I have been a patient here since 2008 I think. I went in a couple of weeks ago needing reading glasses and an updated pair of glasses to wear while driving at night. I brought in MYKATESPADE frames and explained that I wanted the lenses changed out and to use those for my «reading» glasses. No problem. I also picked out another pair of Kate Spade frames for my «night time» glasses but explained in detail that the ones I presently have are fine for now, I am just getting them because I had the appointment and the Rx needed to be adjusted just a bit. I wait a week to ten days when I finally get the call they are ready. I get there, They put the night time driving lenses into what was supposed to be my reading glasses. I desperately needed those. The headaches are unbearable and I was told last night someone would call me today to see how quickly they could be redone. I am thinking Walmart couldn’t have done a worse job. Sad thing is, I love my Dr there. I will not be trusting the«Technicians» again though. Very sad, I used to think so much of them. Careless work.

They broke our Rayban sunglasses frames while trying to put prescription lenses in them. They refused to replace the frames, refused to refund us for the lenses, and refused to give us the lenses that we paid for. I’m still in shock because we were basically told that the only thing we could do is bring another set of frames for them to put the lenses in. Why would I bring them another set of frames if they already broke a set of Rayban frames?

The first time I came in, one lady was very friendly and offered help. I purchased glasses and things were great. My husband picked them up when they were ready, and said they treated him like lower class(he was in carpenter work clothes) and he waited 20 minutes for them to pull the glasses out a drawer. He brought them home, and I can’t see with the glasses. Something’s wrong. I called to let them know and to see when I could bring them back, and the receptionist on the phone was rude and seemed like I was irritating her by calling her work place.

I’ve been using this place for 2 years and the service level is always top notch. Even if there’s a wait to see the doctor or get your glasses adjusted, the staff is very pleasant and makes sure you are taken care of as quickly as possible. I have suggested Eyemax to others and will continue to do so as they are the only people I trust to help me pick out the best glasses and give me the best treatment — even for a person who can’t stand eye poking, such as myself.
