First time to visit this neighborhood park and I found it very charming. A paved walking loop large enough to use for bike riding. Lots of vegetation, beautiful shade trees and I even spotted humming birds in the area. They playground is in good shape, tennis court and basketball hoop well kept and plenty of parking space. I couldn’t help but notice they managed to merit 11 trash barrels for a 5 ½ acre park. That is awesome considering there are no sports teams that play here. Like all parks rain spoils some of the functionality. The tether ball area was flooded and it looked like it might need a little ground build up because the way it’s holding water the mosquitoes are sure to find it a perfect spot to breed. I saw plenty of bird species in the area so maybe they will munch on any extra mosquitoes created from the tether ball swamp. Bird watchers must love this place. I really think this park reflects the laid back natural feel of Old Goodwood and enjoyed walking the grounds. I only wish I had more than a 1 megapixel tablet to capture a shot of the humming bird drinking from the puddles in the parking lot. Those little guys are much to small and quick for the simple equipment I had.
