I personally love the white cream twinkle toes one and cannot wait to have the hot glazed served at eat in.

It was my first here and it won’t be my last. The first thing I noticed was how clean, spacious and bright it was inside. Cutomer service was great. I was greeted upon entering and he asked me what I wanted to order. I needed some time to decide because of the many great selections. I decided on the Piña colada cake doughnut and I am glad I did. It was very flavorful and moist. I would definitely recommend.

AMAZING food and very friendly staff! Very clean and well put together place of business. Would definitely recommend this to anyone in the area liking for some great donuts. I met the Owner Jade, he is very welcoming and nice guy. He even gave me and my buddy a full tour of the place! Felt right at home!

Oh, Mr. Ronnie’s. Makes the trip to Baton Rouge worthwhile. I don’t even like sweets, but I always grab several donuts when I’m in town cuz they’re just so danged good!

How did I now know about this place sooner?!? ²⁴⁄₇ DONUTS. And get this they are warm, great tasting donuts! They have a wide variety of flavors… Please try the wedding cake! But honestly the plain donut is so satisfying. So happy I stumbled upon this gem. The inside is nice and clean and they even have a drive thru window! Awesome for a sweet tooth craving at anytime of the day or night !

Friendly staff and a cheap and easy meal. Though the burger bread was sort of dry. There hours of op is unbeatable

I’ve only been here twice, so please read other reviews to get a more extensive opinion. First time here was for an event, so I can say that the workers are fabulous, the store is setup pretty cute on the inside, and the samples I tried were delicious. The second time was takeout donuts, and my big complaint was that they were cold. Truly cold. Not just room temp but fridge cold. I’m sure everyone can say that they prefer warm and fresh donuts, so who would leave happy with a chilled from the fridge donut? And the name of the place implies they’d be «hot»! I’m absolutely a donut connoisseur, so I’m just choosing to think this was a fluke honestly till the next time I get to return and can hopefully update my review. ;-)

I Love Mr. Ronnie ’ s Famous Donuts on Lee Dr. Near Highland Rd. This store is open 24hrs and near LSU. I Love the Chocolate Glazed ot Bavarian filled Donuts. They have a fun Arcade style game in the store that has over 20 arcade games ranging from Pac-​Man to Donkey Kong. The best part is they sell great tasting sliders and seasoned fries.

The owner is awesome and his doughnuts are equally amazing! My favorite is the plain glazed! I even love them without the icing. The taste of the delicate, hot dough is delightful and melts in your mouth! You have to give them a try. The daily selection is unmatched!

Though I am not that big a donut fan, the glazed donuts here made me a bit of a donut lover. The glazed donuts here (the first and the second and the third time I had it) were hot and it just melted in my mouth. I have had at Merry Lees but this one does a better job at the Glaze. Atleast mine was not overly sweet (Though some people might actually not like it, but not me!). They have a ²⁴⁄₇ take away (atleast thats what they write). I have had the hot glazed at 2 AM and they were hot and they were open.
They give 9 $ something for a dozen and it always works out fine. They had some other donuts (the others were not really hot) but I preferred the GLAZED. You might want to get a donut from here and maybe try their coffee…
For simply loving the glaze, I give them 4. It is really closer to 3.5 but not 3 so! Lol I don’t want to appear stingy with my reviews. They really are fine donuts.

I’ve enjoyed Mr Ronnie’s donuts for many years before they opened up in Baton Rouge. The store in Houma was a favorite of my grandkids. This is a much nicer store than the one I remember in Houma, but the donuts seem to be the same. The interior is cute, employee’s are friendly and they are open ²⁴⁄₇ so that’s a plus.
They might get 5 stars if the dough was lighter on the filled. They are good but not light enough IMO. I like those cinnamon sugar donut holes and the coffee is pretty good. Glad they followed me to Baton Rouge and I am sure I will pop in now and then.

Mr. Ronnie’s Famous Donuts is pretty much a convenience store for donuts seeing as it’s open ²⁴⁄₇. There’s even a drive thru window.
On the day we visited, the guy working behind the counter greeted us with an energetic hello when we walked through the doors. The interior was painted in bold, circus themed red and yellow and outfitted with 50s diner stools. Video game consoles were lined up on one wall and rows and rows of donuts were displayed behind glass for our viewing pleasure.
Once we realized it would cost the same price for one dozen glazed donuts or a dozen flavored donuts we went straight for the flavors. Not sure how they make money charging one price for the donuts but that’s none of my business.
We decided to do a donut tasting later at the house so we got a box of different flavors:
Red Velvet (tasted just like RV cake)
Lemon (good, subtle citrus flavor)
Banana (could barely taste any banana)
Devil’s Food (moist and chocolatey)
Wedding Cake (almond flavored)
Cinnamon Sugar (tasted like Taco Bell cinnamon twists)
Chocolate with Sprinkles (just ok)
Powdered Sugar (boring and kind of dry)
Purple & Gold Sprinkles (tasted like the plain donut)
Donut Holes (imperfect orbs… I liked that they didn’t have a Stepford look)
Overall, the donuts were moist and full of flavor. The clear favorite was Red Velvet with Lemon coming in distant second. The donuts were reasonably priced and the service was extremely friendly.
Needless to say, I would recommend stopping in to try Mr. Ronnie’s donuts.

