My husband and I love Italian food and have been to many Olive Garden’s around and I must say the Siegen Lane location is by far my favorite. I couldn’t be more impressed. My order of chicken alfredo, with salad and breadsticks was so tasty. I even reheated some of the past the next morning and it was just as delicious as when it was just made. Also, my order was ready in less than 15 minutes. When i came inside, there was no wait and the cashier was so sweet. I would definitely recommend this location to friends and family!

Hmm… Where do I start?! I know… Let’s talk about the smell when you walk in… What is it?! Can anyone tell me?! Once again I’ve come to a place that isn’t my choosing and walking into a nasty smelling restaurant is not cool. The food: salad-yuck, you were stingy w/the cheese and dressing, I didn’t want any entrees but decided on sharing an appetizer w/my friend… That was actually okay. But the best part of all is taking a big gulp of your iced tea that clearly tastes like raspberry(which I hate,) and told straight to your face by your waitress I don’t drink tea I wouldn’t know sweetie I’m going to need you to at least lie next time.

I came to OG because I had a gift card. I haven’t been here in more than 8 years. Pros… We were attended to quickly. Our server was polite and helpful. The fresh bread sticks were awesome especially with the marinara dipping sauce. Cons… When we first walked in there was a bad aroma. Kind of like a sour drink station.(Please keep in mind I have a nose like a blood hound. It’s a blessing and a curse.) I ordered chicken Marsala and ended up sending it back. I couldn’t taste any seasoning on the chicken and the Marsala/mushroom gravy just wasn’t flavorful. Seemed like a package gravy. Overall the service was great! So I will try again.

Had lunch with my wife today. Was a very busy place but the server Daja made up for it. She was timely with refills and our food was good. The chicken parmigiano sandwich was excellent. Our appetizers was the cheese fondue was a little bland but over all a great lunch.

I try not to expect much from chain restaurants but this was less than par. The service was mediocre and the food was bland. I don’t remember Olivd Garden being this tasteless. I ordered the never ending pasta bowl in order to try a lot of pasta sauces but every pasta sauce that I tried was tasteless and boring. I mean it seems like the menu has gotten smaller and it took a significant amount of time for a food to hit the table and it wasn’t that busy. I never have to return.

I haven’t been here in years bc I just wasn’t impressed with the food or service. We were in the area and was looking for some yummy soup and salad. We decided to give Olive Garden another shot and were very pleasantly surprised! The food was delish and the service was even better. Our waitress was named Mindy and she is an absolutely sweetheart. She made our experience that much more enjoyable. I hope I come back much sooner than the last time I’ve been :-)

I recently came to celebrate my middle son’s honor roll achievement. He loves this place so after numerous tries to get him to some where else, we went. Keep in mind it has been a while since I have been back to Olive Garden. We both got unlimited soup and salad. We really like the house salad. It was served in a big bowl with salad tongs. Olive Garden’s house salad consists of iceberg lettuce, black olives, tomatoes, carrots, purple onions, croutons, and a signature Italian vinaigrette dressing. For the soup we selected, the Zuppa Toscana. This soup is my ultimate favorite. I usually ask them to limit the amount of potatoes in the soup. The soup is mixed with spicy sausage, kale and russet potatoes. If you haven’t tried it you are crazy!!! It is a must! Oh how could I forget, we also had a freshly prepared homemade alfredo sauce for dipping our hot bread sticks in. Umm so freaking good. The manager suggested that we try the five cheese, so we try that on the next visit. Yes, I am going back! You’ll get what you come to expect from Olive Garden here so whenever the craving hits, drop by and get unlimited breadsticks along with soup or salad and a huge pasta dish.

