Domino’s Pizza

Love this place along with the one on Jones Creek. The only downfall is that around a certain time at night the doors are closed and you have to pick up your food through this drive thru window. It’s really sketchy but besides that my pizzas are always fresh and delicious!

Pizza was delivered fast and hot. Excellent pizza!

«Helpful and efficient staff». This was my first time visiting this Domino’s location. I do not normally go to Domino’s, but I was in a pinch this time and needed some pizzas for my daughter to take to her sleepover. I called in for the order on a Friday evening. Even though they were swamped with orders, they effectively took my order of 2 small pizzas: «cheese, no sauce, hand-​tossed & a pepperoni, hand-​tossed». They told me 11 – 15 minutes. I arrived within 5 minutes of calling in for the order and it was going to finish in time, except for an inevitable error in cooking the cheese pizza… a huge bubble came up on the dough as it was baking, so it was not in the condition to be served. They quickly informed me that a new one was underway. I was out of there in about 20 minutes, so no biggie! All-​in-​all, for a Domino’s, it was perfect for what I needed at the time!

So I am giving 3 Stars and reviewing specifically the New Pan Pizza that I ordered from them because of a few things. Firstly I ordered this Pizza online and they do a very good job of keeping it from the end user that the new handmade pan pizzas are in fact the replacement to the ultimate deep dish. This is fine however they should have done a better job of making that known.
Quality:
As for the quality of the Pizza itself. When the pie is fresh the pizza is in fact amazing however the pie doesn’t fair nearly as well cold, microwaved, or even rebaked in the oven after just a few hours of sitting in the refrigerator. This is somewhat depressing but I feel like because of this having it available only in a medium size is justifiable. Does it taste like the old deep dish? Kinda I mean there is definitely hints of it in there however there is a buttery tasted that makes itself known in each bite. This is kind of a nice addition to the pizza however i think that it is in fact the culprit on the stale taste on reheats. However I am open to being wrong.
Delivery:
As for the delivery of the pizza it took about 45 minutes to deliver which is a bit higher then I would have liked. I find 25 – 30 minutes an acceptable time for arrival. The delivery guy was very nice and did explain that this was in fact replacing the deep dish. I had already known about that because of reading FAQ online however it was a nice addition he also explained that this crust is made fresh where as the old deep dish was frozen.
