Awesome food & quiet atmosphere. The best steak and baked potatoes ever, not to mention the pumpernickel bread.

Service here is horrible. It was Mother’s Day there was actually no wait which was awesome, but soon I saw why. We were seated our waitress took a minute to come she got our drink and appetizer orders, she brought out shrimp and dropped them all on the table and we just looked… She never apologized and she also asked if we still wanted to eat it. We are mind blown by this and we of course look at her crazy and said no! She then says the table is clean if y’all want to eat it. That was beyond rude and horrible service. Since then she had an attitude we were ready to go. The manager did come and take over and was helpful and gave us a discount but the night had already been ruined.

John C was our waiter… His approach to us was not friendly, was not on time with bringing drinks or picking up dirty plates. My medium rare steak was super well done. French onion soup looked like it was scooped out the garbage. The waitress working next to him looked like she was on crystal meth. I will NOT return here.

We eat at this location often. Service is good and the food is fresh and always consistent. I like that they make menu changes. We both love the Blue Cheese Chopped Pecan salad!

I don’t normally bother to write reviews for chains, but based on their low star ratings and my good experience, I felt morally obligated to help them out! My family of four went here on a Saturday night very impulsively, which we never do as I’m a total planner. They were packed as usual, but overall the service was great, food was top quality, and the ambiance was as expected at a chain. Outback is known for their steaks, Bloomin’ Onions(fried onion with a delicious dip that I’ve been missing), seafood, etc. We tried a bit of all of it and we’re all four pleased with our selections. The booth seating was comfy, we were close to the bar which added some excitement, and the TVs and coloring pages helped distract my girls from the wait which wasn’t that bad anyway. Glad we went, would recommend them, and will return again!

Last night was my finance’s birthday and he has been DYING to try Outback… so, being his birthday we Unilocaled the closest Outback and headed over there. Guy was so excited to eat a steak, it was kind of ridiculous. Anyways, we get there around 7:30ish on a Monday evening, the place was pretty much dead. After seeing the bad reviews on Unilocal, and then seeing how dead it was, it honestly made me a little nervous, it made me wonder if we made a mistake. There was nothing we could do about it, so I kept my mouth shut and just followed the Hostess to the nearest table. Our waiter immediately took out drinks, I had glass of white wine, my fiancé a miller lite. As we waited for our drinks we looked over the appetizers, everything seemed good, but we decided to try the«Blooming Onion» sounded and looked good. To our surprise it was«free app Monday» which was awesome! The Fried Blooming Onion was DELICIOUS! Greasy but so worth it. I was getting so full I decided not to order big meal and just stick to something small, so I ordered a cup of the Tortilla Soup(it was good. I was surprised, it had a lot of flavor) my fiancé, of course, ordered a steak, medium rare, with Mac & Cheese and cheesy broccoli. I took a bite of his steak, it was really good, super tender and juicy. So yes, we had a good experience at this location. Our waiter was amazing. Very attentive, super professional. I don’t know why there are so many bad reviews, I guess we just came in at a good time?

Service was sllllloooooowwwwwwww. Agonizingly slow. The food was ok. Nothing to rave about. I went to eat here with my nana. The manager stopped by and was very very nice. But my ideal time for two people to sit down and eat isn’t 2 hours. Especially with no appetizer or desert. I like the fact that they have to nutrition information online. That’s a plus. I would get food to go from here. That’s about it.

I usually love Outback but this one is horrible. Every single time without fail parts of our orders are missing. We tell the waitress and they missing items come when we have finished our food. We have given this place chance after chance but every time its fails us. Horrible food & even worse service. We are never going back.

I came here with my wife and child. My wife and I have an adopted biracial 7 year old child. When we sat down the waitress completely ignored my wife and child. Not once did she look at them when she spoke to them. It was obvious to me that she was racist. My wife’s hamburger didn’t come as ordered. She had to wait ten minutes to find a waitress to get the problem fixed. The food was mediocre, not up to the standards I expected from an Outback Steak House.

