I briefly lived at Cypress Lake. Then girls in the office were probably the best thing about living there. They were extremely helpful and professional. Once I came home a little after mid day only to find my front door left cracked open(and I didn’t leave it that way). Shortly after, I realized they were changing out our windows to energy efficient Windows and that the contractors had entered my house THROUGH A WINDOW instead of being given a key to come through the door. Apparently this was proper protocol for installing Windows or at least that’s what the extremely insensitive property manager led me to believe. Because they came through the windows, the knocked over my daughters tv and broke the screen. I’ve been paying insurance since I signed my lease to Cypress Lake but of course the tv isn’t covered under my insurance! How convenient that only their appliances and things are covered under the insurance that I am paying every month. So I speak to corporate and others and still nothing. I was also never given a notice that someone was entering my house and neither was ANYONE in my building(because I asked). Because I lived on the lake side of the complex I was told that maybe the wind from the lake magically blew the notice of my door(and apparently everyone’s door in the building). I would not recommend Cypress Lake ATALL. I moved to Cypress Lake because I felt it was a safe place for my daughter and I but nothing is scarier than coming home to your door standing open. No thanks.

I was a little skeptical about moving here since I didn’t get to see the actual apartment before the move in date, but my fiancé assured me it was the perfect apartment… and he was right. After living in Houston TX for a year in the shittiest apartment ever this was HEAVEN. Cypress Lakes Apartments is located in the best location ever. Grocery stores, clothing stores, restaurants are close by(literally about 5 minutes without traffic) traffic can be frustrating around lunch time and 5:00 pm on Siegen Lane, but there’s a backroad you can take that leads you straight to the apartments letting you avoid all that craziness The front desk girls are professional, and helpful. Which is nice. We live on the third floor, 2 bedroom, 2 bath with a spacious living room, and balcony. We pay $ 1,118.00. Unfortunately, we are moving to DC in a few days, hopefully we can find an apartment as great as this one over there.(Fingers Crossed). All in all, yes I recommend these apartments. You won’t be disappointed.
