Great donuts that are fresh & crispy. these could use more glaze on them. I ordered 3 glazed donuts and 2 of the 3 were half covered in a thin but delicious glaze. Despite that, still giving stars for politeness, freshness and more for the hard fried crisp of the donut. **Hate mushy soggy donuts** Definitely going back

I gotta agree with others, the BEST customer service, big smiles and friendly service all around. And the hot glazed will hit the spot! With everyone wishing me a good day, I leave here feeling like a rock star, but even better: a rock star with donuts! I hope to see same success at their new Sherwood/Coursey location that they say is opening Wednesday 8÷26÷15.

Whenever I go to WalMart on Coursey I just have to to stop and grab a dozen. This place has by far THEEBEST customer service in Baton Rouge. When you walk in the door every employee stops and greets you with a smile. The kolaches are bomb too!

Let me start off with, I am a Krispy Kreme Doughnut girl. However, this morning the kids wanted donuts and I refused to drive all the way across town to get them. My youngest son suggested Mary Lee. So he trotted off to get the donuts. To my surprise, the were pretty good. They were really fresh and the glaze was tasty. All and all they would be a quick fix for my donut when I can’t get to Krispy Kreme.

Their donuts are AHHHHMAZING! They’re so soft and fluffy with the right amount of sweetness. I have been looking for donuts like these ever since I moved from southeast Texas. My favorite there were Shipley’s donuts and I think I have found a replacement! Like previous reviews, this is a small place and not a sit down kind of place. They have friendly service and most conveniently, a drive thru! You can easily drive up wearing your jammies ;)

Go there. Get kolaches. Eat them up. Repeat tomorrow. The only thing that would improve the fast, super-friendly service at this spot would be a front door delivery every morning at 7:15 am. I get a genuinely warm reception each and every time I walk through the door of this location. The staff is kind and altogether attentive to every customer, remembering their regulars well. The donuts are amazing and almost always hot, but the kolaches… oh, the jalapeño kolaches. This is a must-have. Get there before 9:00 am for a fresh croissant wrapped sausage with cheese and jalapeño goodness. Yeah, it’s what’s for breakfast! Bonus: they serve Community Coffee.

Got the urge to satisfy your sweet tooth? Mary Lee on Coursey is the place to go for your sugar fix. You can’t go wrong with their simple glazed donuts, they are soft and savory, and the sweetness is just right and not doughy at all. One caveat, don’t expect to come in and«OCCUPY» the place, it’s rather small good enough for take out only. No dine-in, but they do have drive-through. Come get you some before the Baton Rouge Five-O come running and OCCUPY the place.