Every time I’ve gone to an Olive Garden, I’m usually left disappointed. For the third time, this was no different. The minute you walk in, it smells like a stable. I opted for the Northern Tour of Italy(chicken lombardy, fettucine with mushrooms, and tortellini). My partner chose the chicken cacciatore, but it was unavailable since the«trucks» did not deliver yet. That was the first sign the food isn’t made fresh. He decided to get the same order as me. The salad and bread sticks are fine. In fact, I really like the bread sticks. The salad is ok. We dug into our starter for no more than 2 min when our entrees arrived. The restaurant was crowded so we were very surprised to receive our food so quickly, not to mention so quickly after receiving the salad. Upon first impression, the plating was unappetizing. For such a large plate, the food could not be more disjointed. Either our portions were too small or it needed to be served on a smaller plate. Also, the food was cold. We switched immediately to entrees to avoid that. Comparing my plate to my partners, it looked like two different cooks put it together. Different components were missing on each plate and the sauces were different colors for the same dish. The chicken was a flat, thin breaded patty with a thick layer of cheese on top sprinkled with bacon. I had no mushrooms in my fettucine, which had a clumpy sauce that separated. My partner was kind enough to let me try his mushrooms and they were good. The tortellini was my favorite out of the three items. Was it great? No, but it was better than the chicken or fettucine. For $ 17, I expected 100x better. I don’t consider myself a good cook, but I can make better food than I was served. This is the last time I will eat at an Olive Garden.

Mom wanted to go to OG tonight after seeing several OG commercials. We ended up sitting in the bar area with Nate(the bartender) as our server. Mom and I both got the Tour of Italy. Mom was curious about one of their soups, but also wanted a salad. Nate brought the usual big bowl of salad, but also a sample of the soup mom asked about. The food was great, and they would have had five stars, but the lasagna was just warm, not hot. But everything was tasty and the OG would make a fortune if they could clone Nate!!!

Old food and absolutely terrible service from Mallory. I want to start by saying we’ve been here several times for date night and have always left happy, so this isn’t a one-visit hit job. We came in at 9 this time, an hour before close, and both bartenders let us know with the unsmiling looks on their faces that we were not welcome. Then Mallory, our server(I only learned her name later, from the receipt, since she never bothered to introduce herself) asked for a drink order. Drinks came, order was taken, and that was that. When the soup and salad came, that was the last time we saw Mallory for 10 minutes, although it was dead at that time so I have no idea where she went. Soup was lukewarm and bread was stale, meaning no one bothered to make it fresh for the latecomers. We quickly ran out of water and tea and had to stay that way for most of the ten minutes until Mallory came back and asked if we wanted refills on our drinks. Of course we wanted refills, Mallory, we hadn’t even gotten our entrees yet. She also never bothered to ask if we wanted more soup, salad, or breadsticks while we were waiting on entrees. We got the one portion of each and that was that, which was fine since it was old anyway, but still. Our server didn’t even try to pretend to take her proper steps of service with us. Entrees came. Mine was wrong but I didn’t say anything, I’m not too picky. My wife’s, however, came with the wrong kind of pasta. We were told that they ran out last minute, and lectured by Mallory on how all pasta tastes the same anyway. Of course it does, we’re not stupid. But no apologies were made, my wife was simply told that that was what she was getting. We ate most of it and asked for the check. Mallory said okay, and then continued to sweep. No movement toward the bar, just as if we hadn’t said anything. I asked again and just gave her my card to save her the trip. Mallory, we left you over 20% because we know what server wages are and would not steal your service from you. But you did NOT earn a cent of that tip. We are extremely disappointed. we are parents who get out a couple of times a month and you made this experience a very unpleasant one.

It’s the Olive Garden. You know what you’re going to get. Make sure to check in and get the 2 for 25 deal; otherwise, you’re just going to be paying too much to eat OK «Italian» food. I love the chicken parm there… for some reason. And the breadsticks are delicious. The salad came with too much dressing for my taste, but maybe that’s just Baton Rouge? Overall, I go for nostalgia. And I’m a bit shamed to put it on my Unilocal feed that I went to Olive Garden, but who cares? Really?

