holy crap, why am I only just now discovering this place? I wandered in in search of tabletop gear for my side catering gear, but wound up seeing so many(cheap!!) things I could use in my own home. I felt a lot like a kid in a candy store, and the place is organized very well. Eventually a gentleman asked me if I needed help, then he spent a good 10 minutes answering my questions and helping me reach shelves I couldn’t on my own xD After I told him exactly what I was looking for, he said he’d give me a few catalogs to browse through. He went behind the counter and came back with 4 large catalogs, all for me to keep. And all of the prices I saw were INCREDIBLY reasonable. I scored a cute little apron for $ 6, and all of their coats are in the $ 10-$ 15 range. You can’t beat that. I’ll definitely be back.

Looking for that kitchen item, need restaurant supply items or looking for a specialty piece of cooking or kitchen equipment? Ducote’s has it as the store is huge and well stocked. It is like a kitchen addict’s dream… rows and rows of gadgets, utensils, pots, pans, equipment, etc. The prices are low and you can buy in bulk. They are also open to the public!

Overall, if you need anything for your kitchen, I would give them a chance before going anywhere else. I have been aware of Ducote’s for a while, but I never had the time to go in and really look around. Well, this morning, I warped a friend’s cookie sheet while broiling a steak, so I figured that was a good reason to go and check them out. I am still amazed by all I found within those cramped, narrow aisles. Need a corkscrew? How about $ 1.50? A heavy-duty 10″ non-stick skillet? How about $ 13? Yes, those are real prices. I purchased 2 half-sheet baking sheets and a 10″ non-stick skillet for less than $ 25. They have everything you could want, and all the prices were awesome. They had giant freezers, stoves, massive mixers and all the dishes and knives you could ever need. They also have storage containers, big trash cans, and the biggest rice cookers I have ever seen. If you need it to run a restaurant, or a kitchen, Ducote’s has it. I know what my family is getting for Christmas!

This place sits in a nondescript building and you wouldn’t think twice about stopping in if you didn’t know better… The reason you need to know better is cause most places like this only sell to the restaurant trade BUT this place will sell to you as just a customer off the street… Stopped in looking for my niece a cutting board for her new apartment and she wanted one like her aunt/my sister has… thick wood and heavy… you can find them @ Williams-Sonoma and Pottery Barn Kitchen etc… for like $ 100+ and up… here, $ 25 for the smallest one which is pretty damn big… Everything you need for your kitchen, dining room or home bar can be found here for prices that make you want to overspend simply because you can’t believe how great the prices are… Example I picked me up a new 36 inch crawfish paddle for $ 5 and change… anywhere else that paddle is running me $ 10-$ 15…Hell I got one right now that’s inferior to the one I just bought and it run me $ 13… Dishware(plates, bowls, salad plates etc…), kitchenware(colanders, blenders, cutting boards, measuring cups, whisks etc.), utensils(knives for food prep are high quality and cheaper than dirt), shotglasses, drink shakers… this place has everything one would need and it’s all quality with a capital«Q»!!! You find yourself in need of something kitchen, dining or cooking related you need to make this place your one and only stop… they’ll have what you need and leave money in your pocket!
