix the issues. To his credit he came and admitted the job was not done well and said he would fix it. However, he continued to insist that the painter who originally painted the kitchen was their «best» painter and told us that if we wouldn’t allow him to come back redo the job, he wasn’t sure when he could send another painter. We were less than thrilled to have someone who was so sloppy to come again-​obviously– so we requested another painter. Eventually one was scheduled and a time of 8am was decided on. We rearranged a morning to be at home to let the painter in. The painter did not arrive– and after waiting nearly 40 minutes we had to depart for work. We called Nathan and he stated that the painter was at another job and not able to come on time and didn’t want to insult the people he was with at the time by telling them he had an appointment with us. This all told to me after I called him– we did not receive any communication that the painter would be delayed. So we received a terrible paint job and were told that even though we had an appointment for them to fix this terrible paint job, they were not going to show up on time to repair this paint job because they were worried it would upset other clients. Do yourself a favor and find another painting company. We had our living room and formal dining room painted as well– these areas also boast drips, places where only one coat was put on the walls– we paid for two– and places where paint is carelessly dripped onto our crown molding which was not to be painted at all and could have been easily taped to avoid this. I have pictures to back up every issue listed above and will post. Again, I would not use this company at all. Terrible service and paint job all around.

I had an excellent experience with Nathan and Prestigious Painting. They helped me get my home ready to be put on the market – they pressure washed the whole outside of the house, and painted the trim, overhang, doors, and primed and painted some repairs that were made. They also painted all of the baseboards and doors inside of the house. Their price was very good for the amount of work we had done, and they were able to do it very quickly for us as well. The workers Nathan had come out were very professional and communicated well with us whenever they had questions or wanted to just update us on what was going on. Overall I was very satisfied and would definitely use them again!

Living in a house with my sister at the time, we were looking to have the interior repainted. We wanted to change up the colors but were a little hesitant of having men in and out of our place for who knew how long. I had noticed prestigious painters just by seeing their signs around LSU apartment complexes. After giving the company a call, Mr. Shannon was sent over and we talked colors and textures. I chose 3 colors from Sherwin Williams, and he took care of the rest! The next day, they came over and the whole paint job was completed in that ONE day! Mr. Shannon and the other worker with him were so polite and professional, I highly recommend these guys! And our home looks amazing!!!
