I’ve been looking for great Banh Mi in Baton Rouge and I’ve found it. They’re friendly, clean, and the service is great. Best of all their banh mi is delicious! I had Banh Mi Thit Nuong(Pork) and pork spring rolls. Both were great. I got takeout for my staff and, while skeptical, quickly realized these were legit! It’s my new favorite lunch place!

Amazing food and great service! The Vermicelli and Phở are both delicious. Always get the grilled pork if you have the option, as the seasoning is phenomenal. Authentic and humble!

Not bad for one of the few Vietnamese restaurants in Baton Rouge. However, if you eat Vietnamese cuisine on a regular basis you will be dissapointed. Beware– do not ask for anything extra or you will be charged again.

Best phở around! The service is outstanding as well. The price was very reasonable with the sizes they offer. Had enough for two meals. We will definitely be back.

Really good Banh mi and phở. My favorite place to go for Thai in Baton Rouge. It’s clear on the other side of town from where I live, but it’s worth the drive when I get a craving.

The food is great! I tried their porkchop with rice… The meat is tasty and tender, jasmine rice is perfectly cooked paired with crunchy and fresh veggies! looking forward to try their phở soon when we come back here in Baton Rouge. Good service too!

Dang’s is dang good food! I went for the first time and loved it. Real food, not precooked or packaged. Very fresh.

Love this place. The food is great, the service is friendly, and the prices are low. Very casual, family-run spot on the outskirts of Baton Rouge, but it’s worth the trip. I always get the pork banh mi, and while sometimes(but not often) the bread is a little stale, that’s the only complaint I have about this place. The spring rolls with shrimp are fresh, and my boyfriend loves their fried egg rolls. The beef phở and pork wonton soup are excellent. Their crispy duck is great, but be careful and watch for bones — it’s served whole. I’ve also enjoyed their stir-fried tofu and veggies. For drinks, the café sua da is a sweet pick-me-up, and the thai iced tea makes for a great dessert. I also like their raspberry tea. I always end up with leftovers — they serve huge portions — and every time my boyfriend and I go, we never spend over $ 40(which is very unusual for the two of us). I only wish Dang’s was closer!

Dang’s is amazing. I think I’ve eaten at every Vietnamese restaurant in baton rouge and Dang’s is the best! Their phở and banh mi is out of this world, as well as many of their other offerings you may not be as familiar with. Their staff is always very nice and has helped us several times with explaining some of the dishes and making recommendations.

Not only did I enjoy good service and great food, the prices were awesome. Had a comfortable environment with a gorgeous waitress. A great place to bring out of towners to try something new and good. Definitely gonna make regular visits for dine in and carryouts.

There are quite a few Vietnamese restaurants around this area and we decided to try Dang’s out for the first time. We ordered Bun Bo Hue and spicy beef stir fry rice noodles. I didn’t think the bun bo hue had much flavor or spicy enough but the stir fry noodles was good. Wasn’t great though, I’ve had better ones before. Somewhat disappointed since it has pretty good reviews which led to our decision to try it out. Wasn’t impressed and actually prefer others Vietnamese restaurants in town!

This place has amazing food. I feel everyone goes and gets the phở here. But, their other dishes are what really stand out. Their curry chicken noodle soup and hu tieu are two of my favorite dishes. I suggest everyone venture out here for great authentic Vietnamese food.

Had the Hu Tieu and thought is was pretty good. They were pretty generous with the meats. The staff was attentive. Would definitely come back.

This place hit the mark in several key areas. The service was friendly enough and actually got better as the meal went on. The spring rolls were as good as it gets. They have several options in that department and I went with shrimp. The hoison and peanut sauce was spot on as well. For my entrée I had a chicken noodle dish labeled as spicy. It was quite tasty but I wanted it to be a little more spicy. The price was very reasonable. It looks a little divey but it wasn’t scary.

Stumbled on this place when I was checking out the various Asian Markets in the area. Being the first time I’ve been here, I tried several items on the menu. The waitress probably thought I was crazy ordering so much. The Phở was great. I ordered this egg, shrimp, Beansprout — crêpe(an appetizer) It was pretty large. When you dip it in the fish sauce, add the picked carrots, Lettuce, and cucumber, it tastes really good. Also got the Pork skewer, Spring roll with Pork and Shrimp, and Beef wrapped in this green leaf(they were all appetizers). The beef wrapped thing, not worth it. The Spring roll with the dipping sauce was good, not spectacular, But one of the better ones I’ve had, but could still use some work. The pork skewer was decent, but you need to dip it in the fish sauce to make it good. I have mixed reviews on the Lemonade, Tried both the Regular and Soda version. I’ve read the other reviews. I guess it’s just a matter of taste. Others seem to have loved it. Personally, it was too sweet for me. I would prefer it just slightly more tart, to make it refreshing. So, the appetizers, I’d rank the place as a 3 star, the Phở was really good, so a 5 star. Service was Great. All the veggies were really fresh. The place looks run down and kind of sketchy(as can be expected for most authentic viet restaurants in Baton Rouge.(different standards and emphasis on cleanliness than we learn to expect of our normal restaurants… Funny how vietnamese restaurants we tend to accept as being somewhat dirty, go to a steak house or Italian restaurant and we’d be abhorred). Anyways, I did like the food there. If you are looking for Authentic Vietnamese, should stop by here. Its always a good sign when you see a restaurant with lots of people from that ethnic group eating there.

Great Vietnamese food, and my favorite place in town to get duck. More traditional menu choices than Saigon Noodle, as Dangs doesn’t have the specialty spring rolls and lacks a colorful, Vietnamese-noob-friendly menu.

If you talk about authentic viet cuisine with a large variety, this is the one restaurant in Baton Rouge. My boyfriend had the picked lemonade and he loves pickles, it was pretty tasty. I loved the Bo La Lot, yummy meat wrapped in fragrant leaves and fried to perfection.

Dang, am I glad I tried this place. Haha. I started with a nice refreshing glass of the Viet lemonade. That drink knocked my socks off. I really like lemonade but this one was sweeter and not as tangy as most and very delicious. We then had an order of the egg rolls which were crispy and warm and bursting with flavor. They didn’t even need the accompanying dipping sauce but it did enhance the flavor in a very nice way when I dipped one of my pieces into it. For our entrees we had a bowl of phở and split a grilled pork bahn mi. The phở was phenomenal and that bahn mi was out of this world. It’s been three weeks and I’m still craving another one of those sandwiches. I could have easily eaten two or three or seven. Yum! Go give Dang’s a try! You’ll be dang happy you did!

My son tells me there are many Vietnamese restaurants in BRLA, but this is his favorite. I only eat phở when I’m with him, so it was fitting this was the last stop on my little weekend trip to BR. I ordered the chicken phở and I like it a good deal. The chicken was large and tender and the broth was delicious. This is not a fancy spot, truly a storefront joint, so the service was sporadic. Or orders were taken quickly and food was brought out hot, but the checks never came, so we pod at the counter. It worked.

Dang’s is definitely a hidden jewel in Baton Rouge. Quite possibly the best Vietnamese food, but hands down best phở in town! Service is fast and friendly. Spring rolls are also excellent. It’s a hole in the wall, but definitely worth the visit.
