Where’s the flavor! Thursday, April 14 for lunch, had the chitterlings. The gravy was flavorless collard greens were bland. I tried to doctor the meal up with Tabasco & a little Tony’s but it didn’t help. The chitterlings were also tough they needed to be cooked down for at least another 1 hour before serving. Candied yams were mediocre at best. The best part of the meal was the corn muffin I have been visiting this restaurant for the past 8 months. The quality of the food has fallen off greatly, I will not be back.

I have tried the Chicken and Waffles several times and I’m in love. The waffle is to die for. Yesterday, I finally had an opportunity to try the ox tails and it was so good. I do wish there was more sides to choose from, as I do not eat pork. Overall I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the home style cooking there.