Love this place so much! I have such a donut obsession. It’s a problem really. And to find a place that serves 24 hour hot donuts is really more than a dream for me!
Anyway, my daughter and I and our dog went through the drive-​through one morning and got 5 glazed donuts and one chocolate sprinkle. No worries the dog didn’t get a donut, though she wanted one! They were so delicious! Not perfectly round, pretty big, and very homemade looking! I had not found a place that compares with Mary Lee’s donuts until I had these. Not only are they delicious and hot all the time but Mr. Ronnie’s also serves other things besides donuts! I haven’t had anything else on the menu besides donuts and probably never will because that’s all I will ever want when I go there, but I’m sure it’s all very good. The people working there are also super sweet!

Great donuts, try the cake donuts, they are great. I really enjoyed the wedding cake flavor. Great staff and owner.

I’m so ashamed the doughnut place down the street from me if they knew I wrote this, yet maybe not. The donuts here are unique and not the same as any other doughnut shop in Baton Rouge methinks.
When I first heard about this place I was like, great another doughnut shop. Man was I glad when I came here. First off it’s open ²⁴⁄₇. Second they have hot glaze whenever you want it. Third, they’ve got the most out of this world selection of variety that will blow your mind (and your taste buds).
These donuts are made fresh and are meant to be eaten within hours of being purchased. I like to eat at the place. The décor is fun and bright. There’s a long counter with stools and the staff is helpful and willing to talk about their products. They also have an iCade machine with class 80’s arcade hits to play.
My favorite doughnut is the PB&J. it’s the most over the top doughnut they have. It’s a Peanut Butter and Jelly infused Jelly doughnut with Peanut Butter Frosting on top. The Red Velvet Cake, the chocolate frosted cake doughnut, the peanut butter devil’s food cake, (get this, has peanut butter frosting glazed over it and the hole fills in with the frosting, for sugar overload).
They also have (get this) banana fritters, and these are twice the size of any other fritter anywhere. They also have jelly infused doughnut holes !!! And the one doughnut they have that is above and beyond over the top is the maple bacon éclair doughnut. It’s like Boston Crème x2 with bacon spread on top. I took one to work to give to someone and people thought it was a cake pastry. They were slicing off sections with a knife.
If you get a dozen donuts, they won’t all fit in the box. And most surprisingly the price is very reasonable for the size of product that you’re getting.
They also have on their menu that they make a mean burger to order. I haven’t had a chance to try that yet, I’m going to go back and try that, I’m sure it will be out of this world.
Each time I come here the people are always very helpful and fun to talk to. The prices are great, the selection is more than one could ask for. They’ve got a great thing going, I hope it lasts them a lifetime. Go check it out.

These donuts were AMAZE! Go here on a cheat day because you are going to want to eat more than one. The dopest (yes I said DOPEST) thing about Ronnies is they ALWAYS have warm glaze donuts ready for you in the back. Anyone who has had the great misfortune of eating a day old tasting glazed donut knows the true value in that.
But it gets better… They have a whole myriad of flavors ranging from red velvet cake to wedding cake, both of which my mouth waters for as I type. The wedding cake was my absolute favorite with the hint of almond flavor and moist cake-​y insides with crisp outside and glaze.
I’d definitely suggest you stop by.

Great place to get donuts if you are in the area. They are open 24 hours a day. The staff is very friendly. I like the glazed donuts, you can have those other kind. I didn’t care for there chocolate donuts. I’m so use to donuts from another place in Baton Rouge thats known for donuts.

I went in for a dozen donuts today and immediately noticed the wide variety of flavors. From your regular glazed to coconut with chocolate or chocolate with peanuts, there’s a flavor for everyone. The décor is very nice and inviting and the customer service was great. The donuts themselves are tasty, but probably not the best donuts I’ve ever had (I prefer my donuts super light and airy). Even so, I can totally see myself making the trek to that part of town when I have a late night donut craving… Yay for being open 24hours.

You no longer have to travel so far out of your way to get a donut from a place I don’t care to name. Hot, fresh glazed are always available 24-​hours a day, just ask? Each time I have been here, I have received stellar customer service and the donuts are to-​die-​for. I absolutely loved my hot, glazed donut and still think about it everyday, since I left! They have donut holes (strawberry filled & Bavarian cream filled), apple fritters, bacon maple and so much more heavenly goodness! Oh yes, they have a drive-​thru also! Sitting on the inside is an makes for a fun get-​together. With their bright red stools, checkered floors, counter seating and bright colors makes for an inviting atmosphere.