I’ve been to this Outback multiple times. 99% of the time, my service and food is good. Tonight, my entire party got over cooked steaks. When we alerted our waiter, he was very quick to get his manager and make sure everything was right as we wanted it. The manager, Chris, checked on us multiple times to be sure we were satisfied with our meal. I felt like they cared about our service and wanted it as best as they could. If you’re in the mood for Outback, take the time to come to this one.

I’m very sad to post this review, but feel I must. My husband came to Louisiana from England. We lived in Covington for a year and he had his first steak in America at outback in Covington. he was amazed. We became regulars. Every other Sunday we were in. Service was awesome, food was delicious… We decided to visit this location on jones creek a few days ago. If service had been great, we’d look past the fact that the food was horrible and visa versa. But overall, this was the most horrible experience we’ve had eating out(except for one time at BJ’s by the mall. that was really bad). Please know that we typically enjoy our out to eat experiences. We’re friendly folks, easy going and don’t expect perfection. But goodness we do expect something. It’s not like it’s free and also, it’s an experience to go out to eat. Would like to enjoy my time. Anyway, waiter was nice — but seemed so «not there». Didn’t check on us, we had to try to flag him down twice as he checked on another table but didn’t even look our way. It was like he could only do one thing at a time… That’s not too good if you are a waiter. When he finally brought out the food, you could tell it had been sitting under a warmer. My fish was tough and my husbands steak was tough… Chewy. Just a bad cut of meat it seemed and like it was cooked but then left to sit. We will not visit this location again.

I normally love Outback but today I ordered some food for carryout & only about ½ of my order was good. My boyfriends steak was under seasoned & undercooked.(He had to put it in the microwave to make it medium well bc it was rare.)Both of our ranch salads were very, very small. I have never gotten a salad that small when I get carryout or when we dine there. Both the salads also had big thick chunks of the white part of iceberg lettuce that you’re not supposed to serve. The cheese fries we got were undercooked, soggy and looked like a small order instead of regular size. I also ordered a side of «grilled asparagus» but it was VERY soggy. On the plus side, my Talapia and steamed vegetables were good.

Fantastic! I received a gift card from Outback from my fellow employees and looked for a location. Jones Creek was the logical location but I was concerned about the rating! My husband and I went there and gave them a try anyway! SOGLADWEDID! I was fantastic! The blooming onion and sauce was delicious ! Then I got the 14 oz fire cooked ribeye with French onion soup and salad! It was the best. Medium rare cooked to perfection! Hot all the way through and very pink and juicy with the best flavor! My husband had the grilled tilapia with crab meat and grilled mushrooms. Chris our waiter made the suggestion ! He was dead on. My husband couldn’t stop taking about it. Chris is tops and we will make sure we are in his section on our next visit! Totally happy with whole experience !

After reading the reviews for this restaurant my husband and I almost went somewhere else. Mainly we did not want to fight the traffic so we decided to give this a try. I am glad we did. The service was great, staff very attentive and the meal was very good. Maybe management has changed but we had no complaints at all this evening.

I hate to give anyone a bad review but I went here last night and the service was awful. They were out of bread, they sent our salads to another table, we never got drink refills, my husband’s order was incorrect, I asked for extra flavor for my beverage(which I never got). I mean it was crazy and the place was nowhere close to full. We visit this place all of the time and this was the worst!!! The food was ok, but it was such a bad experience until I don’t know if we’ll visit again.

I went with 2 other people to this Outback tonight. There was no wait and the restaurant was about half-full. The server forgot half of the drink order and we had to ask another server to get our drinks. Thirty-five minutes after the appetizer was delivered, the server reported that the restaurant was out of the prime rib ordered by my dining companions. Meanwhile, other tables who arrived after we did had their entrees. Clearly the server forgot to put the order in. After another long while, we got our food and my order was abysmally wrong and I had to send it back. It took over 2 hours for a couple of steaks and a(corrected) salad. The food, once corrected, was actually pretty solid. But the service was so, so poor, with no apologies, there’s no going back to this restaurant. And it wasn’t just our server, others were buzzing around with food and no idea where to deliver it. The management needs to be overhauled.

Food was fine but the service was slow. We arrived early and thank goodness we did. Sat in the bar area and was almost a fight for our table when left. Cinnamon oblivion is back for short time.