As always Olive Garden never disappoints! Breadsticks, salad, soups galore! Had gnocchi and chicken soup(a must try) and that was good but I am still a zuppa tuscana gal. lol Service was good and everyone’s friendly. Love the complimentary Andes chocolate mints at the end. Had to drive from Denham but def worth it. Buon appetito! xoxo

Eh. I have been to many Olive Gardens… this one is probably the one I was not impressed with. As soon as you walk in there is a funky smell. I don’t know what it is but it stinks. It almost reminds me of sour milk. I’m serious. As I waited for my table, I took a good look around and I realized how dirty and disorganized the place actually was. The floors were filthy. Finally our table was avaliable, we followed our waitress to our booth, as soon as I sat down I could feel how sticky the table was. So gross. We waited for our breadsticks, salad, and drinks. When our salad arrived I was ready to dig in, except I was stopped because I realized how disgusting my utensils were. THEREWASLEFTOVERFOODSTUCKONIT. I was so grossed out I skipped my salad and ate some breadsticks. I asked the waitress to get me another set of utensils, it only took her like a million years. My main entrée arrived BEFORE she got me new utensils. It was insane. Italian food is my favorite food, I am a crazy pasta lover. But coming here seriously turned me off. I had such a horrible time here I don’t know if I ever want to go to another Olive Garden again.

I usually always have a good experience at Olive Garden and yesterday was great. We were told it would be about a 45 minute wait when we arrived and it was pretty much that. The food was great, I had the Tour of Italy, my wife had Shrimp and Chicken Carbonara, my daughter had the Spaghetti with Meat Sauce, and loved it too. The salad was good and the breadsticks were good. I love the basic homestyle Italian food that Olive Garden specializes in. The tomato sauces, the cream sauces are all very good. I have been to other Italian Restaurants that have pricier menus, fancy chefs and while definitely more expensive, not any better. I am always satisfied with the quality of service and food for the price paid.

Who likes cold Lasagna? Ugh, seriously kitchen staff!?? They need a QA/QC before all meals get served. Service is super slow too. Each time we’ve been, the service is beyond desirable.

Came here for a late lunch a couple weeks ago. The food was pretty average. After I left, I went to the website given on the receipt and left them a review. The manager of the restaurant contacted me through the email and apologized, offering for us to come back and to make it «the best experience.» We decided to give it a chance and came back a couple weekends after. This time it was completely different. The food was piping hot, the potions were huge and the service was amazing. They can definitely step up their game. It was one of the best restaurant experiences that I ever had at Olive Garden. So, I do recommend them and a good thing is that they care and they want you to be satisfied.

Been many a year since I’ve stepped foot in an Olive Garden but my daughter loves the place and had received a $ 25 gift card for Christmas… So since there was finally a movie that hit in her age range(tween-ager) we went on a Daddy-Daughter date and she took me out to eat… I don’t recommend showing up at 6 P.M. on a Saturday that’s for sure… however the wait would have been made much more bearable if the seating pagers they hand out wouldn’t have been on the fritz… you couldn’t walk out the front doors and sit on the numerous benches they have outside without the pagers totally freaking out… This led to everybody waiting for a table staying crammed in the inadequate lobby… it was a nice evening and it couldn’t be enjoyed… BUMMER NOW to the meal experience… ZERO complaints, once seated the service was timely and efficient(we made our movie even with a 35 minute wait for a table)…Alejandro was our server and he was top notch! Ordered the Seafood Alfredo and the daughter ordered the Cheese Ravioli… both meals were excellently prepared and tasted wonderful… was pleased to see my daughter enjoy her order and the talk and laughter we shared were simply priceless… Even with what seemed like an interminable wait, our meal and more importantly my time with my daughter were well worth it! I’ll be open to returning but will be better prepared on an appropriate time to arrive…

Salad and breadsticks were good, but otherwise I had a forgettable experience. I had the lasagna fritter as an appetizer which would have been more enjoyable had it not been room temperature. Next I had the southern Italy tour as my entrée. The tour had far too much pepper, and once again was not thoroughly warmed. Service was not above average but was sufficient.

Great food and service; always clean and affordable. Calamari is best around and Lunch service is super fast even with an appetizer. Great wine selection and full bar. Never Ending Pasta bowl is my favorite time of year.

It is Olive Garden — expecting more is not suggested. The food was average. The service was decent and the total charge was reasonable. I am convinced that there are better Italian places in Baton Rouge, but didn’t feel like driving around looking. Olive Garden(as usual) is right off the interstate and easy to get in and out quickly.
